Sind Sie auf der Suche nach einer Chance oder einer neuen Herausforderung in der klinischen Forschung? Möchten Sie für ein branchenführendes Unternehmen arbeiten? IQVIA sucht derzeit nach einem/r Studienassistenten/in / Koorinatoren/in, die/der am Standort in Berlin die Durchführung einer klinischen Studie unterstützt.

Diese Teilzeitstelle (20 Stunden pro Woche) mit Start Anfang/Mitte Mai ist für ca. 18 Monate zu besetzen.

Zu den täglichen Aufgaben gehören:

• Koordinierung klinischer Forschungsstudien und Aufrechterhaltung eines sicheren Studienumfelds gemäß den Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsrichtlinien unter der Leitung und Delegation des Principal Investigators
• Sicherstellung des Wohlergehens der Probanden, Vertretung der Freiwilligen und Eingehen auf deren Belange bei gleichzeitiger Gewährleistung der höchsten Qualität der Pflege
• Betreuung der Probanden und Unterstützung des Personals bei administrativen Aufgaben
• Pflege von Studienprotokollen, Fallberichtsformularen (CRFs), elektronischen Datenerfassungssystemen (EDC) und anderen Studiendokumenten auf dem neuesten Stand
• Planung und Koordinierung der logistischen Aktivitäten für Studienverfahren gemäß dem Studienprotokoll
• Durchführung der klinischen Vorbereitungen für die Studie, einschließlich der Beschriftung von Probenentnahmeröhrchen und -behältern, der Inventarisierung des erforderlichen Materials und der Einrichtung oder Behebung von Problemen mit der Ausrüstung und/oder der Studie
• Mithilfe bei der Dateneingabe, der Überprüfung der Datenqualität und der Beantwortung von Fragen, um die Einhaltung des Studienprotokolls und die Qualitätskontrolle auf inhaltliche Richtigkeit und Vollständigkeit sicherzustellen
• Unterstützung bei der Aufnahme von Probanden in die Studie durch Rekrutierung, Screening und Einweisung gemäß dem Studienprotokoll
• Sammeln, Erfassen und Berichten klinischer Daten und Befunde in angemessener Weise in CRFs und Zusammenarbeit mit dem Prüfarzt über studienbezogene unerwünschte Ereignisse und schwerwiegende unerwünschte Ereignisse gemäß dem Studienprotokoll
• Koordinierung mit dem Studienmonitor bei Studienproblemen und effektive Beantwortung der vom Monitor gestellten Fragen.

Wir suchen Kandidaten mit den folgenden Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen:

• Mindestens ein Jahr einschlägige Erfahrung; oder eine gleichwertige Kombination aus medizinischer Ausbildung, Schulung und Erfahrung 
• Kenntnisse über klinische Studien, kombiniert mit fundierten Kenntnissen der abteilungs-, protokoll- und studienspezifischen Arbeitsabläufe, Einverständniserklärungen und Studienpläne
• Ausgeprägte IT-Kenntnisse, geübt im Umgang mit MS Windows und Office-Anwendungen wie Access, Outlook, Excel und Word
• Ausgezeichnete zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten mit der Fähigkeit, effektive Arbeitsbeziehungen aufzubauen und zu pflegen

The DDGLC is a long-term project funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft and hosted by the Freie Universität Berlin. The project aims at a systematic, comprehensive and detailed lexicographical compilation and description of Greek loanwords as attested in the entire Coptic corpus through all dialects and sorts of text. Its intended outcome shall be the production of an online searchable database and of a dictionary.

Job description:

Lexicographical indexing of Greek words in Coptic texts with lemmatization, translation, and grammatical analysis; Minor administrative tasks for the project. Within the framework of the project a doctorate in the field of Greek and Coptic philology can be pursued.

Requirements:

Applicants hold an excellent degree (M.A.) in Classical Studies, Coptology, Early Christian Studies, Egyptology, Linguistics, or related disciplines.

Profound skills in Coptic and a sound knowledge of (Classical or Koine) Greek are preconditions. Good skills in spoken and written English are likewise expected. Previous experience in fields of linguistics such as contact linguistics, lexicology or linguistic typology), and/or IT resp. Digital Humanities would be an advantage. Applicants will be expected to stay at Berlin and to have the intention to work on a PhD in the field of Coptic philology or linguistics.

The SPP 1833 "Building a habitable Earth" seeks to improve our understanding on how Earth became the only known habitable planet, and offers a unique environment and infrastructure for the training of early career researchers studying topics related to the evolution of the early Earth ( http://www.habitableearth.uni-koeln.de ).

We aim to elucidate the early Archean sulfur cycle to place constraints on early Archean geodynamic processes by using sulfur stable isotopes. The PhD work within the project involves detailed petrography, electron microprobe, wet chemical lab work, gas mass spectrometry and secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) analyses.

Diploma/M.Sc. in geosciences or a related field.

Working field:

• Participation in a research project with focus on process automation in industry 4.0, where the existing technologies of the project partner are prepared and adapted for future applications. The work and research is based on a process management software that uses BPMN-based models to control and monitor tasks for devices and workers.
• Analysis of existing procedures and protocols; development and evaluation of new concepts, data structures and vocabularies for seamless integration from product development to production.
• Mentoring of student workers and student theses within the research project
