How to Do Homework in The Sims 4 — Pass Your Academics

In The Sims 4, you can experience the life you’ve always wanted. As long as that life includes completing homework for your child and / or teen sims. If you want to make doubly sure your offspring are on the fast-track for success, you’ll want to make triply sure they’re completing their weekly homework.

How to Do Homework in The Sims 4

So, you’re the proud parent of a little simlish bundle of joy … or two … or three . Each weekday — Monday to Friday — your child or teen sim will have homework after school. You’ll find it in their inventory, and if you select it from there, it will give you the option to complete the homework.

It is also an option to have an adult help them with their homework by clicking on the adult, selecting the child or teen sim, and then clicking on the HELP WITH HOMEWORK option. Either of these options will help to preserve their school performance and give them a wealth of knowledge and experience.

How do you take your final exam in The Sims 4?

If you have an adult sim taking university courses, you can have them take the final exam by attending the last day of class. It should be noted, however, that it appears a bug exists that prevents players from having their sim take the final exam. The Sims 4's Discover University Expansion Pack added new hobbies, skills, and careers alongside that all-important shiny new set of cheats in the game to dive into - so here's how to use them all.

In the table below, you'll see cheats for both 'BA' and 'BS'. BA is for Britechester University and BS is for Foxbury Institute .

The types of degrees available are degrees, degrees with honours, distinguished degrees, and distinguished degrees with honours - the latter of which is indicated by 'Honors' at the end of the code.

Discover University introduced two new skills to the game, robotics and research and debate skills.

To cheat these to their max levels, you'll need the following codes:

All you'll need to change about these codes when entering them in-game is to replace the 'X' with the number of the level you wish your Sim to reach. For example, you could do 'stats.set_skill_level Major_ResearchDebate 3' if you just want to give them a little headstart in the skill.

Career cheats for Discover University

Five new careers arrived in Discover University, with some being perfect for your post grads, and others being more suited to Sims during their studying days. You can promote your Sims that have been assigned these careers in a jiffy with the following codes:

When you think of gaming, homework probably is the furthest thing from your mind– but in the Sims 4, knowing how to do homework is the key to becoming a successful student, integral with the parenting skill, and impacts your Sims’ life in a few ways.

One thing’s for certain: whether you’re trying to raise a family, or cramming study sessions in between dorm parties, knowing how to do homework is a must in the Sims 4– and there’s more to it than you might think. Consider this your guide to homework, and all things related, in the Sims 4.

Homework in Sims: A Brief History

Homework has been signature gameplay in the Sims franchise. As a life simulator, it only makes sense that, just like players have to contend with paying bills, cleaning dirty dishes, and juggling careers with relationships, parenting, and everyday life. And it’s actually rather interesting to see how doing homework in the Sims has been important from generation to generation, but also evolved.

Here’s a Sparknotes version of the history of homework in the Sims franchise.

Homework was not a mainstay of the original Sims game, but it was in the Sims 2. In the Sims 2, homework was important for teens, kids, and the then-new young adult life stage.

Children and Teens

A child and teen in the Sims 2 were required to go to school (with options for both public and private). Homework was generated daily. After the bus brought the kid home, that child Sim would have a physical copy of homework in their hand. Normally, homework would be set on a desk or nearby surface, though I remember many times it would just as often be placed on the ground. Completing homework had a direct effect on the Sims’ grades. Every day without incomplete homework resulted in a deduction.

A teen’s homework was a duller color, compared with the bright hues of a kid’s homework. If a Sims’ needs were not met, then they would likely not finish homework. When a Sim aged up, their homework automatically disappeared.

There were a few basic interactions for children and teens with homework in the Sims 2.

• Work on Homework
• Complete Homework
• Ask for Homework Help — this could be asked of any older Sim, and not only helped Sims complete homework more quickly, but also allowed them to complete homework more efficiently in the future.

Young Adults

Young adults were introduced in the Sims 2 University expansion pack, and have since become perhaps the most popular life stage in the Sims franchise. In the Sims 2, this life stage was limited to the University expansion. These young adults worked on assignments in order to influence their grades. It worked in a similar way as with kids and teens, though in addition to homework, they also had exams to deal with.

Sims 3 continued the homework system from Sims 2, making it clear that doing homework would become an expected gameplay feature in the Sims franchise. In many ways, Sims 3 kept the same basic systems for homework intact but enhanced it through new traits, packs, and an updated interface.

School, again, was mandatory for children in the Sims 3 , with a new boarding school option for no private school. If a Sim was sent to boarding school, there was nothing that you needed to worry about in terms of completing homework. Otherwise, it worked more or less the same way: new homework was generated and had to be completed for every school day.

New features included:

• The ability to do homework with a Sim of the same age
• The ability to copy homework (which could send them to detention)
• Ability to work on past due homework
• Enhanced homework completion with the workaholic and bookworm traits or if your Sim was a vampire (Sims 3: Supernatural expansion)
• Homework became a hidden skill
• Sims with an A average could select their new trait when they became a teen or young adult
• Grades listed in the new Simology panel

Young Adults (and Adults)

Sims who opted to attend college (via the Sims 3: University Life expansion pack), of course, had homework of their own. Homework, or assignments, were fairly similar to Sims 2, and, like Sims 2, the grades were determined by other factors like exams, but also somewhat how they behaved in their seminars, as well as outside projects.

Homework in the Sims 4- Your Guide

If you’ve played previous Sims games, the good news is that homework in the Sims 4 isn’t too different from previous Sims games. But like each generation, there are different tricks and tips you need to keep in mind to be successful, whether you are just looking to complete homework to help teens pass high school, or your Sims are tackling on a degree at the University of Britechester or Foxbury Institute of Technology.

Here’s what I think you need to know.

Children are required to go to school, and Sims 4 does arguably take a step back in that public school is the only option for children and teens.

Getting to School

In a curious move, Sims 4 does not have any transportation that picks Sims up. In fact, the lack of even cars in the game has been a source of contention. In any case, a school bus won’t pick up children or teens, nor can you watch them make their way to school, as you could in the Sims 3. Instead, children and teens will either automatically transport themselves to school, or you can prompt them.

Decisions During School

Especially if you have Sims 4 Parenthood game pack, you can influence teen and child Sims’ days at school, at least a little. Pop-ups may occasionally come up where you are given a scenario, just as another kid caught cheating, or your Sim being teased. Some of these will impact your Sim’s mood and social life. Sometimes, a child or teen will also ask for advice, which is tied to Sims 4 Parenthood parenting skills.

Locating Homework

As was the case with Sims 2, there is a small distinction in the appearance of children and teens’ homework. Children Sim will have a yellow Grade School Handbook, which, when not being worked on, is typically in their inventory. Teen homework is a blue notebook.

If you’re like me, though, sometimes homework gets lost in the house. If that happens you can actually purchase homework from a bookcase for a single simoleon. And unlike in the Sims 2, homework isn’t assigned to one Sim in particular, meaning a kid can complete their homework even if it wasn’t their original copy.

How to Do/ Complete Homework

To work on homework, simply drag it out of your Sims’ inventory and click on it for the “Do Homework” option. You can have your Sim to do homework all at once, or pick it back up after taking care of their needs. Remember, your teen or child Sim will be assigned homework every school day, with no new homework on weekends.

Homework and Grade Performance

Knowing how to do homework in Sims 4 is helpful for grade performance, but it also isn’t the only factor. In fact, by building skills, working on projects, and even keeping your Sims in a good mood, you can remain a fairly good student even when you skip homework from time to time.

Sims that are at a B or A average also will have access to the “Do Extra Credit” option. This pops up after they complete their homework for the day and you select their homework a second time (homework doesn’t disappear after being completed like previous Sims games). Extra credit is a chance to boost your Sims’ grades even more.

School Projects

School Projects are a unique feature exclusive to the Sims 4: Parenthood game pack. Available to teens and children, Sims can both work on their own projects and assist others. Working on a project builds all child skills at once.

Unlike homework, there is no official deadline for school projects so there aren’t penalties for however long it takes. Once a project is completed, the student can start on a new one. Adults can help both teens and kids; kids can be helped by teens/.

You’ll be able to select from one of seven projects, all available for purchase on build mode. The completed project will be rated as excellent, good, or poor. Siblings may get upset with one another if their project is destroyed by a brother or sister.

How to Do Homework Faster

I admit; sometimes I get impatient with doing homework in Sims 4, especially if I have other plans for the family. The good news is that, if you work on your Sims’ skills, you can speed up the process for children.

You’ll need to work equally on the four major skills for Sim Children: creativity; mental; motor; social; and mental. Level 3 of all of these allows you to “Breeze through Homework” while level 7 allows them to “Dominate Homework”.

For teens, your only real option is installing a mod (which I will discuss later).

University Students

Young adult and adult Sims can attend one of two campuses if you have the The Sims 4: Discovery University expansion pack installed. Homework, as you might imagine, is part of the equation–but the homework system looks different for adult and young adult Sims than it does for younger Sims, which impacts how you should do homework.

Getting Accepted

I won’t go into a full guide to the Discover University pack, but, in a nutshell, you Sim will have to first apply using a computer. Based upon their previous grades, skill set, and some other factors, they will either be offered or denied admission to the program of their choice at the University of Britechester of Foxbury Institute of Technology.

There is also the opportunity to gain scholarships and take out loans to finance their education. In my experience, most get accepted to school but may be limited to pursuing an honorary degree. Humanities-based degrees at Britechester, like English Literature, are honorary, while if you want a science or technology degree with distinction your Sim should attend the more modern Foxbury.

Homework Load at University

Homework is a part of the university experience in Sims 4, and doing it will help your Sims’ performance. Homework appears in their inventory (as a black and white book) and is meant to be completed before every class. You can also purchase homework from a bookshelf or the college’s kiosk (found out on the quad).

Classes are usually in the form of seminars and do not last all day, but your Sim, depending on your enrollment decisions, will likely have at least two classes per day, meaning you’ll have to juggle multiple assignments.

Other Types of Homework

In addition to doing daily homework, Sims need to attend class regularly. You’ll also be working towards end of the semester exams, final projects, and term papers, depending on the class. Doing homework daily is helpful in keeping their grade average high, and putting a little less pressure on a term paper. It is possible to flunk out of college, so doing homework on a regular basis and attending classes is a must.

How to Make Homework Easier

Knowing how to do homework doesn’t cut it, though. Between classes, roommates, parties, extracurriculars, and just taking care of basic needs, if you’re like me, you’ll want to tip things in your Sims’ favor a little. Here are some tips

• Work on skills related to their major, or current classes
• Keep your Sim in a good mood by keeping needs in check
• Decorate your space with objects that exude a “Focused” mood (you can see this if you hover over objects in buy mode)
• Lock your dorm room to other Sims when studying
• Work on the Research and Debate skills
• Study in the library or another place if your roommate is partying
• Live off-campus and apply the “Study Spot” lot traits

Using Mods for Better Homework

If you know how to do homework in the Sims 4 but want it to run more smoothly, another option is to download a mod. I always caution that mods are at your own risk, and they can break, so make sure you check to see that the mod has been updated and that you’re downloading from a secure site.

Better Autonomous Homework by LittleMsSam

This mod fixes what many saw as a deficit in the Sims 4 homework system, by making sure that child Sims will do their homework without your prompting. Now and Sim with an A, B, or C average won’t require you to direct them to do their homework, at least initially.

Subject Homework adds a little nuance and potential storytelling element for how to do homework for teens and kids in the Sims 4, all the while improving skills. Children will now be able to practice vocabulary (improves motor skill); review social studies (increases social skill) and do math problems (improves mental skill).

Teens can now solve algebra problems (increases logic skill); write a fitness article (raises fitness skill); practice creative writing (increases writing skill); and study music theory (improve the guitar skill).

In The Sims 4 ’s new expansion, High School Years , your teen Sims can head out to school the same way some Sims head to work. You can go with them to control what they do throughout the school day, affecting their relationships and academic growth.

Notably, in the career tab for the teen Sim, you’ll see that they have a daily task to “do homework” after every school day (as you’d expect from school). Though homework for young Sims is not a new addition, it can be new for players who never had teenage Sims.

The homework your teen Sim has to do will be in their personal inventory , as a little blue book. You can select it and click “do homework” and your teen Sim will move to a nearby table to do it.

Based on our gameplay, not doing homework didn’t do anything too dramatic to the Sims’ school performances. As long as your teen Sim is attending class, they’ll progress in their career just fine. However, if you want them to improve their grades faster, they should actively be doing their homework.

Fans should now simply select that book and click on the "do homework" button to cause the Sim to move to a table and begin their studies.

Homework is nothing new to the Sims franchise. The game capitalizes on real-world chores, like doing the dishes, parenting children, paying bills, going to work, and juggling each life stage. The homework system evolved throughout Sims 2 and 3 to reach the level it’s at now, which we discuss in more detail below.

Kids Must Go to School

The game requires all child Sims to attend school. In previous games, you could choose the type of grade school your children and teens attended, though now public school is your only option. Fortunately, you can influence their mood and social life during the school day by helping them make decisions about social dilemmas.

For example, you might receive a notification about another child Sim cheating on a test or bullying the younger Sims. Parenting your Sim through these scenarios directly impacts their personality.

Adults Can Choose To Attend University

Young adult Sims can choose to further their education by attending a university. You can pick between two schools with the Discover University Expansion pack. Before attending, your Sims must apply, as real university students would.

The two university options, the University of Britechester or the Foxbury Institute of Technology, will analyze your Sim’s skills and grades before offering an acceptance or denial letter. You can also apply for scholarships and loans to help finance your Sim’s education. Once they attend school, they can choose a different degree like literature, electronic arts, science, technology, etc.

Every adult Sim attending a university must complete homework, just like the child Sims do, though they usually spend less time each day in class. University students must balance term papers, daily homework, extra credit, and exams while attending classes. Helping your older Sim stay on track with their university homework prevents them from failing the semester.

You Don’t Need to Worry About School Transportation

You’ll notice that Sims 4 doesn’t have a school bus or any other transportation system to get your child or teen Sims to school. Luckily, you don’t need to worry about walking them or watching them arrive. In Sims 4, all students automatically teleport to the necessary classroom at the appropriate times.

Locating Homework Gets Complicated

Keeping track of all the homework in the Sims 4 universe isn’t easy. Each student’s age group receives different homework books, so it’s important to keep them organized. The following key outlines each Sim’s homework book color by age:

• Children: Yellow Grade School Handbook and orange homework book
• Teen’s homework: Blue homework book
• Adults: Black and white book (found in the Sims inventory)

You can purchase books and copies if your Sim loses the original version. We also recommend getting a bookcase to organize all homework books in your house. Adult students can purchase books and homework from the University Kiosk.

How To Do Homework: Sims 4

Now that you understand how homework functions, let’s discuss how to help your Sims family dominate homework. School work is a necessary evil in the game because Sims’ grades suffer when they skip homework or turn in incomplete homework.

Completing Homework for Sims 4 Kids

When your child Sim comes home from school, they’ll bring an orange book in their backpack with all their homework. You must have them complete homework before the next school day. Follow these instructions:

• Open the Sim’s inventory for your younger Sims.
• Click “Do homework.”
• Aid them with any needs as they work.
• Send an adult Sim to help with the child’s homework.
• Click “help with homework” from the adult Sim’s inventory.
• Increase child “skills” levels to complete homework faster (like the research and debate skill).
• Once finished, have the Sim complete extra credit to boost homework grades.

Note that whenever you leave a Sim to do homework, they will continue working until finished unless they need something. Keep an eye on event triggers and low needs to ensure that your Sim child or teen continues working hard.

Helping Sim Teens Dominate Homework

Teenaged Sims complete regular homework just like the younger Sims. Once they’re home from school, open up the inventory menu and select the option to work on class homework. You can make one of your other Sims offer homework help to complete the process more quickly by following the same instructions above.

If your teen Sim has a B in the class, they can choose to do extra credit as well to boost their grades. Helping your teen Sim get an A improves their odds of getting accepted into a university.

We also recommend getting earbuds from the Fitness Stuff Pack to let your teens listen to music while they do homework. Sometimes grueling school hours can decrease fun levels, but music helps keep energy high.

Completing School Projects

Aside from regular homework, sometimes your family members bring home school projects. In Sims 4: Parenthood, you’ll likely see a school project at least once weekly.

Unlike homework, projects are semi-optional. If your Sim completes the work, their grade goes up, but if they don’t finish it in a few days, their grade will only go down a small amount.

You can have your Sims complete projects just as they do homework. The new homework project appears in the inventory, where you can prompt your Sim to begin working on it. You have two options to choose from when they do homework for a school project:

• Sloppy : Letting your Sim do homework sloppily completes the project faster, though it offers smaller grade increases.
• Careful : When Sims work carefully on a project, they boost their grades more and gain certain skills, depending on the project type. Child Sims might gain creativity or building skills while teens can acquire more specific ones like painting or rocket science skills.

To make the homework project fly by, you can have up to three Sims work on it together, including adults. We recommend assigning an adult with more advanced skills to help move things along. Once completed, any child Sims will receive improved responsibility character value scores.

Completing Adult Sim University Work

If you sign up for the University Expansion, you have the fun opportunity of sending your adult Sims to college. University homework is more advanced since it requires your Sims to do homework for multiple classes at once. Rather than doing one homework assignment daily, each Sim might need to complete two or three to prepare for classes the next day.

When you’re ready to have your Sim do homework, click on the specific homework book for the class you want them to work on. Remember, university books are black and white. After selecting the appropriate class, your Sim can work on their homework for as long as you choose.

Adult Sims with strong research and debate skill levels enjoy rapid homework completion rates. We recommend helping your Sims improve their debate skills to finish homework quickly.

Before you can use most of these cheats codes you are going to need to first enable cheats and learn how to open the cheat dialogue box.

To open the cheat box you want to hit ctrl + shift + c on your keyboard, or press all 4 triggers on console. This will open a white box at the top of your screen where you can type in cheat codes. You then need to enable cheats by typing in testingcheats true and hitting enter. If it works, the game will let you know by saying cheats are enabled.

A lot of sims 4 cheats don’t work unless you enable cheats first, so it’s best to just enable them before using any cheats to ensure that they are working properly. If you need to close the box you’ll just want to hit ctrl + shift + c again.

How to Enable Sims 4 Cheats on Console

When you are playing The Sims 4 on either Xbox or Playstation, you also have access to cheats. In order to enable cheats for a console player you need to hold down all four triggers on your controller until a small, thin white box appears in the top left hand corner where you will input your cheats.

Free Real Estate

The free real estate cheat is used when you’re either moving a family into a home for the first time or in the menu to move a family from one home to another . When you’re in the neighbourhood screen and the game would like for you to choose a house you’ll want to go ahead and open the cheat box and type in freerealestate on .

The game should let you know that free real estate is on and you’ll be free to choose any house you want your family to live in regardless of price. Your family will keep every simoleon that they have in their family funds and get to move in completely for free.

Money X (Family Funds Cheat)

In The Sims 3 there was a family funds cheat that was extremely popular and every player loved it, there is an equivalent in The Sims 4! This cheat works a bit different than it did in The Sims 3 but it’s still a great cheat to know.

For this one you’ll want to open up the cheat box, enable your cheats and then type in Money X but replace the X with whatever amount of money you want your sims to have.

For example, if you want your sims to have 100,000 simoleons the entire cheat would be Money 100,000 and you’d hit enter and the game would adjust your family funds to have exactly 100,000 in it. This doesn’t just add 100,00 to your money, it adds whatever amount you’d need to have 100,000 total.

Motherlode, Kaching, Rosebud

These are the most used money cheats in the game because they are so easy to use. To use these you’ll want to enable your sims 4 cheats and then type in one of these words and hit enter. Once you hit enter the game will automatically give you the amount of money you asked for.

If you type in kaching or rosebud the game is automatically going to give you 1,000 simoleons added right to your family funds. If you type in motherlode the game will give you 50,000 simoleons directly into your family funds.

In addition to all of the child-only skills that you have access to, there is also the chance for your kids to gain the knitting skill and you can use the cheat above in the skill cheats section for gaining knitting for kids.

These cheat codes will max out the child skill to level 10, if you want to give them a different level of the skill you can change the number 10 to whatever level you’d like.

Sims 4 Cheats for Toddler Skills

All the cheat codes below will max out a toddler’s skill, if you want to put it to a specific level you can change the number 5 (or 3 for potty) to whatever level of the skill you’d like your toddler to have.

Trait Cheats

Trait cheats allow you to give your sim any trait that they don’t currently have, without them having to earn it through the reward store or completing aspirations.

There are both give a sim a trait and remove a trait cheats, the cheats below will add the trait to your sim and if you want to remove it just change the world equip to the word remove in the cheat code.

Career Cheats

Your sims careers are a huge part of their lives and you are able to either demote or promote your sims using cheats which can be extremely helpful for storytelling. All of the following cheats will promote your sims, but if you change the word promote to demote in the cheat it will demote them. I just didn’t want to have two separate charts for essentially the same cheat.

Part Time Job Cheats

After school activity cheats, student cheats (teen and child), build cheats.

A lot of players in The Sims world absolutely love to build in the game and make gorgeous homes for their sims. To really get great looking houses in The Sims 4, you want to make sure you know a few of these build cheats so you can understand them and make your homes much more beautiful.

Need Cheats

Unlike in past games, there is no way to cheat your sims need individually without a mod like UI Cheats . However, you are able to use a shift click cheat to click on the mailbox to change your sims needs. There are a few options you can do when you hold down shift and click on the mailbox.

You can fill needs entirely for just the household or the entire world which can make your whole house happy in one click. You also have the option to shift click on a single sim and choose make happy to fill just their needs.

Finally, you can disable or enable needs decay by shift clicking on the mailbox so your sims needs never change.

Relationship Cheats

The relationship cheats are a bit more confusing when you first look at them. So, let’s go over an example. If you want to increase the friendship between Bob and Eliza Pancakes by 50 points the cheat would look like this:

If you wanted to decrease their relationship by 50 points you would just need to add an – before the number and it would look like this:

All of these cheats function the same, where you need the first and last name for each sim, the positive or negative number amount and the LTR part of the cheat to make it work. If you have a pet without a last name for the last two cheats, you don’t need to have a last name.

Satisfaction Points Cheats

In the game you a re able to use satisfaction points to purchase reward store perks like not having to sleep, being welcome anywhere and more. You are able to actually cheat to give your sim satisfaction points with the following cheat. You want to change the # to whatever amount of satisfaction points you want.

Aspiration Cheats

Sometimes you may just want to have your sim skip a step and move to the next level of your sim’s aspiration. You can use the following cheat to complete your sim’s current level and move on. Doing this will allow your sim to get the satisfaction points and move to the next level without having to complete the tasks.

Sims 4 Expansion Pack Cheats

With every new expansion pack we are given, we get brand new cheats to learn and love. These cheats apply to things like careers, skills, and other smaller aspects of each pack and can be extremely valuable for a player. There are individual articles for each pack, but below you’ll see all of the cheats for every expansion, game and stuff pack that has cheats.

Get to Work Cheats

The first cheats you need to know for The Sims 4: Get to Work are the perk point cheats that you will apply to your retail stores to make your life easier and make your store run more smoothly.

The next cheats that you’ll want to know for Get to Work are the skill cheats for both the photography skill and the baking skill. The cheats are going to max out the skill but if you change the 10 to any number you can get that level of the skill instead. (i.e., 5 for level 5).

Finally, you’ll also want to know the career cheats for the active careers in Get to Work. There are 3 careers that you can play with your sims including the doctor, scientist and detective careers. These will either promote or demote your sims in those careers.

Get Together Cheats

There aren’t many cheats for you to need to know with The Sims 4: Get Together, there are only cheats for the skills that came with the game which are dancing and DJ mixing.

The below cheats are going to have your sims max out the skill, with dancing being a 5 level minor skill and DJ mixing being a 10 level major skill. You can change the number at the end to be whatever level of the skill you’d like your sim to have.

City Living Cheats

There are a number of cheats you’ll need to learn for city living. The first, are the skill cheats for the dancing skill.

The next type of cheat you can use are the career cheats that will either promote or demote your sim in these careers. There are 3 available careers, so six cheats total.

The last group of cheats you need to know for City Living are the reward trait cheats. These are traits that you are going to gain from things like using chop sticks, eating spicy food and more.

Cats & Dogs Cheats

The first set of cheats you need to know for Cats & Dogs are the skill cheats . There are two skills to learn in this pack, both the Vet Skill and the Pet Training Skill.

The next set of cheats are the relationship cheats that you can use to become friends with your pets.

Finally, you’ll want to learn the perk points cheats so you can add simple perks to your vet clinic to make your vet clinic run more smoothly.

Seasons Cheats

Seasons is forever one of my favorite packs for The Sims 4 and it has a bunch of awesome cheats to play with. The first cheats you need to know are the career cheats for both the gardener career and scouting after school activity.

The next thing are two skill cheats to learn for the flower arranging skill and the hidden skating skill.

In The Sims 4: Seasons there are a bunch of new traits you can earn or purchase, or just use these trait cheats to gain on your own.

One fun thing about Seasons is the new death types we got added to the game. Using the following cheats will let you immediately have your sim turn from a sim to a ghost. If you change equip to remove you will be able to change these sims back.

Finally, you are able to change the season your sims are experiencing of be able to change the length of a season with the following cheat codes.

Get Famous Cheats

The first set of cheats you need to know for The Sims 4: Get Famous are skill cheats for the acting and media production production skills. You can change the X at the end of the cheat to whatever level of the skill you’d like to have.

You are able to join the new actor career or the drama club after school activity with this pack. You can use the following cheats to promote or demote in those activities.

There are two traits your sims can get from finishing aspirations in this pack, but you are also able to go ahead and cheat to give your sims these traits immediately.

There is a whole tree or things your sims can get including fame perks and fame quirks. Before you can use the fame perk or fame quirk cheats you will need to find a sim ID. You can learn how to find Sim ID here . The following cheats will let you give your sim fame perks.

In addition to fame perks, your suns are able to get fame quirks. The following cheats will let you add fame quirks to your sims.

Island Living Cheats

The first cheats you need to know for Island Living are the career cheats for the conservationist career.

In addition to the conservationist career, we got a few new part-time jobs too and there are promotion cheats for those as well.

You are able to add one of four traits with trait cheats to get them without having to earn them the old fashioned way.

A big part of Island Living is being a mermaid, and you are able to turn your sim into a mermaid or turn your mermaid back into a sim. If you go from mermaid to sim, you may need to also use the hydration to hygiene cheat to fix your needs.

Finally, you have the option to hold down shift and click on your sim and go to sunbathing options to automatically make your sim burnt, tan, or remove a tan or burn.

The first important cheats to know are the career cheats. We got the education career , the engineering career , and the law career with Discover University and you can use the following cheats to promote your sims, if you change the promote to demote you can also get your sims demoted in these careers.

There is one earnable trait that you can get through being in the E-Sports Gamer after school activity and you can use the following trait to get the seasoned gamer trait.

With two new skills, we have two new skill cheats . You can put whatever number of the skill you want (1-10) in the X spot to choose which level of the skill you’d like to get.

Just like with regular careers, you want to get promoted in the after school activities to have a better time, you can cheat it with the following codes.

Finally, there are a ton of cheats for automatically giving your sim a degree in all 4 degree types. There are 13 degrees total and you can get a regular or distinguished degree and a degree with or without honours.

The first kinds of cheats for The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle are the cheats to change the neighborhood’s eco footprint.

There are two new careers that you can have in Eco Lifestyle, both the civil designer career and the freelance maker career. You can use these cheats to promote or demote yourself in those careers.

We have a bunch of traits in The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle that you need to earn or unlock but you are able to cheat to get those traits.

With this pack we also got two new cheats. The first is the 5 level minor skill called Juice Fizzing, and the second is a 10 level major skill called Fabrication. You can cheat these skills to whatever level you like by adding what level of the skill you’d like to replace the number at the end.

There are also a ton of shift click cheats for this pack. You are able to go to the community board to instant enact community space projects , shift click on a fabrication machine to get bits and pieces, and shift click on a community board to get influence points. These cheats are super valuable.

Snowy Escape Sims 4 Cheats

The first kinds of cheats that you need for The Sims 4: Snowy Escape are the lifestyle cheats so you can add or remove lifestyles. The cheats have equip in the cheat but if you change that to remove you can get rid of it.

There are 3 skills that you can learn in Snowy Escape, including rock climbing, skiing, and snowboarding. The following are the cheats for those skills. You can change the X to be whatever level (1-10) to get that level of the skill.

There is a new salaryperson career in Snowy Escape that your sims can have. The following cheats will allow you to promote or demote in that career.

With that career there are two traits that you can learn that are actually quite great and can be cheated to get them for free.

In addition, there are reward traits you can get when you complete the aspirations in the game, but you can use the following cheats to just give them to your sims.

If you want to unlock some of the locked create a sim items, you can use this CAS item tag unlock cheat.

Cottage Living Cheats

Sims 4 cheats for game packs, outdoor retreat cheats.

There is just one cheat you need for The Sims 4: Outdoor Retreat and that is of course, the herbalism skill cheat. This cheat is going to let you choose what level of the herbalism skill you want. Just change the X to whatever level of the skill you want your sim to have.

Spa Day Cheats

There are not a ton of cheats for The Sims 4: Spa Day, just a cheat for you to be able to increase your wellness skill. This skill encompasses yoga, meditation, etc and is a really fun one to play with. Just change the X to whatever level of the wellness skill you’d like to have.

Dine Out Cheats

The only cheats you need to know in The Sims 4: Dine Out are the perk point cheats that will unlock tons of perks for your restaurant including things like waiters, rushes, and more.

Vampire Sims 4 Cheats

The first cheats you need to know is how to turn your sim into a vampire. There are two versions, one as if you were bit, and one that will just change your immediately.

There is also a simple cheat to change your sim from a vampire to a sim again.

The next cheats are the skill cheats that you need to learn for the vampire lore and the pipe organ skill. For these, you can change the number at the end to whatever level of the skill you want to have. Pipe organ has 10 levels and vampire lore has 15.

In Vampires there are a few traits you can cheat to get to make your sim a better vampire.

If you want to do well in The Sims 4: Vampires, you want perk points. You are actually able to give yourself vampire points with the following cheat so you can get more perks.

The next thing you can do is to increase your vampire rank, there are 4 levels and you can choose whichever level you want.

The next cheats are death cheats to get rid of your vampire either immediately or watch them burn.

Finally, you can cheat to give your sims specific perks in the game. However, you need to find your sim ID to do this which you can learn about here .

Parenthood Cheats

The first cheat you need to know from The Sims 4: Parenthood is of course the parenting skill cheat. You can replace the number 10 with whatever level of the skill you’d like to have.

In this pack there are secret hidden traits that give your sims childhood phases that they will go through for a few days. You can cheat to add these traits to your sims to make them go through them. Just make sure that you remove the trait before trying to add another phase.

A large aspect of Parenthood is the character values system and the traits that your sims can get when they age up to a young adult.

You can also cheat the level at which your sims parenthood character values are at. In the cheat chart there is an X and you can change that anywhere from -100 to 100. 100 being completely full on the positive side, and -100 being completely full on the negative side.

Jungle Adventure Sims 4 Cheats

The first cheat you want to have for The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure is of course the archaeology and selvadoradian culture skill cheat. Just make sure you change the X of this cheat to whatever level of the skill you’d like to have, however, the culture skill only goes to 5 to max it out.

The other types of cheats from The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure have to do with the death by poison. There is a cheat to immediately kill your sim by poison turning them into a ghost, or a cheat to bring them back to life if they are a ghost who was killed by poison.

Strangerville Cheats

There aren’t a ton of cheats you’re going to need to know for The Sims 4: Strangerville but the ones we did get are really useful in being a better sim.

The first cheats you may need is how to promote or demote your sim’s in the military career . The cheat is the same and is simple, but you’ll just change the word promote to demote. To promote your sim you’ll want to use:

The other types of cheats we have are to add or remove traits that your sim may want. There are also trait cheats to add or remove an infection in the game.

Realm of Magic Cheats

There are a ton of cheats for any occult pack like Vampires, Werewolves and Realm of Magic because there is so much going on. You’ll have a bunch of options for changing how your spellcasters function and the abilities they have. The first cheat code you need to know is the free build cheat that is going to allow you to build in the magic realm.

Cheats for Becoming a Spellcaster

If you want to become a spellcaster with cheats you can easily do this so you don’t have to make friends with a Sage and ask them to change you. The cheat to become one is:

• traits.equip_trait trait_Occult_WitchOccult

If you want to stop being one with cheats you’ll want to use this cheat code instead:

• traits.remove_trait trait_Occult_WitchOccult

Sims 4 Cheats for Increasing Spellcaster Rank

Increasing your rank as a spell caster is going to allow you to unlock new possibilities and make your character stronger. The base of this cheat is going to stay the same, but the number you add at the end depends on what level of being a spellcaster you want to be. The base of the cheat is, where you’ll change the #:

• stats.set_stat rankedStatistic_WitchOccult_WitchXP #

Bloodline Trait Cheats

When you are a spellcaster who has spellcaster parents you are going to have bloodline traits that can give you benefits when you’re playing the game. There are three of these that your sims can have from weak to ancient. The cheats are going to equip your sims with these but if you change the word equip to remove you can get rid of these traits.

Perk Purchasing Cheats

There are a bunch of perks you are able to unlock for your sims to become a better version of a spellcaster. When using these you’re going to need to know how to find your sim ID since it’s necessary to be added to the end of the cheat.

Add or Remove Curses

The final type of cheat you need to know for Realm of Magic is how to add or remove your sim’s curses. The traits in the table below are going to give your sims curses but if you change the word equip in the cheat to the word remove it will get rid of your curses.

Journey to Batuu Sims 4 Cheats

In the fall of 2020 we were given The Sims 4: Journey to Batuu, possibly the most controversial of all sims packs ever . With this pack there are some sims 4 cheats that can help make your experience better in the game.

The very first cheat you need to know is changing your faction world states . This can be done by shift clicking on your sim, going to Batuu Cheats and going to Faction World States and choosing a different one.

The next is the create-a-sim unlock by tag cheat that unlocks all of the clothing items that you’d find in CAS. There are tons of locked items for Journey to Batuu so using this cheat can let you have access to these at any time.

• Unlock CAS Items: cas.unlockbytag GP09

Playing with light sabers is a big part of this pack but there is no light saber skill that you’re going to need to gain. However, your sim’s fitness skill is going to impact how well you do with your light saber battles. Therefore, you may want to cheat the fitness skill. You can change the number 10 to whatever level of the skill you’d like your sim to have.

• Fitness Skill Cheat: stats.set_skill_level skill_fitness 10

Our next type of cheat will give your sim more galactic credits to make your time more smooth. You can change the number 500 at the end of the cheat to whatever number of credits you want your sims to have.

• Get Galactic Credits: bucks.update_bucks_by_amount 51201 500

Finally, your sims are able to get a bunch of batuu items without effort by simple shift clicking on your sim. Then you’ll want to go to Batuu Cheats and then click on Give Batuu Items and they will immediately appear in your sim’s inventory.

Dream Home Decorator Cheats

There are two sims 4 cheats that you’re going to need to know for this pack. The first one is for getting promoted in the Decorator Career.

• Promote Decorator: careers.promote deco

The other type of cheat you’ll need to know is a create-a-sim item unlock cheat. This is going to unlock all items that you see in CAS but can’t access from Dream Home Decorator.

• Unlock DHD CAS: cas.unlockbytag GP10

Werewolves Cheats

Whenever we get an occult pack we get quite a few cheats to go along with it and there are so many cheats for you to know for werewolves. These are some of my favourite kinds of cheats because you can truly customize your experience with this pack and that’s amazing!

Cheats for Becoming a Werewolf

The first cheats are how to become a werewolf which is an easy process if you use the equip and remove trait cheats. To be able to make your sim a werewolf you’ll want to use this cheat:

• traits.equip_trait trait_occultwerewolf

To stop your sim from being a werewolf you’ll want to use this cheat:

• traits.remove_trait trait_occultwerewolf

Cheats for Ranking Up

The next ones you’ll want to know is the XP cheats that allow you to go up a rank. The end of the cheat has a # sign that you’ll want to replace with the number of points you need to get to each level.

You’ll add these numbers to the end of this cheat code:

• stats.set_stat rankedStatistic_Werewolf_Progression #

Cheats for Adding and Removing Traits

There are a number of traits that you can get in The Sims 4: Werewolves and you can use trait cheats to add these to your sims. The traits cheats currently have equip in them which will add the trait to your sim, you can easily change the word equip to remove and it will get rid of these traits for your sims.

Temperaments Cheats

The temperaments your werewolves have are going to seriously affect your gameplay and make your werewolves have more fury in weird ways. You’ll want to have the good ones to make sure you have a better experience.

These cheats currently have equip in them which means they’ll add temperaments but if you change it to remove it’ll get rid of a temperament. If you have four temperaments already, you’ll need to use a cheat to remove one before you can add another.

Sims 4 Cheats for Stuff Packs

There have been so many stuff packs released over the time that The Sims 4 has been around. However, there aren’t a ton of sims 4 cheats for stuff packs considering most of them just have things and CAS items in them, not actual gameplay that requires cheats. Below you’ll find the few stuff packs that you’ll need cheats for.

Romantic Garden Cheats

There is only one thing you can use sims 4 cheats with in The Sims 4: Romantic Garden and that is the wishing well . You are able to edit different outcomes and turn off the cool down on the wishing well by holding down shift and clicking on it. You’ll see a menu appear and you can choose things from there.

Bowling Night Cheats

There really aren’t a ton of sims 4 cheats for many of the stuff packs we get. The Sims 4: Bowling Night Stuff only has one cheat that you need to know and that is the skill cheat that came with the pack.

The bowling skill is a five level minor skill that can only be earned through bowling. The skill cheat has a number at the end that can be anywhere from 1 to 5 depending on whatever level of the skill you want your sim to have.

• Bowling Skill Cheat : stats.set_skill_level Skill_Bowling 5

Nifty Knitting Sims 4 Cheats

The first sims 4 cheats you need to know is definitely the cheat for the knitting skill . This one is a major skill meaning it has ten levels to play through for your characters and you can change the number 10 at the end of the cheat to be whatever number from 1 to 10 you’d like.

• Knitting Skill : stats.set_skill_level AdultMajor_Knitting 10

Next up are the specific unlock cheats for this pack since there are so many DIY items in this stuff pack. The first cheat is the CAS unlock cheat that allows you to unlock all of the knitted clothing items.

• Unlock Clothing in CAS : cas.unlockbytag SP17

The other cheat you need to know is the show hidden objects cheats that’s going to let you just purchase any of the knitted decorations and toys straight from build mode.

• Unlocks Build Knittables : bb.showhiddenobjects

Whenever you manage to finish the lord/lady of the knits aspiration your sims are going to get the sacred knitting knowledge bonus trait. This trait is fun because it makes your sim have the ability to craft the forbidden sweater which is gorgeous . This next cheat is going to just let you add this trait to your sims without working on the aspiration.

• Add Sacred Knitting Knowledge Trait : traits.equip_trait trait_SacredKnittingKnowledge

Paranormal Sims 4 Cheats

The first sims 4 cheats you need to know for The Sims 4: Paranormal Stuff is the skill cheats for the medium skill. For this cheat you can change the number at the end from anywhere from 1 to 5. This is a minor skill in the game meaning it only has five levels for your sims to play through.

• Medium Skill Cheat : stats.set_skill_level minor_medium 5

The next options for cheats from Paranormal are cheats about the paranormal investigator career. There are two cheats in this category where the first one has your sims getting the license without having to put in any effort. The second is going to give your sims a raise in their paranormal career.

• Get Paranormal License : traits.equip_trait trait_Freelancer_Career_ParanormalInvestigator_License
• Get a Raise : careers.promote Paranormalinvestigator

The next thing is going to unlock create a sim items that are currently locked unless you earn them yourselves. You’ll use this while you’re already in create a sim and you can use the filters > content > unlocked to find them.

Finally, there are a few really silly and completely unnecessary cheats in the game that you can use too.

• Make Your Sim a Ghost: traits.equip_trait trait_Ghost_SeanceTable
• Make Your Sim Look Like Guidry: traits.equip_trait trait_Guidry
• Make Your Sim Look Like Temperance: traits.equip_trait trait_HauntedHouse_Temperance

Unlocking CAS Items with Sims 4 Cheats

When you’re in create-a-sim you may notice that there are some items that are hidden behind locks, or other items that you just can’t access. There is actually a simple cheat code to unlock these items, however, it only works for items locked ever since The Sims 4: Nifty Knitting .

There is a simple cheat to be able to unlock these items that changes depending on the pack that the items come from. However, the beginning of the cheat code starts the same and that is cas.unlockbytag and then you’ll need to know the game code for each pack that this works for.

• Nifty Knitting: cas.unlockbytag SP17
• Paranormal: cas.unlockbytag SP18
• Dream Home Decorator: cas.unlockbytag GP10

Once you use this sims 4 cheat you’re going to have the cheat box pop open way larger and show you the exact items that you’ve unlocked and all their variations. This is how you know the cheat worked.

Pro Tip: You can go to the create-a-sim tags and under content you’ll actually find an unlocked button you can check off and only the items you’ve unlocked with this cheat will appear.

Photography skill only goes to skill level 5 however, it’s written as if it goes to 10. I wanted to set all my Sim’s skill to the prior level so they can master that last level on their own. (stats.set_skill_level Major_Photography 5)

Is there a cheat to increase the number of sims on a lot? One of my Sims just bought a castle and has moved his brother and his family in as well, as it is enormous. There are 8 of them altogether but they can’t have babies because it exceeds the 8, which is the max on a lot.

How to turn cheats on in Sims 4

To enable Sims 4 cheats, press Ctrl + Shift + C while in game to open the cheat console. Type your chosen cheat codes into the text field that opens and press enter.

For cheats marked as "shift click," you'll first need to type " testingCheats true " into the cheat menu. With testing cheats on, you can unlock some new Shift-Click menu options on Sims, objects, or the ground.

With testingCheats active, you'll be able to move Sims between families, fill up their needs and happiness bars, dirty or clean up objects, and teleport Sims anywhere you like, among a few others detailed below.

Sims 4 Money cheat

Sims 4 build cheats

These cheats will provide you with some extra freedom while building, so you can explore your Sims creativity untethered.

• bb.moveobjects: the Sims 4 move objects cheat is a vital one for builders, which allows you to ignore placement rules for objects
• bb.showhiddenobjects: the "debug cheat" which shows extra buildable items, often neighborhood scenery and small clutter, that cannot be bought
• bb.showliveeditobjects: unlocks more debug and environment items that you can build in buy mode, best to use after bb.showhiddenobjects for a total of around 1200 new objects to build
• bb.enablefreebuild: build anywhere, even on locked lots

• bb.increaserentalunitcap [on/off]: an integral cheat for builders in the For Rent expansion. By default, a lot in For Rent has a rental unit cap of 6 units. By turning this cheat on, you can increase that rental unit cap up to 99.

Sims 4 Live Cheats

Things have a way of going entirely sideways in The Sims 4 when you lose track of time. Here are some cheats to get you out of (or into, if that's your thing) sticky situations:

• resetsim [firstname lastname]: Resets a stuck Sim
• cas.fulleditmode : Allows you to change everything about an existing Sim when using the Shift+Click "edit in CAS" option including outfits, aspirations, and traits
• sims.give_satisfaction_points [#]: Gives a Sim an amount of satisfaction points.
• fillmotive motive_[motive]: Fills the specified motive, valid for: Bladder, Energy, Fun, Hunger, Hygiene, Social.
• fillmotive motive_toddler_attention: Specifically for toddlers, refills their social need which is called "attention".
• sims.fill_all_commodities: Fills the motives for all Sims in the household.
• aspirations.complete_current_milestone: Completes a Sim's current aspiration goal and awards the matching points.

Sims 4 Highschool Years cheats

Get your teen Sims through (or kicked out of) school with these cheats for graduating and getting expelled. These are all handled through the trait system, so you'll use the cheat traits.equip_trait [trait] with the following, which all do exactly what they suggest:

• trait_hsexit_graduate_early
• trait_hsexit_graduate_honors
• trait_hsexit_graduate_valedictorian
• trait_hsexit_expelled
• trait_hsexit_dropout

Like other traits, you can use traits.remove_trait to get rid of each as well. You can find more Highschool Years cheats for careers, skills, and personality traits in the tables below.

Sims 4 Werewolf cheats

Cheats for the werewolf pack are mostly related to traits. To immediately transform a Sim into a werewolf in the Sims 4: Werewolves pack, use traits.equip_trait trait_occultwerewolf to add the Werewolf trait. Similarly, to immediately remove the Werewolf trait, use traits.remove_trait trait_occultwerewolf instead. Find more werewolf traits in the tables below.

The Werewolves pack also added a series of cheats to add Temperaments to your werewolves, which are normally unlocked through gameplay and affect the rates at which your werewolves gain fury and go into rampages. To add a Temperament to your werewolf, use the cheat traits.equip_trait trait_OccultWerewolf_Temperaments_[temperament] , replacing the bracketed section with one of the following temperaments:

• AntiCapitalistCanine - Adds the 'Anti-Capitalist Canine' temperament
• BigBadWolf - Adds the 'Big Bad Wolf' temperament 
• Carnivore - Adds the 'Carnivore' temperament
• EasilyExcitable - Adds the 'Easily Excitable' temperament

Sims 4 Cheats Activation: How to activate the Cheat Console

Before you can use Sims 4 Cheats, you must first open the cheat console of your gaming platform. Most of the Sims 4 Cheats have to be unlocked by entering “testingcheats true” (or “testingcheats on” for consoles). Enter the desired cheat in the cheat row and confirm with ENTER. Close the Cheat Console by pressing the same key combination you used to open it.

• PC / Mac: press simultaneously STRG + Shift + C
• PlayStation 4: press simultaneously R1 + R2 + L1 + L2
• Xbox One: press simultaneously LB + LT + RB + RT

Sims 4 Cheats: Relationships

Sims 4 cheats: motives / needs.

For all Sims 4 Cheats on Sim Needs “testingcheats true” (PC/MAC) or “testingcheats on” (console) must be enabled. If you click on your Sim with Shift + Left Mouse Button, you will also get the options to make your Sim happy or to enable/disable the Need Dacay.

Build Mode Cheats

Sim Traits Cheats

Cheats for sim traits.

Sims can only have a total of three traits at the same time – like when you create a Sim in “Create-A-Sim” mode. If you want to change the existing traits of your active Sim, first remove existing traits. Replace the word “equip” with “remove” for the corresponding cheat. Example: With “traits.equip_trait clumsy” you give your Sim the trait “Clumsy”, with “traits.remove_trait trait_clumsy” you remove it again.

• As in Create-A-Sim mode, it is not possible to assign conflicting personality traits simultaneously. For example, “Lazy” and “Active” are mutually exclusive, as are “Cheerful” and “Gloomy” and so on!

Cheats for all Sim Traits

Traits from the rewards store.

The traits from the Rewards Store are usually purchased in exchange for Reward Points. These are obtained by fulfilling Aspirations or Whims of your Sims and completing Holidays (Seasons). Cheating is quicker, of course: Simply enter the desired amount of Reward Points in the “X” of the “sims.give_satisfaction_points X” cheat after you have enabled “testingcheats true” (PC/MAC) or “testingcheats on” (console).

• No more Whims displayed in your Sims 4 game? Enable “Show Whims” in the Gameplay options.

Rewards Store Trait Cheats

Cheats to traits caused by aspiration groups.

If you choose an Aspiration for your Sim, they will receive the bonus trait that matches the Aspiration Group until the Aspiration is fulfilled and the respective Aspiration Reward Trait (see below) appears. Without Sims 4 Cheats, it is not possible to actively use multiple Aspiration Group Traits on your Sim.

Bonus Traits due to completed Aspirations

In general, your Sims can accumulate as many rewards in-game by fulfilling Aspirations as you like. Especially traits like “Long Living”, “Laid Back” or ” Handy” make it easier for you to progress in careers or other Aspirations.

Career and skill bonus traits, child bonus traits, sims 4 cheats: skills.

When it comes to Skills, the game differentiates between main Skills, which you increase to Skill Level 10, and secondary Skills, which you increase to Skill Level 5. The only exception is the Skill “Vampire Lore” from the Game Pack “Vampires”, which you can even increase to Level 15! In our Cheats List, you’ll find Cheats that will give you the maximum level of the Skill you want – if it’s a lower Skill Level, just change the number to the desired value.

• To use Skill Cheats, “testingcheats true” (PC/MAC) or “testingcheats on” (consoles) must be enabled.

Adult Skills

Your Sims learn most Skills by interacting with an object or performing a specific activity. You can see your progress on Skills you have learned in the Skills Tab at the bottom right of the screen. However, you can only see how well your Sims master hidden Skills when you use them!

In order to save you many hours of playing time while you are up-grading careers, Cheats are a convenient alternative. In our Sims 4 Cheats List we distinguish between the Classic Careers where your Sim leaves home to start work and returns after work, Active Careers, Part-Time and Freelance Careers as well as Careers for children and teenagers.

• To use skill cheats, “testingcheats true” (PC/MAC) or “testingcheats on” (consoles) must be enabled.

General Career Cheats

Classic careers (rabbithole careers).

To take a new job, your Sims can either click on “Start a Career” in the Career tab at the bottom right of the screen, click on “Search Job” in the “Work” section of your phone, or click on “Search Job” in the “Career” selection menu of any computer. Then select the desired Career in the selection menu. You will also see the two Career Branches of each Career.

Can’t you manage to get your Sims into life-threatening situations? With the Cheats from this List you can turn your Sims directly into Ghosts! They get a color matching the Death Type and cause environmental effects: For example, drowned Sims leave puddles of water wherever they move.

• Children can only die of drowning, hunger, fire (Sims 4), in the sauna (Spa Day) and by Pufferfish-Nigiri (City Living).

Cheats for all Death Types / Ghosts

• If you want to bring a ghost Sim back to life, simply replace the word “equip” with “remove”. For example, the Cheat traits.remove_trait fire will bring a Sim that died by fire back to life.

Turning animals into Animal Ghosts Cheats (Dogs and Cats)

Make the grim reaper part of your household.

To make the Grim Reaper a playable Sim and thus part of a household, create a two-person household and open the Cheat Console with CTRL + Shift + C. Enter “testingcheats true” and make sure that a Sim dies in this actively played household. Wait until the Grim Reaper appears and completes his job on the recently passed Sim. Then Shift + Left-Click on the Grim Reaper and select the “Add to family” option.

Cats and Dogs Cheats

Improve / deteriorate animal relationship values.

Turning animals into Animal Ghosts Cheats

Unlock veterinary clinic perks.

To use these cheats, you need an active and functioning vet clinic with the appropriate facilities and your Sim has to be present in those premises. Use “testingcheats true” (PC/MAC) or “testingcheats on” (consoles) and then enter your desired Cheat. In the Perk List of the clinic you can see all activated perks.

City Living Cheats

Cottage living cheats, best friends with all animals.

Raise your friendship level with all farm animals instantly with the following method: Open the cheat console (Ctrl+Shift+C), use the command “testingcheats true” and Shift-Leftclick on the desired animal. With the option “Cheat Relationship” you’re able to decide the friendship level between your active sim and the animal. Use the Shift-Leftclick on Wild Birds Homes to use the cheat on wild birds swarms.

Get all Animal Clothing instantly

If you don’t want to buy or get animal clothing via finishing errands in Bagford-on-Henley there’s a much faster way via cheat: Open your cheat console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+ C, then use “testingcheats true” to enable cheats. Shift-leftclick on a cow, llama, chicken, rabbit or fox and use the option “Get all Animal Clithes (Debug)” to get every clothing piece spawned in your inventory.

Use “Buy Animal Clothing” via shift-leftclick on those animals to buy a specific piece.

Create / spawn Farm Animals

You’ll get more animals on your farm, if you open the cheat console (Ctrl+Shift+C) and use the commands “testingcheats true” and a shift-leftclick anywhere on the ground. With the “Create Animal” option you can decide to spawn a chick, hen, rooster or rabbit. Use a shift-leftclick on a rabbit home to spawn up to five rabbits living in this home.

Use the “Create Hen in Coop (Debug)” option with a shift-leftclick on a chicken coop – there’s a moderate chance to get an golden or evil chicken, too! With the same method you’re able to spawn cows or llamas in empty animal sheds.

With the “Create Egg (Debug)” option shift-leftclicked on a chicken coop you may choose between eight different egg variations, even Obsidian or Golden Eggs. Use “Create Hatchable Eggs” with a shift-leftclick on the chicken coop to spawn hatchable eggs.

Get all Animal Treat recipes

Open the cheat console (Ctrl+Shift+C) and use the commanc “testingcheats true”, then shift-leftclick on your fridge. You may now unlock all animal treat recipes, get all ingredients for all animal treats in your inventory or get one unit of every animal treat in your backpack via the available options.

Unlock all Cross-Stitch patterns

To get all Cross-Stitch patterns you need a cross-stitching hoop placed in the world. Open the cheat console (Ctrl-shift+C), use the “testingcheats true” Command and shift-leftclick the hoop to unlock all patterns or get all patterns in your inventory.

Dine Out Cheats

Unlock restaurant perks with cheats.

To unlock Restaurant Perks, you first need an active restaurant business with the appropriate equipment, employees and a menu. Only then can you access the Restaurant Perks and unlock them with cheats.

Discover University Cheats

Change university enrollment / roommate.

To enroll any Sim of the “Young Adult” age group at the university, “testingcheats true” (PC/MAC) or “testingcheats on” (console) must be active. Shift + Left-Click on the Sim, select the option ” Enroll in University” and choose your desired courses. To change the appearance of a roommate, also activate “testingcheats” and Shift + Left-Click on the desired roommate. With “Change to create a Sim” you can change the appearance of the Sim.

Cheats for Advancing in Student Organizations

First, join one of three Public Student Organizations of the chosen university by contacting one of the members of these organizations and requesting admission. You can join the secret fraternity by donating items at the statue in the middle of the campus. Members of this organization will visit you at night to welcome you. Once your Sim has joined, use the Cheats in the List below (click on the blue bar Student Society Cheats) to progress, replacing the X with the following values

• Rank 2: 166
• Rank 3: 333

Cheating Diplomas

Both universities offer all subjects in which your Sims can obtain an honorary degree through special study achievements. If your Sims achieve an honours degree in special subjects at the respective university ( Science courses at Foxbury, Art courses at Britechester), the future career bonus in the form of higher earnings, more holidays and higher career entry level will be the highest. The best possible degree is marked with an X in our list. Cheats with the addition “Honors” result in an honorary degree.

Sims 4 cheats: foxbury degrees, dream home decorator cheats, eco lifestyle cheats, traits and bonus traits, career, skill and death cheats, sims 4 cheats: change the eco footprint of your neighbourhood.

To change active Neighbourhood Action Plans (NAPs) or to deploy new ones , you first activate the Cheat Console and use the Cheat “testingcheats true”. Then hold down Shift and Left-click on the NAP board in your neighbourhood (or on your mailbox if you are on your Sim’s residential property) to use the following options:

• Immediately implement Neighbourhood Action Plan (Cheat) : The expanding list contains all NAPs currently not active in the Neighbourhood, which you can add to the already active ones.
• Override Neighborhood Action Plan immediately (Cheat) : Here you will see all currently active NAPs, from which you can select one or more to override them.

You generate more Influence in a similar way : Activate the Cheat Console and use the “testingcheats true” Cheat before Shift + Left-clicking on one of the voting boards and selecting “Sim +15 Influence” for +15 Influence per use.

You can change the type of a Community Shared Lot by first traveling to that property. Activate the Cheat Console and enable the “testingcheats true” Cheat before Shift + Left-clicking the “Neighborhood Action Plan Board” located on the property, before selecting the desired type (Market Area, Community Garden, Manufacturing Area).

Get Famous Cheats

Changing the Celebrity Level with Cheats

Activate “testingcheats true” (PC/MAC) or “testingcheats on” (consoles) to open the “Public Image” menu on your active Sim with Shift + Left-click. Now you can increase or decrease the Celebrity Rating, lock fame permanently (Freeze Fame) and adjust the Sim’s Reputation. You can also add Fame Quirks or remove unwanted Quirks. If you use one of the last two options, a window will open with the available Quirks, but you can only select and change one Quirk at a time.

Celebrity Perk Cheats

For these cheats you first need the ID of your active Sim. You can get this ID with the cheat “sims.get_sim_id_by_name first name last name”. Note the number for all following Cheat Codes.

• Celebrity Perks and Quirks are removed by eliminating the word “true” in the matching cheat before using it.

To unlock perks for your retail store, first enable “testingcheats true” (PC/MAC) or “testingcheats on” (consoles). If you are buying a retail item and have at least one item for sale, you will be able to use the Perks page.

If you want Sims to get a nice tan (or sunburn) even without extensive sunbathing, first activate “testingcheats true” (PC/MAC) or “testingcheats on” (consoles) in the cheat console. Shift + Left-click on the Sim and use “Sunbathing Options” to select your desired tan in the appearing selection menu.

Jungle Adventures Cheats

Nifty knitting stuff, paranormal stuff, parenthood cheats, changing character values.

If you want to change the character values of children and teenagers, use the cheat that matches the desired character value and replace the “X” with a value between -100 and 100, with -100 being the worst and 100 the best value on the character value scale.

Bonus Traits due to Character Values

Childhood phases.

The childhood phase of ” Picky Eater” runs in several stages, getting worse and worse. You trigger them by replacing the “A” from the Cheat with the values “B, C, D, DisgustedByFood and F”.

Realm of Magic Cheats

Increase your spellcaster rank with cheats, magical curse cheats.

With these Cheats you spread nasty curses on your Sims. Although more curses can be active at the same time, only three curses will be displayed at a time. If you want to get rid of a curse, replace the word “equip” with “remove” in the Cheat.

Sims 4 Cheats for Spellcaster Perks

Once your Sim has become a Spellcaster, he will gain experience points by using spells, dueling other Spellcasters and making potions, which will allow him to unlock various perks.

• For the Spellcaster Perks Cheats you need the ID of the Sim you want to use. You can get this ID with the cheat “sims.get_sim_id_by_name first name last name”. Note the corresponding sequence of numbers for all following cheat codes and insert it at the value “SimID”.

Change seasons with cheats, snowy escape cheats, lifestyle cheats.

There are two ways to get up to three Lifestyle traits for your Sim – or get rid of them, too: Either you use one of the cheats in our list directly to get the Lifestyle you want for your Sim or you remove an active Lifestyle by replacing the word “equip” with “remove” in the cheat to this Lifestyle.

Or you activate your cheat console, type the cheat “testingcheats true” and Shift-Leftclick your sim (or hover over them and press X+O or A+B depending on your console type) afterwards. Use the “Cheat Sim Info” menu to add or remove a Lifestyle.

Spa Day Cheats

Star wars – journey to batuu cheats, get useful free batuu items.

Use “testingcheats true” in the cheat console and Shift+Left-Click on your sim. Select “Batuu Cheats” and “Give Batuu Items” to recieve the following items in your sims inventory: 5 Kyber Crystals, 5 Lightsaber Hilts, 30 Scrap Metal, 10 Dataspikes, 2 Fake ID Cards, First Order Uniform, Resistance Disguide, DL-44 Blaster Pistol, F-11D Blaster Rifle, Jedi Holocron, Comlink, Sith Holocron, Thermal Detonator, TD2.3 Electrobinoculars, Hondo’s Package, First Order Log Files, Information Fragment, Dok-Ondar’s Lost Antiquities, First Order Access Codes, Compiled Batuu Report

Change your Sim’s Faction Reputation

Use “testingcheats true” in the cheat console and Shift+Left-Click on your sim. Select “Batuu Cheats” and “Batuu Reputation”. This allows to change directly every faction’s reputation rank from – 5 up to +5.

Change Faction World State

Use “testingcheats true” in the cheat console and Shift+Left-Click on your sim. Select “Batuu Cheats” and “Faction World States”. This cheat changes the primary faction of a neighbourhood as long as a sim is in that faction. This will be shown in different flags and faction-related townie composition.

Add Rey and Kylo Ren to your Household (and have fun with them!)

Use “testingcheats true” in the cheat console and Shift + Left-Click on Rey and/or Kylo Ren. Select the “Add to family” option to add them to your active sim’s household. After this you’ll be able to romance them like any other sim. This cheat works with every sim on Batuu, too.

If you want to get some more steam into your journey to Batuu, you’ll be able to WooHoo with Rey in a Resistance tent, but there’s no such possibility in the First Order District. Kylo Ren looses his stylish dark side outfit if he leaves this neighbourhood, so you’ll have to cheat a bit to make a WooHoo option possible: Open the cheat console once more and use “bb.enablefreebuild” to freely access build mode on Batuu. Then add a WooHoo possibility like a bush, shower, pile of leaves, closet or anything else to the District. Now you’re ready to have a dark side romance with Kylo!

StrangerVille Cheats

Vampires cheats, cheats for vampire ranks and vampire powers.

Once your Sim has become a Vampire, he will gain experience points by using Vampire Powers, bloodsucking and dueling other Vampires to increase his rank within Vampire Society and unlock new Vampire Skills. This is very time consuming for higher ranks – but the following Cheats will shorten this process significantly!

Vampire Rank Cheats

To cheat Vampire Powers for a Sim, the Sim must be at least a “Fledgling”. Pay attention to the interaction between the different Vampire Powers when cheating. As with Sim traits, certain Vampire Powers are mutually exclusive and cannot be used simultaneously.

• For Vampire Powers Cheats you need the ID of the Sim you want to use. You can get this ID with the cheat “sims.get_sim_id_by_name first name last name”. Note the corresponding sequence of numbers for all following cheat codes and insert it at the value “SimID”.

The Sims 4 Discover University Cheats

Adding or removing degrees, career levels, and skills.

The campus of the University of Britechester. Foxbury is a more modern technical school.

The Sims 4 Discover University releases November 15, 2019 on PC/Mac, and will arrive December 17 for console players. This guide to cheating should work for both platforms. Using trait, career, and skill cheats you're able to boost your Sim in a number of ways -- even giving them a degree they never attended school to earn.

Career Cheats

Discover University comes with three new Careers . First, there's Engineering which has a Computer and Mechanical Engineering branch. Law has Judge and Private Attorney branches, while Education has Administrative and Professor branches. Each of these can be promoted with Careers.promote - so you'd use:

• Careers.Promote Education - to boost your Teacher/Professor .
• Careers.Promote Engineering - to boost your Mechanical or Computer Engineer.
• Careers.Promote Law - to boost your Judge or Private Attorney.

Skill Cheats

As usual, you can use the Stats.Set_Skill_Level cheat on Discover University's new skills. They are Research and Debate and the Robotics Skill . Both are extremely useful. In order to set your skill level use:

• Stats.Set_Skill_Level Major_Robotics # - replacing # with the level you want.
• Stats.set_Skill_level Major_ResearchDebate # also works.

Enroll in University

If you shift-click your Sim with testingcheats on you can access a sadly very empty University Debug Menu where you can click, 'Enroll in University' to be immediately taken to the enrollment screen.

Join or Leave University Organizations (Requires Mod)

You require All Cheats Mod in order to do this, but it is indeed possible to join University Organizations with a cheat. I luckikly invistigated and stumbled upon it. To do this, you need to use Sims.Get_Sim_ID_By_Name YourSimFirstName YourSimLastName - The ID will appear in the window. Now you can use cheats to join the organizations. If you're already in, this will toggle and kick you out.

You can copy/paste the first part of the code, then use the SimID in the cheat console. Just be very careful about typing this ID correctly. This is a more advanced cheat and must be done perfectly.

Rank Up University Organization Cheats (No Mod Needed)

Someone asked, and I did discover that it's possible to when already joined give Sims Organization rank ups by using a cheat. You use stats.set_stat RankedStatistic_CollegeOrganization_Progress_Debate 166 to set Debate guild to Rank 2 (166 is the break point), 333 for rank 3. For your copy/paste pleasure, I've listed them all out here. On Pc/Mac it's possible to join with a cheat if you use the AllCheats Mod (see above) but if you do not want to use a mod you can just ask a member - go to one of their meetings by using the organization events schedule at the kiosk.

Here are all organizations. Bear in mind which School you're in, as both have their own set of organizations and it may be unwise to use a code for the rival school. If you fail to follow instructions and join your Sim to a group this way (it doesn't show in the organizations panel) you may break your ability to join legitimately.

Spawn Crafting Supplies

I noticed that with TestingCheats On , when I shift-click the robotics table, it gives me the option to "Spawn Crafting Supplies". This will give you 50 of everything in the currently selected Sim's inventory. A very nice time saver if you're already cheating and don't want to have to spam building these to add a Servo or Fixer bot to your household.

University Cheats (Requires Mod)

There are a ton of cheats that can be used with TwistedMexi's All Cheats Mod . The commands all start with University. I'll list them below and what they appear to do for you. Some are just informative.

• University.Finish_Term - this one will instantly finish the term and allow you to sign up for another.
• University.Graduate - Instantly makes you a graduate with current or perfect GPA. I can't tell becuase my student is awesome.
• University.Accept_all_Degrees - This cheat allows you to join distinguished programs you're not qualified for.
• University.Award_all_Degrees - Gives your Sim every degree. It appears they are all non-distinguished, however.

Degree Cheats Without Mod

You can have every degree without mods if you feel like cheating them in!

Why is this last? Because it's extremely long. I'm going to list out how you can get a distinguished degree for every major in Discover University. If you want a regular one, you can switch up between BA/BS to get the normal variant from the other School.

Use Traits.Equip_Trait to add the degree to your Sim (they're simply traits, but have their own special slot on your Simology panel). Now, when you join a career, you'll get every bonus any graduate would get because the game simply looks to see the traits you have.

Here's a listing in order of degree type. Realize there are four for every degree, but you only need one. Every BA comes from Britechester, and every BS comes from Foxbury. For Arts schools (anything Britechester) the best degree is going to be a BA Honors while for tech and sciences the best will be BS Honors. This means you have a Bachelor's in Science and graduated with Honors.

Why am I listing them all? Because it's an easy copy paste and you may enjoy having the granular control over where you graduated. I'll make minor notes on a few of these to make sure it's understood. I'm making it so you can copy/paste these fairly easily and also including links to degree specifics .

Awesome! Are there cheats to enroll without waiting the several sim days for your acceptance letter? Will they be added here if so?

Also are there cheats for the secret society membership/levels? Do you know if you can join without being enrolled in uni / still be a member after graduation?

I just added in the cheats for those. They were a bit more time consuming to find, so I had to work on other things. I figured the joining might need a mod as there weren't any new commands for that, and it would appear I am right. You can, however, rank up with a cheat without mods and I've made those copy-pasteable in order to help people out with that.

yup! if you shift click your sim, a debug menu appears. press on university and then "enroll in university" and you'll enroll immediately without having to apply and wait a few days.

Is there a cheat to change a Sim back into a human, because the game literally just changed one of my existing Sims into a ROBOT

hey ! I don't know if this is common knowledge but there is a cheat for promoting ur class grade in the term. careers.promote university_courseslot_a/b/c/d depending what term you are in I believe ! and it seems to work for all the classes u take at once.

Are you asking this as a question or saying you can actually do it I can't tell lol I have a sim where I went through Language/Lit degree at UBrite and now want to try it again with the same sim and a group of premade roomates. They all have varying skills/points/jobs I want to get rid of. I tried your suggestion a bunch of times replacing Equip with Remove and it didn't work. I so wish there was a cheat to just wipe a sim clean of everything. Or that once you upload to gallery it wiped them clean and treated them as a template. I feel like the whole gallery concept is kind of whack if sims come with a ton of baggage when you just want to start fresh. We need to be able to use sims as template without being tied to their previous play history. I've spent most of today googling how to remove this and that. Sorry had to rant lol

NStella you should have a copy of your Sim in your Library as the game forces you to save any Sim you make before you can place them into the worlds.

If you have Get To Work make a clone of your sim using the cloning machine that came with the Active Scientist Career then you will have a copy of your sim with no skills. You can just save your played Sim to your Library, download them into a new game with another sim you quickly make to be your Scientist - cheat them to max career level and then buy the cloning machine. Clone your played Sim then save take the household into CAS delete the played sim and the scientist sim leaving the brand new clone and so save them, as a single sim household - and so now you have your blank-slate template Sim for any future games.

So, my sims graduated with their degrees and havce the Academic aspiration to complete. They both went to school to get into the educational career paths, but their aspiration goal of "Get a Job Using a Degree" is still not fulfilled, even though their degrees were for that specific career path. Thoughts? Suggestions?

I'd just use a cheat to complete the last aspiration requirement. Nothing more you can do unless you roll back to an earlier save and replay.

make sure you put the cheats folder into the mods folder of ts4, and have script mods enabled in game options

Hi can you please help me so my sim is part of the brainiacs organization and my sim is unable for some reason to complete visit office hours. I visited office hours more than once and the task just wont complete and i tried your honor society rank cheat and nothing is working. My sim is stuck as a stupid new member of brainiacs and his almost done with his course.

Sounds similar to this bug So maybe hop over to the Bug Forum and leave a Me Too or a comment.

Made a whoops and moved my Sim into a new home right after attending graduation. She has her degree in her inventory, but she doesn't have the trait from her Physics degree and only starts at entry level in the engineering job. I can't reenroll her to get the degree because the game says she already has it. I tried using the cheat to equip the trait but it doesn't work. No typos (tried multiple times, copy/pasted), she's the only sim in the household, and testingcheats was on. Help!

I've found that when the degree cheats seems to not work that quitting and restarting your game can help or going and temporarily playing another family for a few minutes then going back to your main Sim and trying the cheat again seems to make it work.

If you put Stats.Set_Stat RankedStatistic_CollegeOrganization_Progress_Debate 777  you'll get Level 3 of Britechester Debate Organization (if Joined).

I’m having an issue where my sim’s partner moved in whilst studying a degree. When they move in, it says the degree is finished with no more classes to study (they have a B- every time this happens, for some reason) but the sim doesn’t seem to have graduated as they cannot enrol in university (even using the testingcheats shift+click to enrol them - it allows them to go through the process and takes their money, but no classes etc). I was hoping that I might be able to remove this using the equip/remove traits cheat but no joy. These sims are also unable to get the head start in their career as they don’t seem to have graduated. Is anyone else having this problem and does anyone have any tips for sorting it out?

There are many issues around merging and moving households while enrolled in uni. Sadly the only way to correct this might be to roll back to a previous save before your Sims moved in together.

Since you listed the non-cheat source of the bartender degree as ???, I figured I'd add the tiny bit of info I have on it in case it helps.

• It's actually a smaller certification instead of a full degree.
• I got it by taking the §250 skill classes in mixology over and over again. I found a few people saying they got it through electives (sometimes even ones not related to mixology, which is probably a bug) but I haven't been able to make that happen yet in my game, so I can't vouch for it.
• Unfortunately, I didn't write down the exact number of classes I took. I'd guess it was about 10 though.
• I maxed mixology a few classes before I got the certificate. Not sure if that's a requirement.
• All of this was when I wasn't enrolled in university any more.

No clue why they made this one degree completely different from the others and (as far as I know) didn't add anything in-game to let you know it even exists unless you stumble into it, but it definitely is attainable.

I'm pretty sure you need to take 11 skill classes in Mixology to get the certificate

Hello, I’m having some issues with my presentation boards for the communications degree. I have two sims working on their degrees and living on campus at the same time. One is communications, one is art history. When I re-enrolled for a term the arts degree had this presentation board but the communications degree was missing 2 needed for courses. Does anyone know a mod free way to get these back? I feel like I’ve tried everything.

Sounds like this bug Presentation Board Missing Bug If you think it's the same add a 'Me Too' to the report. I'm not aware of any work-arounds so you might have to roll back to one of the older auto saves and hope they are before the bug occurred.

Sadly you've not told me any details that I can use to try to help. All the cheats are working for me as normal in my game so perhaps you have made some typos or are trying to use the particular University cheats that require a specific mod? Go back through the guide and see if you are needing a mod, if so the link for twistedmexis mod is also there in the guide for you. If you still can't get the cheats to work and need more help let me know which cheats in particular are not working for you and what you've tried to do to make them work.

Some of the cheats require this mod to work properly: TwistedMexi's All Cheats Mod. If you had read the accompanying text you would have seen the link for his mod. This is different from "testingcheats on".

I'm trying to use the cheat that unlocks distinguished degrees, and it doesn't seem to be working. I did turn on testingcheats. Is there a waiting period like when you apply to a university, or do you have to do it before applying? (I know there's no typos since I copied and pasted it right from the website).

Sometimes you have to load another household then go back to the original household for the degree to have registered after using the cheat. Or just use the cheat, save, quit and then reload your game. No idea why this cheat sometimes doesn't seem to register initially but after loading another household and then returning to your original Sim you cheated with...the degree will be there above their Traits UI.

This is 2 years late but incase it helps somebody else with the same question you can remove degrees with MCCC by just right clicking on the degree shown in the simology tab.

I feel like I'm the only one for whom it doesn't work. I got the mod it shows up but I have no clue if it does anything I wasn't missing any cheat and my university students are still stuck

This picture doesn't tell me what you are trying to cheat so I have no way to guess what to try to help you with. Your sim has a degree so something must have worked! If you are trying to cheat to change the degree in the picture you can't...once a sim has a degree you can't cheat to alter that gained degree. You can cheat on different degrees that your sim hasn't completed.

Most probably not or at the very best they will gain a very low score. So a C pass.

They might be in the debug buy menu. I haven't looked but I'd assume you'd find at least a generic one in there.

So testingcheats on followed by bb.showhiddenobjects and scroll past all the normal game play items and you'll start seeing the debug items...then you'll just have to go looking!

I'm not 100% sure which mod it is but I have UI cheat extension and

MC Command Center and when I hold shift and click on a sim and go to the university tab theres an option to 'add a diploma' that works.

To increase GPA:

Careers.promote university_courseslot_A

Repeat with B, C, D

Sim will graduate with A+ in every course.

If this cheat works it's going to mean a lot more fun times for my Sim while they are at uni

The enroll in university cheat WORKS ON CHILDREN AND TEENS! So it's totally possible to have little savants attending university so long as you also make sure they aren't enrolled in their normal schooling with the help of mods.

TEENS have full access to all university menus on the computer and in general, and their gameplay is indistinguishable from an adult sims options.

CHILDREN do not have access to the university menu on computers, so they cannot do things such as write a term paper, but they can still attend class and take exams. I do not know if they can make a presentation board.

I've been getting degree tracker LE's since doing Uni cheats with the mod. It just happens once and I can play the game without a problem. I've been told the only way to fix it is to either rollback my game or migrate all of my Sims and builds to another save file.

Have you heard of this happening and if so, do you know of any fixes for it besides the ones mentioned above?

You don't mention which mod you are using so it's hard to tell. Either way LE's can be ignored, if your game is running and performing as expected, in many cases. But if possible go to the modders site and report the LE to allow them the chance to fix the error in their code. I definitely would not quit a save just because of one random LE file that hasn't impacted your game play. I play with a lot of mods and apart from checking the LE here (click) I report it to the modder and just continue playing.
