Instructions for students.
1. Student should reach examination hall at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time. No additional time shall be given to Student arriving late.
2. Students must be in uniform. In case, he/she is not in uniform will not be allowed to sit in the paper. Any delay, due to inform, will not be entertained.
3. Student must display UNIVERSITY ID CARD and CNIC.
4. Student must display Admit Card on Examination Hall entrance.
5. DON'T BRING YOUR MOBILE PHONE AND ANY OTHER UNAUTHORIZED ELECTRONIC GADGETS!
6. If you bring it to an exam, you should be aware of the following:
i. The University accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to your belongings.
ii. On finding any of the unauthorized electronic gadgets, can lead the Student to Unfair Means Case.
7. Bring your own paper clipboard.
8. Student must maintain complete silence in the examination hall. If a Student has any kind of query he/she should raise his/her hand and wait for the invigilator.
9. Lending/borrowing of pen, pencil, ruler, calculator, etc. is strictly prohibited in the examination room.
10. No rough work is to be done on the question paper.
11. Student must mark his/her attendance on the attendance sheet during the examinations. In case, his/her name is not listed, they need to report to an invigilator immediately.
12. Student found cheating, chatting or gesturing in the examination room shall be dealt with under the university rules.
13. Any Student using obscene language or misbehaving with exam staff shall be dealt with under disciplinary rules.
14. Student cannot leave the examination room without prior permission of the invigilator.
15. In case of open book/open notes exams, Student must follow instructions given on the front page by the resource person and should not indulge themselves in conversation with one another.
16. An attempt to gain access to a question paper before the examinations shall be dealt under the university rules.
Note: If your allocation is missing in any course, please inform any member of Exam Committee in person or email to [email protected] with date of exam, course name, course section no. and your SAP_ID., on or before Tuesday, 13 June, 2023.

In the absence of specialized encryption hardware,cryptographic operations must be performed in main memory.As such,it is common place for cyber criminals to examine the content of main memory with a view to retrieving high-value data in plaintext form and/or the associated decryption key.In this paper,the author presents a number of simple methods for identifying and extracting cryptographic keys from memory dumps of software applications that utilize the Microsoft .NET Framework,as well as sourcecode level countermeasures to protect against same.Given the EXE file of an application and a basic knowledge of the cryptographic libraries utilized in the .NET Framework,the author shows how to create a memory dump of a running application and how to extract cryptographic keys from same using WinDBG - without any prior knowledge of the cryptographic key utilized.Whilst the proof-of-concept application utilized as part of this paper uses an implementation of the DES cipher,it should be no...
