Essay on Father's Day

The first superhero any child meets in their life is their father. In the growing age of children, they need someone who can be their role model. Father is the best example of a superhero. A father works tirelessly day and night for his family so that he can educate his children well and support his family. To give respect to this hard work, we celebrate Father's Day every year. On this day, we give respect and gratitude to our father.

If any child is in any trouble, the first person a child remembers is his father. This shows the importance of a father in anyone's life. Father's Day is celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of June every year throughout the world.

The Story behind Father's Day Celebration:

There are two major stories behind celebrating Father's Day.

The first Father's Day was celebrated in America on 19 June 1910 to honor the father of Miss Sonora Smart Dooh. Sanora's father William Smart was a civil war veteran. William Smart's wife died at the time of giving birth to his sixth child. He raised his six children alone after his wife passed away. After William Smart passed away, his daughter Sanora wanted to celebrate Father's Day on June 5, on the death anniversary of her father. She believed that all of us always respect the mother's sacrifices and emotions but no one pays attention to the father's sacrifices. Not everyone understands the importance of a father in life. In order to celebrate the life and sacrifices of a father, we should celebrate Father's Day. On this day, we can tell our father how important he is in our lives. For some reasons, it was postponed to the third Sunday of June.

Origin of Celebration

According to the second story, Father's Day was celebrated for the first time in America in Fairmont, West Virginia. The day was celebrated for the first time on July 5, 1908. It was commemorated in memory of 361 men, who died in 1907 in a coal mine explosion. Father's Day was officially recognized as a national holiday in 1972 during President Nixon's reign. Since then, Father's Day is celebrated every year on the third Sunday of June.

Father's Day is celebrated on different days in different countries. In countries like India, the United States and the United Kingdom, Father's Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June. In Argentina, Canada, France, Greece, Ireland, Mexico, Singapore, South Africa and Venezuela, Father's Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June. Whereas in Australia and New Zealand, Father's Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of September. In Thailand, Father's Day is celebrated on 5 December; on this day the birthday of the King of Thailand is also celebrated. In Brazil, Father's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of August.

Modes of Celebration:

Everyone has their way of celebrating Father's Day. Many people go out on this day to eat good food. On this day, children give gifts to their father, offer them greetings, and give them cards and flowers. On this day, every child honors his father and offers gratitude.

Mother’s sacrifice is given a high position in every civilization and culture. However, the person who dedicates his whole life for the happiness of his children and his family should also get the same respect as the mother. The way we celebrate Mother's Day in honor of a Mother, similarly Father's Day is celebrated to honor Father's love.

This day is celebrated to express gratitude to the father. The father is the person who pays all his duty without expressing his grief and pain. After mother, if someone is very close to our heart, it is our father. The father's love does not look like that of the mother, but it is the father who makes us strong from inside. Our father gives us a lesson about good and bad in the world. We do not need to worry about anything as long our father’s hand is on our forehead. They always keep grief to themselves and give us happiness. We should never forget our father's struggles. We should always celebrate the sacrifice of father’s and give them respect.

The main motive of celebrating Father's Day is to remind and give special thanks to every father who has given a lot of dedication to their children. However, in children's lives, Fathers are the real role model for them, they are inspired by their father since childhood. This is celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of June every year.

Fathers’ Day Essay 800 Words

The only person I always admire in my life is my dad who I love. I still remember all my childhood memories with my dad. They are the real reason for my happiness and happiness. Because of who I was, my mother was always busy with kitchens and other household chores and these ‘dads’ celebrated with me and my sister. I think he is the best father in the world. I feel blessed to have such a father in my life. I always thank God for giving me the opportunity to be born into such a wonderful family.

He is a humble and peaceful person. They never scolded me and took all my mistakes lightly and very politely and made me see all my mistakes. He is the head of the family, and he helps all members of the family through difficult times. They share their mistakes and their successes in life to tell me. He has his own online marketing business, yet he never pressures or pulls him forward in the same field, instead he always encourages me with whatever I want to be in my life. He is a good father not only because he helps me but also because of the knowledge, the power, the helpful environment and especially in treating people fairly.

Father's Day is a day in the year when children give their father presents and gifts and one big thing, which is love. Father's Day is just one day, but what about each day of the year? Fathers' Day should be a daily occurrence because fathers are generous and do much to help their children.

Every father is a constant support system and mentor for their child. He's the one I always look up to when I find myself in trouble. My father has been leading me in all my major decisions in life. He is a hardworking and loving person. Dad loves movies. Whenever he gets time, he likes to watch an old movie. In fact, we are sometimes told who controls the television. But, deep down, we like to tease each other and play again. Dad doesn't like to do anything. Sometimes during the holidays, when he and my sister do nothing and do nothing, he gives us one job or another. And he is very organized and keeps all his papers organized.

My Dad - My Model:

Every father is a good example for his children. First of all, I commend your love of work. He is always there to help his mates, even if it is not his job. In fact, we may find him spending hours helping others. After all, my father is just a man. He does not like expensive things and lives a simple, peaceful life. Otherwise he does not scold anyone. I wonder if something is wrong with her because she takes everything in order and gives herself time to decide.

My father - My Friend:

My father is also my friend. I can talk about everything with my dad, even those who have the courage to talk in front of my mom. I know he should keep it a secret and give me the advice I need. He is the one I can count on not to see whenever I need help, and I know he will help me.

Importance of Father in Family

Father plays a vital role in the development of the family. He is actually considered the head of the family. However, I feel that fathers and mothers have a special role to play in raising their children. Although a mother is gentle, the father shows courage and strength to his children, who will later take him seriously. It may be difficult at times, but be sure to always benefit the children.

My father as a Source of Inspiration

I can proudly say that it was my father who inspired me from day one. In other words, his attitude and personality influenced me as a person. In the same way, he still has a great influence on the environment around his narrow paths. Dad spends his free time caring for the lost animals, which encourages me to do the same. All my knowledge in sports or cars comes from my father.

Conclusion:

There is no doubt that my father's role is important in my life. Your presence is important in maintaining equality and peace in my family. The father is the one who gets the bad daddy's badge and his denial of anything means a lot to the kids. I also respect my father and try to develop the qualities needed to be like him when I grow up.

Essay on Father's Day

Members of a family – the father, the mother, siblings – make an indispensable part of each other’s lives. For the children, we celebrate Children's Day. For the mothers, we celebrate Mothers’ Day, and for the fathers, we celebrate Father’s Day.

Across the world, father’s day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June every year. This day is marked by the family’s acknowledgement of the father’s sacrifices and support throughout the years. Below are sample essays on Fathers’ Day.

100 Word Essay On Fathers’ Day

Celebrated on the third Sunday of June of every year, Fathers’ Day is a day set aside to celebrate the contributions of a father in our lives. Fathers are the first male figure a child encounters. The epitome of strength and support, his sacrifices always get ignored in the face of our mothers’. My father is the kindest, yet the strongest, person I have ever met. He laughs with our family, guides us, and is always there to support us. I love spending time with my father. On every Father's day, I make him a card from scratch and make sure to let him know how important he is to me.

Essay on Father's Day

200 Word Essay On Fathers’s Day

It is a father and a mother who make a family, and though the mother’s sacrifices are always lauded, the father falls back in the shadows. Thus, every year on the third Sunday of June, the whole world comes together to pay respect to their fathers, acknowledging their huge roles in our lives.

My Father’s Role In My Life | My father has an equally indispensable role in my life. He is the strongest, kindest, and most jovial person I know. He has always stood like a pillar for me. Come what may, I know if I am going through a hard time, I can always reach up to my father. He has always been there through thick and thin, guiding me and making sure I develop into a strong, independent adult. To tell you a not-so-secret secret, I have always admired.

How I Celebrate | Every year on Fathers’ Day, I greet my father with a handmade card and we spend the day together chit-chatting and dining out. I have always loved these times. Getting to spend time with family is my favourite thing to do. Guess I get it from my father. I hope that someday I can adopt his ideals to the fullest and be like him.

500 Word Essay On Fathers’ Day

I was quite young when I discovered Fathers’ Day. I once found myself wondering that we always celebrate Mother’s day, but what about the father? This is probably the thought which had gone through the mind of Sonora Smart Dooh, who proposed the idea of celebrating father’s day for the first time. Usually, all around the world, mothers are the fore figures of nurturing and therefore, assume a higher status than a father. But fathers are no less indispensable. In fact, it is he who gives the family their much-needed support, guidance, and protection.

In order to acknowledge fathers for their years of sacrifice and contribution, the world comes together on the third Sunday of June to pay honour to their fathers. Different countries celebrate it on different days and depending on which country it is, the father’s day landscape can be pretty variant.

How The Idea Came

Now celebrated with great pomp and show, Fathers’ Day used to be a foreign concept to India. Allotting a day to acknowledge the role of a father in one’s life was unfathomable. This happened because India always had a tradition of recognising our parents’ contributions. From Ramayana to the Mahabharata to Vedas, every scripture talks about the ultimate respect for one’s own parents. But, as the country westernised, the concept was reduced to a single day and is now being credited to the West.

My Bond With My Father

Every year on the third Sunday of June, I greet my father with a handmade card. I work all night, just to see him smile his widest smile. At that moment, I can see how proud he is of me. It is always like this with Indian fathers. They never tell you how proud they are of you, but you’ll know if you observe enough.

His Best Qualities | My father is a typical father you’ll find in every Indian family. Nonetheless, he is all the more special to me. He is kind, compassionate, benevolent, and yet so strong. I have always admired him for his resilience, his ability to think clearly even in the worst situations, and for always making his family his priority.

My ‘Go-To’ Person | My father has always been a great pillar of support for me. Whenever I am stuck in a difficult situation, he sits me down and has a discussion with me till we reach a solution. Although on regular days, he is the well-organised disciplinarian who needs everything crisp, I know he is the person I can go to when the going gets tough.

Sacrificing His Own Dreams | My father has made immense sacrifices for the family. At times as much as my mother did, and at times more than her. Putting all his dreams and desires on the sideline so that his child and family can live the life of their dreams is probably the greatest thing my father did for us.

I aspire to be like him someday. Someday, when I grow up, I want to become a headstrong yet kind-hearted person like him. A person who can protect others and also cry with them. A person who can always put the needs of his family before his.

Essay on Father's Day

Father’s Day is a special day observed throughout the world to honor and appreciate the important role that fathers play in our lives. It is a time to thank them for their love, support, advice, and sacrifices. Father’s Day is a sincere tribute to the unsung heroes who have impacted our lives and helped us grow and develop.

Father’s Day can be traced back to the early twentieth century. The success of Mother’s Day, which had gained worldwide awareness, prompted the notion of dedicating a day to fathers. In 1909, Sonora Smart Dodd, a devout daughter from Spokane, Washington, established a day to honor fathers. She wished to convey her gratitude to her father, who had raised her and her siblings alone after their mother died. Dodd’s efforts were rewarded on June 19, 1910, when Spokane celebrated the inaugural Father’s Day.

Since then, Father’s Day has become an annual event celebrated on various dates around the world. It is observed on the third Sunday of June in most countries. On this day, children of all ages honor their fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and other paternal figures who have had an impact on their lives.

Father’s Day is about more than just exchanging gifts or greeting cards. It is an opportunity to focus on the immense impact that fathers make on the lives of their children. Fathers are the pillars of our families, offering stability, support, and strength. They act as role models, imparting in us vital values and life lessons, as well as a sense of duty and resilience.

The love of a father is generally silent and unselfish, manifested by his acts rather than his words. He works tirelessly to provide for his family, making sure their necessities are satisfied and their aspirations come true. Working long hours, forsaking personal ambitions, or making difficult decisions, fathers prioritize the well-being of their families over their own.

Fathers are equally important in developing their children’s personalities and guiding them through life’s problems. They are there to extend a helping hand, provide advice, and listen. The presence and involvement of a father in a child’s life benefit their emotional well-being and general development. He fosters a sense of comfort and belonging through instilling confidence, encouraging curiosity, and celebrating accomplishments.

Father’s Day is an occasion to recognize and appreciate these priceless contributions. It is a day to express our love and thanks, to say “thank you” for fathers’ constant support, innumerable sacrifices, and unconditional affection. It is a time to make memories that will last a lifetime and deepen the link between fathers and their children.

On Father’s Day, families gather to commemorate this momentous occasion. They may organize outings, cook special meals, or participate in activities that fathers like. It is a time for reminiscing , laughing, and creating new memories to cherish.

In addition to honoring individual fathers, Father’s Day recognizes and honors parenthood as a whole. It’s a chance to raise awareness about the value of involved and caring fathers in society. We may promote excellent parenting and urge fathers to remain actively involved in their children’s lives by emphasizing the importance of fatherhood.

Finally, Father’s Day is a moment to recognize and thank fathers for their enduring love, support, and dedication. It is a day to reflect on how much they have influenced our lives and to express gratitude for their sacrifices.

Let us cherish and celebrate our fathers throughout the year, not just on this special day, to recognize the vital role they play in molding our lives and the world around us.

So to respect all their efforts, Father’s Day is celebrated on 3rd Sunday of June every year throughout the world.

History of Father’s Day

The significance of Father’s Day is celebrated on the same day as this in Catholic Europe is because Saint Joseph is believed to be the father of Jesus Christ and husband of the Virgin Mary. In the year 1907, in December, the tragic Monongah Mining disaster took place. The incident led to the tragic death of 361 men, among which 250 had children of their own. Naturally, the terrible disaster left all of these 250 kids fatherless.

A woman named Grace Golden Clayton was mourning the death of her father during the same time, and she proposed to the government that father’s day should be celebrated in order to honour the death of all the unfortunate men who used to be fathers of those children. This was how the father’s day began to be celebrated in the USA, and worldwide.

A father is a person who is always there for your support when you turn back, ready with a solution to every sort of problem, who takes care of all your needs & keep encouraging you throughout your life.

Father is the pillar of strength of a family which keeps the bond strong in all happy & challenging moments in life. Everyone celebrates father’s day by making all the possible things to make the specific day unique for him. Let it be making cards, flowers or by performing something exclusively for him. This year I baked a cake for my father with the help of my mom & dedicated a song for him to let him know how important he is for me. I also spent the whole day with him, trying to help him in his work & responsibilities.

In the evening we also watched his favourite movie. Also, I promised myself that day that I will always try to keep him happy & will try to share his responsibilities from that day onwards. This father’s day was one of the memorable days for me. But we all need to remember that we can’t stop by celebrating it on one day, we need to have the care & love for him throughout our life. He is a person who makes us learn how to live life; his sacrifices for us are immense. We need to make every day memorable for him as he keeps doing for us.

500+ words essay on my father.

Essay on My Father: Usually, people talk about a mother’s love and affection, in which a father’s love often gets ignored. A mother’s love is talked about repeatedly everywhere, in movies, in shows and more. Yet, what we fail to acknowledge is the strength of a father which often goes unnoticed. Father’s a blessing which not many people have in their lives. It would also be wrong to say that every father is the ideal hero for their kids because that is not the case. However, I can vouch for my father without any second thoughts when it comes to being an ideal person.

essay on my father

My Father is Different!

As everyone likes to believe that their father is different, so do I. Nonetheless, this conviction is not merely based on the love I have for him, but also because of his personality. My father owns a business and is quite disciplined in all aspects of life. He is the one who taught me to always practice discipline no matter what work I do.

Most importantly, he has a jovial nature and always makes my mother laugh with his silly antics even after 27 years of marriage. I completely adore this silly side of him when he is with his loved ones. He tries his best to fulfill all our wishes but also maintains the strictness when the need arises.

One of the best things I love about my father is that he has always kept a very safe and open home environment. For instance, my siblings and I can talk about anything with him without the fear of being scolded or judged. This has helped us not to lie, which I have often noticed with my friends.

In addition, my father has an undying love for animals which makes him very sympathetic towards them. He practices his religion devotedly and is very charitable too. I have never seen my father misbehave with his elders in my entire life which makes me want to be like him even more.

My Father is My Source of Inspiration

I can proudly say that it is my father who has been my source of inspiration from day one. In other words, his perspective and personality together have shaped me as a person. Similarly, he has a great impact on the world as well in his own little ways. He devotes his free time in taking care of stray animals which inspires me to do the same.

My father has taught me the meaning of love in the form of a rose he gifts to my mother daily without fail. This consistency and affection encourage all of us to treat them the same way. All my knowledge of sports and cars, I have derived from my father. It is one of the sole reasons why I aspire to be a cricket player in the future.

To sum it up, I believe that my father has it all what it takes to be called a real-life superhero. The way he manages things professionally and personally leaves me mesmerized every time. No matter how tough the times got, I watched my father become tougher. I certainly aspire to become like my father. If I could just inherit ten percent of what he is, I believe my life will be sorted.

Fatherhood is not just about biological connections but about the bonds of love, care, and devotion. It is about being present, listening, and being a positive influence in a child's life. Fathers are the ones who cheer us on, pick us up when we fall, and teach us to never give up.

So, let us take a moment to express our gratitude to all the fathers and father figures who have made a difference in our lives. Let us acknowledge their sacrifices, their tireless efforts, and their unwavering commitment to our well-being.

Father’s Day 2023: Long Speech

Ladies and Gentlemen honoured guests, and most importantly, dear fathers,

Today, we gather here to celebrate the incredible role that fathers play in our lives. Father's Day is a special occasion when we take a moment to express our love, gratitude, and appreciation for the remarkable men who have touched our lives and shaped us into the individuals we are today.

First and foremost, I want to address all the fathers present here. Each one of you deserves recognition and praise for the tireless efforts you put forth to care for and nurture your families. Your role as a father goes beyond providing for our physical needs; it extends to emotional support, guidance, and being a pillar of strength. You are the ones who teach us life's most valuable lessons, who inspire us to dream big and reach for the stars, and who instil within us the values of love, compassion, and resilience.

Also, I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to my own father. Dad, you have been my guiding light and my unwavering support throughout my life's journey. You have always been there, whether it was to cheer me on in my accomplishments or to lend a comforting shoulder during moments of failure. Your love has been my foundation, and your wisdom has shaped my character. You have taught me the importance of hard work, integrity, and the value of family. I am forever grateful for your presence in my life.

But let's not forget that being a father is not limited to a biological relationship. Father figures come in many forms—a stepfather, an adoptive father, a mentor, or even an older sibling. To all the individuals who have embraced the role of a father and have selflessly devoted themselves to the well-being of others, we salute you. Your impact may sometimes go unnoticed, but your influence is immeasurable, and your love is boundless.

On this special day, remember those fathers who are no longer with us. Their legacy lives on through the memories we cherish and the values they imparted to us. Their love continues to guide us, and they remain forever in our hearts.

To all the children present here today, let us make a pledge to honour our fathers not just on this designated day but every day of our lives. Let us appreciate their sacrifices, acknowledge their unconditional love, and let them know how much they mean to us. It is often easy to take their presence for granted, but let us not wait until it's too late to express our love and gratitude.

Happy Father's Day! May we continue to cherish and honor the fathers in our lives, not just today, but every day. Thank you.

Essay on Father’s Day in English

Essay on Father's Day in English

Introduction:

Father’s Day is a special occasion dedicated to honoring and celebrating fathers, father figures, and the paternal bonds that shape our lives. This day, typically observed on the third Sunday of June in many countries, serves as an opportunity to express gratitude, love, and appreciation for the important role that fathers play in the lives of their children and families. While Mother’s Day has been celebrated for centuries, Father’s Day emerged more recently in the early 20th century, gaining recognition and significance over time. In this essay, we will explore the history of Father’s Day, its cultural importance, and the significance of fathers in the modern family dynamic.

Essay on Father's Day in English

History of Father’s Day:

The origins of Father’s Day can be traced back to the early 20th century, inspired by the success of Mother’s Day. The first known Father’s Day was celebrated in the United States on June 19, 1910, in Spokane, Washington , thanks to the efforts of Sonora Smart Dodd . Dodd, inspired by the love and sacrifices her father made in raising six children as a single parent, wanted to create a day to honor fathers. After gaining support from local churches, the idea gained momentum.

Despite initial enthusiasm, it took several decades for Father’s Day to be officially recognized. In 1972, President Richard Nixon signed a proclamation, making Father’s Day a nationwide observance in the United States. Today, the celebration of Father’s Day has spread globally, with various countries adopting their own traditions and customs to honor fathers. Essay on Father’s Day in English

Cultural Significance of Father’s Day:

Father’s Day holds cultural significance that extends beyond mere gift-giving. It is a day to reflect on the influence fathers have on their children’s lives and the broader community. Fathers serve as pillars of support, guidance, and love, contributing to the emotional and psychological development of their children. The cultural importance of Father’s Day lies in acknowledging and appreciating the multifaceted roles fathers play in family life.

One of the key aspects of Father’s Day is the expression of gratitude. Children and family members take this opportunity to thank their fathers for the sacrifices they’ve made, the lessons they’ve imparted, and the unwavering support they’ve provided. This expression of gratitude strengthens the bond between fathers and their children, fostering a sense of appreciation and acknowledgment for the often unspoken efforts that fathers put into their roles.

Furthermore, Father’s Day encourages positive role modeling. Fathers, as figures of authority and influence, set examples for their children. Whether it’s teaching values, instilling a strong work ethic, or demonstrating resilience in the face of challenges, fathers play a crucial role in shaping the character and values of the next generation. Father’s Day serves as a reminder of the impact that positive role models can have on the development of individuals and society at large.

The Changing Role of Fathers:

Over the years, the role of fathers within the family dynamic has evolved significantly. Traditionally viewed as the primary breadwinners and disciplinarians, fathers are now recognized as active participants in child-rearing, emotional support, and household responsibilities. The changing societal landscape, including shifts in gender roles and expectations, has contributed to a more egalitarian approach to parenting.

Modern fathers are increasingly involved in the day-to-day lives of their children. They participate in parenting decisions, engage in activities that promote emotional bonding, and actively contribute to the overall well-being of the family. This shift in the role of fathers reflects a more balanced and shared approach to parenting, where both mothers and fathers contribute to the upbringing of their children.

Fatherhood in the 21st Century:

In the 21st century, fathers are navigating a complex and dynamic landscape. The traditional roles of provider and protector remain important, but there is a growing emphasis on emotional availability and involvement in the nurturing aspects of parenting. Fathers today are encouraged to be actively engaged in their children’s lives, fostering strong emotional connections and serving as positive role models.

The importance of involved fatherhood goes beyond the family unit. Research consistently shows that children with actively engaged fathers experience numerous benefits, including improved academic performance, enhanced social skills, and greater emotional resilience. The positive impact of fathers extends to societal well-being, contributing to the development of responsible, well-adjusted individuals who are equipped to contribute positively to their communities.

Challenges Faced by Fathers:

While the evolving role of fathers is positive, it comes with its own set of challenges. Balancing work responsibilities, family obligations, and personal well-being can be demanding for fathers. Societal expectations and stereotypes regarding masculinity and fatherhood can create pressure, making it difficult for some fathers to express vulnerability or seek support when needed.

Work-life balance is a common challenge faced by many fathers. The demands of a career, coupled with the desire to be present for family moments, can create a delicate juggling act. Employers and societal norms are gradually recognizing the importance of flexible work arrangements and supportive policies to help fathers navigate their dual roles.

Essay on Father's Day in English

Additionally, fathers may face challenges in breaking free from traditional stereotypes that dictate their role as stoic providers. Embracing vulnerability, expressing emotions, and actively participating in the nurturing aspects of parenting are crucial components of modern fatherhood. Overcoming societal expectations and embracing a more inclusive definition of fatherhood is an ongoing process that benefits both fathers and their families.

Conclusion:

Father’s Day serves as an annual reminder of the importance of fathers and the contributions they make to the lives of their children. Beyond the traditional roles of provider and protector, fathers today are actively engaged in parenting, contributing to the emotional , social, and academic development of their children. The celebration of Father’s Day is a reflection of the evolving dynamics of fatherhood and the positive impact that engaged fathers have on individuals and society.

As we celebrate Father’s Day, let us not only express our gratitude through gifts and gestures but also take the time to reflect on the significance of fathers in shaping the future. It is an opportunity to celebrate the diversity of fatherhood, acknowledge the challenges faced by fathers, and work towards creating a supportive environment that allows all fathers to thrive in their roles. In doing so, we honor the timeless bond between fathers and their children, recognizing the profound impact that involved and loving fathers have on the well-being of families and communities .

English Essay, Paragraph on “Father’s Day” Essay in 200 words for class 8, 9, 10, and 12 Students.

Father’s day.

It was Father’s Day. Melissa and her brother, Mark, woke up very early as they had some plans to carry out. First, they took out the card and present that they had prepared for their father and placed it on the dining table. Then they went to the kitchen and began to prepare breakfast for their father. They made toast, fried eggs and a cup of coffee for their father. They placed everything nicely on a tray with a stalk of flower.

When their father awoke, Melissa brought him the tray of breakfast while Mark handed the card and present to him. Their father was surprised and pleased. He thanked them for their hard work and kind thoughts. He ate the breakfast and said that it was delicious. Both Melissa and Mark were very proud.

Their mother said that she would be preparing a special lunch for their father too. The children and their father proceeded to the living room where their father began to sing songs using his karaoke set. Their mother started by baking a cake.

As Melissa and Mark were not good at singing, they decided to have a game of Monopoly. They played quietly as they did not want to disturb their father’s singing. After a few songs, their father joined them on the game. They had a good time.

A few hours passed and soon, their mother called them to the dining table. Both children helped to set up the table before inviting their father over for his special lunch. They sat down and tucked in. It was delicious! Melissa’s father thanked all of them for making that special day so wonderful!
