Speech On World Health Day - 10 Lines, Short and Long Speech

  • Speech On World Health Day

April 7th is designated as World Health Day. Health is a trustworthy source of riches, unlike gold and silver coins. These are Mahatma Gandhi's exact words. We might all agree that "health is wealth," but do we actually prioritise it? Let us discuss some aspects of World Health Day.

  • 10-Line Speech On World Health Day

Every year on April 7th, World Health Day is celebrated to raise public awareness of health issues.

The World Health Organization was created on April 7th as well (WHO).

The first World Health Assembly was organised by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1948.

In India, the National Health Mission (NHM), which focuses on health services for rural and urban populations, was launched in 2005.

Already, half of the planet's population lacks access to healthcare.

Numerous colleges, universities, and other academic institutions worldwide make it a point to include their students in various activities that day.

Numerous seminars, early morning processions, advertising, and street plays are planned in honour of World Health Day.

Some people organise health fairs where people can receive free physicals.

The continued efforts of WHO have resulted in generic medications being beneficial for human health and being sold at reasonable prices in pharmacies.

Many hospitals offer special checkup offers to entice consumers to check their wellness and promptly diagnose any health issues.

Short Speech On World Health Day

Long speech on world health day, real life example.

Speech On World Health Day - 10 Lines, Short and Long Speech

Every year on April 7th, people all around the world observe World Health Day to recognise the value of health and to raise awareness of it. Human life depends on health. 'Health is riches,' wealth is useless to someone whose health is poor, whether they are affluent. People should be in good health if they want to lead happy and fulfilling lives. Work, stress, ideas, and many other aspects of daily life are all primarily influenced by one's health.

A healthy person will function well at work or school, be free from many diseases, be emotionally stable, and be physically fit. Exercise, a nutritious diet, and good health practices should all be followed.

Children And Health

Everyone's health is vital, but kids' health is especially crucial. Children spend most of their time in kindergarten, preschool, and school. When illnesses are spread among schoolchildren, they are easy prey because many ailments are contagious.

People need to pay more attention to their health and diet. The time is now to get started, identify our areas for growth, and concentrate on enhancing our health and living a well-versed, healthy life for ourselves and our loved ones. As Robert Urich once said, "A healthy outside starts from a healthy inside."

"Good health is not something we can buy. However, it can be an extremely valuable savings account." This quote by Anne Wilson Schaef indicates that a person with good health has incredible wealth.

Educating The World

People must be made aware that wealth is in their health. We must acknowledge the significance of well-being in our lives. Given the prevalence of so many diseases worldwide, maintaining physical fitness and safety is crucial. Educating the general population about health and fitness will aid in boosting awareness, and World Health Day is crucial in doing so. The World Health Organization's themes are included in World Health Day celebrations in India each year. The significance of global health is highlighted by the day.

In today's expanding world, health is crucial. We must use this day to highlight how important it is to live a healthier lifestyle. Our focus on work, eating, and sleeping causes us to overlook the value of health care.

We disregard it to the point where the only time we think about it is when our health deteriorates, or we get sick. We must understand that first-person well-being is our genuine wealth.

World Health Day

World Health Day has become necessary due to the rise in illnesses and diseases worldwide. Every year, a new ailment makes an appearance that instils anxiety in people. Every year, World Health Day establishes a specific topic to address major health issues and stop such outbreaks. On this day, different activities and services are planned worldwide with these themes in mind to ensure everyone has access to health care.

Its primary goals include raising public awareness of various causes, educating people on how to prevent various diseases, inspiring national health authorities to take action to improve the quality of life in their own countries, and many other things.

Health experts from various nations attend the events promoting health issues. WHO also serves as a reminder of the significant health issues that exist in the government. It is also necessary to make efforts to eradicate several severe health issues and epidemics in wealthy nations.

I remember the day that world health day was celebrated in my society. It was the first time that we celebrated world health day, and frankly, I didn't know what it was supposed to signify. On this day, events and activities were held around my society to raise awareness about important health issues and to encourage people to take steps to improve their health and the health of those around them. There were many activities which my society conducted to reel children, adults and older people into these activities. Some of these activities were -

Participating in a health walk or run to raise money for a health-related cause

Learning about health issues that affect your community and finding ways to address them

Volunteering at a health clinic or hospital

Educating others about healthy behaviours, such as proper hand washing or wearing masks to prevent the spread of illness

Donating to organisations that support global health efforts

We should examine our areas of reformation and consider how effectively our well-being might help us and our loved ones live well-behaved, secure lives. A balanced lifestyle and a healthier environment around you are essential components of Health Day.

Long and Short Speech on World Health Day

World health day speech – 1.

Good morning respected principal, teachers and my dear friends,

I am obliged that my class teacher has selected me to address you all for today’s assembly. On this world health day, my agenda is to create awareness amongst you all about this day.

This day is specifically celebrated to grab attention on the subject towards importance of the global health. This day is marked by the World Health Organization. Each year the agenda of celebrating this day is based on different criteria. Different varieties of events related to such particular themes are organized on the international and national level by the WHO. Emphasise of such special issues are taken care of annually with deep dedication. This day is celebrated each year to create awareness about the health issues and health concerns amongst the entire population.

We all should focus on adhering to good and healthy lifestyle. We should follow and promote healthy living style and healthy living habits. As compared to the past trends and decades the immunity level today has decreased a lot, this is majorly due to the natural climatic changes and the inherited not so healthy lifestyle of ours. For our safety and well being we all should monitor our activities like eating, sleeping, etc and ensure that we follow the standard desired healthy living habits throughout. We should work on creating awareness amongst others as well and must ensure to have a clean and healthy surrounding around for our well being and the well being of others.

The basic objective and agenda behind celebration of world health day is to increase the public awareness of various causes, to provide detailed knowledge of getting prevented from various diseases, to motivate the worldwide health authorities to make their own efforts in creating the healthy environments in their country and many more. Though, health is such a area that is to be taken care now and then and is not specifically dedicated to be addressed on one single day annually; but still many people out there deal with their health as not one on their priority list.

Two most common and easy modes of our health deterioration are our eating habits and the natural air or the surroundings that we inherit each second in us. Being healthy is not our goal it should be our living.

The most effective way of maintaining our health is having a regular habit of exercising. Exercise helps an individual to build themselves strong within with natural inherited things. A few basic things that help us in ensuring good health are: healthy eating habits, proper timely sleep, regular routine for exercise, ample drinking of water, safe urinary habits, daily washing habits, etc.

Please ensure to monitor each of your habit and create awareness amongst others as well. Thank you everyone for being my audience and I hope we all together will eventually enable the world be more aware and cautious about their healthy habits and wellbeing.

Thank you everyone!

World Health Day Speech – 2

Greetings of the day everyone. Our organization has specially organized this health check up campaign today. Before we all get busy with campaign, let me talk to you all about the reason behind arranging this.

Today this campaign is being arranged on the occasion of the World Health Day. This day just like today is always celebrated on 7th April. World Health Organization has necessarily declared this day as the World Health Day so as to make sure that people get to be aware about the health issues and concerns. We as individuals owe this responsibility to ourselves to ensure that we live a healthy life by adopting healthy lifestyle and healthy habits.

People nowadays don’t take their health and the related issues too seriously as they know how easy it is to visit a doctor and take one dose of medicine and get back to the perfect health. They should realise that this medication deep down deteriorates our level of immunity and makes it more prone to such diseases. Natural health and wellbeing is a very crucial thing to be maintained throughout.

With the changing trends, corporates have specifically established their NGOs and corporate associations so as to address one of the major issues of health that exists in the society at present. There is no age bar on whose health is more at the stake of being impacted by natural and personal deeds. Children, senior citizens, students, women, men, etc everybody has this concern at stake for themselves. We all should ensure the adoption of best healthy habits for ourselves and our near and dear ones.

A healthy diet and regular exercise routine is the best combination that one can adhere to for leading a healthy and well versed life. Proper nutritional habits of eating should be adopted since childhood for children so that since starting they have a strong immune system for being future life.

World Health Day dedicatedly provides us all with an opportunity to come together for one day every year to focus on actions that can improve the health of all our people and side by side address all the key concerns of the health taking the verge of majority of people at present.

We all should make it our habit to everyday, think about the habits that we opted for that day; from how much water we drank to did we exercise to the urinary habit that we adopted, etc. It is only in our hands to make our life healthy and have a great immune system.

To all those who at present consume medicines for high blood pressure or any other disease should focus on how to get rid of them through natural work and natural deeds for healthy life.

Now let’s get started and see our improvement areas and focus on how can be better our health and lead a well versed healthy life for ourselves and our near and dear ones. Healthy lifestyle and healthy surrounding is the key aspect of World Health Day.

Speech on World Health Day – 3

Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen – I warmly welcome you all to the 7 th health program organized by our managing committee.

This day is not only special because of the successful completion of 6 years of our NGO that work towards spreading health awareness amongst the masses, but also because it’s the World Health Day today. Since many of you perhaps not be knowing anything or much about this day, I would like to address this topic in the speech ceremony of today. The World Health day, ladies and gentlemen, is a national health awareness day which is observed on 7 th April every year. It is the World Health Organization (WHO), including other such organizations that lend its support in celebrating this important day.

Since health should be of paramount importance for all of us and nothing should be prioritized over or above it because it is said that a sound mind lies in a health body and in the absence of good health and hence a sound mind he/she cannot build empires or contribute towards the economic development of a nation-state. Therefore, with this realization the WHO in the year 1948 organized the first World Health Assembly. It is this assembly which decided to observe 7 th April of every year from 1950 onwards as the World Health Day.

The World Health Day is organized to commemorate the founding of WHO and is also perceived as an opportunity by the organization to draw the attention of people from all over the world towards this crucial subject matter of global health year after year. There are various global, national as well as local events being organized by the WHO based on a particular theme. It is perceived by different governmental as well as non-governmental organizations with interest in issues related to public health. On this day, such organizations as Global Health Council, also organize different activities with complete support from the media. World Health Day is one of the eight official campaigns of global health observed by WHO, in addition to

  • World Tuberculosis Day
  • World Immunization Week
  • World Malaria Day
  • World No Tobacco Day
  • World AIDS Day
  • World Blood Donor Day
  • World Hepatitis Day

As with every year there are different captivating themes to attract people’s attention, I would also like to draw your attention towards these. In the year:

  • 2006: It was “Working together for health
  • 2007: Invest in health, build a safer future
  • 2008: Protecting health from the adverse effects of climate change
  • 2009: Save lives. Make hospitals safe in emergencies
  • 2010: Urbanization and health
  • 2011: Antimicrobial Resistance
  • 2012: Ageing and Health
  • 2013: Healthy Blood Pressure
  • 2014: Small Bite, Big Threat
  • 2015: Food Safety
  • 2016: Diabetes
  • 2017: Depression: Let’s talk

So as you can realize from the themes that an emphasis has been laid down on the overall health and in fact mental issues, efforts have been put in by the WHO to help people combat them so that they can build a good physical as well as mental health. In fact, we should also contribute towards this cause as much as we can and try to build a disease-free society.

Speech on World Health Day – 4

Dear Society Members and Lovely Children – Warm Greetings to one and all!

As you all know why we have assembled here, i.e. to observe this great day called World Health Day which is gaining a huge importance with every passing year amongst the people worldwide. As we know the times are changing and life has become really fast-paced, especially in the metropolitan cities. The desire to outdo others, to earn more money and to become the most influential in society is what deriving people crazy due to which they have failed to achieve a work-life balance in their lives.

Due to this imbalance and deteriorating food eating habits, people are becoming divorced from a healthy, normal life and are living a mechanical lifestyle where work and even excessive work load has replaced everything. In the day to day schedule, people don’t even have time to look after their health, exercise and indulge in healthy food eating habits. As a consequence of which they are becoming prone to severe health conditions. Even worse, due to overriding ambitions and the constant struggle to realize those ambitions, people are living under excessive mental pressure. Their inability to adapt to the highly competitive environment, thwarted efforts is making them feel depressed and succumb to chronic mental conditions.

As this has become a global phenomenon which every country is grappling with, the need to draw people’s attention towards World Health Day has become of paramount importance. Friends, World Health day is celebrated every year on 7 th of April under the aegis of World Health Organization (WHO). In fact, this year’s World Health Day marks the 70 th anniversary of the WHO.

Established in the year 1950, every annual celebration has a theme to draw people’s attention towards the current global health concern. Interestingly, the WHO on this day puts together local, regional as well as international events in connection with the chosen theme. Local governments also try to be a part of this band-wagon because after all global health implies each and every one! On this day, people are urged to walk a few extra miles out of concern for their health and start a healthy diet or start the intake of multi-vitamins or consider going to the gym.

Even better, you can volunteer in our local events or may organize one in our society. You can also contribute to this day by simply spreading the word around about the importance of good health and ill-effects of an unbalanced lifestyle. With every year, the WHO comes with a different and compelling theme, but has always made sure to cover the most important issues, such as Staying active while ageing, Global Polio Eradication, including even road safety. Every such issue is deemed to be extremely important form the point of view of global health and so they deserved a special limelight of their very own on this day.

In the end, all I want to say on this World Health Day is that I would like to urge my society members to adopt a healthy lifestyle and also encourage others to do so because this is the way we can bring if not big but at least some glimpse of change in our immediate surroundings.

World Health Day speech in English

Dear fellow citizens,

On this World Health Day, we gather together to reflect on the importance of good health and well-being. The COVID-19 pandemic has been a stark reminder of the fragility of our health systems and the impact of infectious diseases on our lives. It has also highlighted the need for us to come together as a global community to tackle health challenges and build more resilient health systems.

The theme for this year’s World Health Day is “Building a Fairer, Healthier World”. This theme recognizes the disparities in access to healthcare that exist around the world, and the need to address these inequalities. We must work to ensure that everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status or geographic location, has access to the healthcare they need to live healthy and fulfilling lives.

We must also recognize that health is not just the absence of disease, but a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being. This requires us to address the social determinants of health, such as poverty, inequality, and discrimination. By promoting equity and addressing these underlying factors, we can build a fairer and healthier world for all.

As we continue to battle the COVID-19 pandemic, we mustn’t neglect other areas of healthcare. We must continue to invest in research and development, and ensure that essential health services, such as immunization and maternal health, are not disrupted. We must also continue to promote healthy behaviors, such as regular exercise and a balanced diet, to prevent non-communicable diseases.

In closing, let us remember that good health is a fundamental human right, and we all have a role to play in promoting and protecting it. Let us work together to build a fairer, healthier world, where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.

World Health Day Speech Writing

Today, we come together to celebrate World Health Day, a day that highlights the importance of good health and well-being for all. The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed the deep inequalities in our health systems and reminded us of the urgent need for us to come together as a global community to tackle health challenges.

As we look back on the past year, we can see the devastating impact that COVID-19 has had on our lives, our communities, and our economies. The pandemic has highlighted the critical role that healthcare workers play in keeping us safe and healthy and the need for us to invest in strong and resilient health systems. But it has also exposed the inequities in our healthcare systems, with some communities and populations bearing a disproportionate burden of illness and death.

Building a fairer and healthier world requires us to address these inequities head-on. We must ensure that everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status or geographic location, has access to the healthcare they need to live healthy and fulfilling lives. This means investing in primary healthcare, strengthening health systems, and providing universal health coverage. It also means addressing the social determinants of health, such as poverty, inequality, and discrimination.

We must also continue to promote healthy behaviors and prevent the spread of diseases. This requires us to educate people about the importance of regular exercise, a balanced diet, and good hygiene practices. We must also work to prevent non-communicable diseases, such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, by promoting healthy lifestyles and reducing exposure to risk factors.

Although we fight the COVID-19 pandemic, we must not disregard other aspects of healthcare. We must make certain that critical health services, such as immunization and maternity health, are not jeopardized. To increase our understanding of diseases and develop novel medicines and vaccinations, we must also invest in research and development.

Finally, let us remember that good health is a fundamental human right that we must all work to promote and safeguard. Let us work together to create a more equitable and healthy world in which everyone has the opportunity to prosper and fulfill their full potential.

Speech on World Health Day

Greetings everyone! Today, on the occasion of World Health Day, I feel immensely privileged to stand before this esteemed gathering and share my views on the importance of health and well-being. The theme for this year’s World Health Day is “Building a fairer, healthier world,” and it could not be more relevant than in today’s times. The COVID-19 pandemic has put a spotlight on inequalities that exist in health systems across the world, and it is our collective responsibility to work towards bridging these gaps.

Health is not just the absence of disease, but a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being. It is our birthright, and we must make every effort to safeguard it. However, in India, the healthcare sector presents several challenges that we need to address. Almost 70% of our population lives in rural areas, and access to quality healthcare is still a distant dream for many. Women and girls face additional challenges due to socio-economic and cultural disparities, and their health needs are often overlooked. In recent years, there has been some progress made, but we still have a long way to go.

COVID-19 has brought to the fore the importance of preparedness, response, and resilience of health systems. Our healthcare workers have been at the forefront of this battle, and they have demonstrated exceptional courage and dedication. They have put their lives on the line, and it is our responsibility to support them and ensure that they have access to adequate protective gear, equipment, and resources to do their job effectively. They are our real heroes, and we must acknowledge their contribution and express our gratitude.

As we observe World Health Day, let us take a moment to reflect on the lessons we have learned from the pandemic. It has shown that health is an essential public good, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure that everyone has access to it. It is not just the responsibility of the government or the healthcare sector but also of communities and individuals. We must work together to create a healthier world, and it begins with each one of us.

To build a fairer, healthier world, we need to address the inequities that exist in our society. We need to focus on the needs of the most vulnerable and marginalized sections of society, including women, children, and the elderly. We need to ensure that universal health coverage is a reality, and everyone has access to quality healthcare without financial hardship. We need to address the social determinants of health, such as poverty, education, housing, and environment, which have a significant impact on our well-being. We need to promote equitable distribution of resources, build strong health systems, and invest in research and innovation to tackle emerging challenges.

On this World Health Day, let us pledge to build a fairer, healthier world. Let us work towards creating a society where health is a fundamental right and not a privilege. Let us commit to doing our part to promote health and well-being, not just for ourselves but also for our communities and future generations. We have a long road ahead of us, but together, we can create a better world.

Thank you, everyone, for your attention, and I hope you will join me in this collective effort to build a fairer, healthier world. Stay safe and take care of yourself and your loved ones.

The history of World Day goes back to 1948. The World Health Organization felt the need to involve leading physicians from all over the world to make important decisions related to various health matters. It organized the World Health Assembly in 1948 for this purpose. It was the first World Health Assembly and had 194 member nations. The WHO is governed by its member states which have been elected to form the world's highest health policy-setting body.

The Health Minister of the member states is a part of this body. It was for the first time during the World Health Assembly that it was proposed to dedicate a special day for world health. All member states agreed that it was a good idea and April 7 was declared as World Health Day. The need for World Health Day was felt due to the increasing number of diseases worldwide. Many infectious diseases spread all the time in different parts of the world and lead to epidemics. This causes panic among people. Through the activities organized on World Health Day, people are made aware of various diseases and ways to avoid them.

In today's time, the biggest reason for people not to be healthy is consuming junk food. Many people prefer readymade food and outdoor food because they are tasty and easily available. Junk food is made of many types of chemicals. This is the biggest reason that so many diseases are introduced. If we want to stay healthy, then we should always eat healthy food and live a healthy lifestyle.

Today everyone's jobs are such that they need to sit in front of the laptop for hours. Even after returning home, they are stuck to television screens or mobile phones. Children are seen watching TV or phones for a long time. This is the root cause of various diseases. Children should take part in outdoor sports like cricket, football and badminton instead of sitting at home. They should be involved in physical activities like walking, running, cycling etc. It is good for our physical and mental health. People these days are so engrossed in their work that they have taken their health as secondary. World Health Day is celebrated to highlight the importance of making our health a priority. We will be able to handle other aspects of our life efficiently only when we are healthy. It has been rightly said that a healthy brain resides in a healthy body.

‘Act on the lessons of COVID-19’, Guterres says on Epidemic Preparedness Day

A health worker in Indonesia protects herself against infection as she prepares to treat a patient.

The world must prepare for the next pandemic and act on lessons learned from COVID-19, UN Secretary-General António Guterres said in a message on Wednesday to mark the International Day of Epidemic Preparedness .

The COVID-19 pandemic affected hundreds of millions of lives, caused millions of deaths and inflicted devastating impacts on humanity.

After three years of unprecedented global efforts, on 5 May the World Health Organization ( WHO )  declared an end to COVID-19 as a public health emergency, stressing however, that it does not mean the disease is no longer a global threat.

“Economic damage inflicted by the pandemic endures. Many healthcare systems are struggling. Millions of children are threatened by disease after missing out on routine childhood vaccinations,” said Mr. Guterres .

Lessons to learn

The UN chief noted that three years after the first COVID-19 vaccines were developed, billions of people remain unprotected - overwhelmingly in developing countries.

“When the next pandemic arrives, we must do better. But we’re not yet ready. We must prepare and act on the lessons of COVID-19,” he urged.

“We must renounce the moral and medical disaster of rich countries hoarding and controlling pandemic healthcare supplies, and ensure everyone has access to diagnostics, treatments and vaccines,” he stressed, adding that WHO’s authority and financing must also be strengthened.

Joint efforts

He said the way forward lies through global cooperation. The world must improve surveillance of viruses, strengthen health systems, and make the promise of Universal Health Coverage a reality.

The Secretary-General said these efforts are making progress. He recalled that the High-level meeting on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response, held in September, concluded with a robust political declaration which complements negotiations underway towards a pandemic accord.

This first-ever global agreement aims to enhance collaboration, cooperation, and equity in responding to pandemics of the future, WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in his end-of-year message published on Tuesday.

The pandemic accord will help to create a safer and healthier world with a universal system of response to disease eruptions, he added.

Mr. Guterres urged countries to build on this momentum by delivering a strong, comprehensive accord, focused on equity.

“Together, let’s act on the lessons of COVID-19, prepare, and build a fairer, healthier world for all,” he said.

Good morning members present in the house. Greetings, my name is Shaira (your name) from Standard 12 (your class). Today, I will give a short speech on World Mental Health Day.

On October 10, 1992, World Mental Health Day was celebrated for the first time. The then Deputy Secretary General of WFMH, Richard Hunter took the initiative to celebrate this day.

World Mental Health Day was celebrated with a theme for the first time in 1994. The theme was “Improving the Quality of Mental Health Services throughout the World”, which was suggested by then Secretary General Eugene Brody.

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit the mental health of all, which gave rise to short and long-term stresses.

According to a UN report, there is a 25% rise in both anxiety and depressive disorders during the first year of the pandemic. Fuelling the crisis, mental health services too came to standstill as manpower was shifted to diagnose covid. This disrupted services and the treatment gap for mental health conditions widened.

Even In high-income countries, over three-fourths of people with depression report that they do not receive adequate care. The case is worse in low and middle-income countries. This pathetic situation is another man-made crisis as governments across the globe spend an average of just over 2 percent of their health budgets on mental health.

But after a long wait, the world is slowly recognizing that there can be no health without mental health.

Good morning members present in the house. Greetings, my name is Shaira (use your name), a graduate-level student (replace it with your degree). Today is World Mental Health Day, and I’ll be speaking a few lines on the topic.

World Mental Health is celebrated to raise awareness about mental health, which most neglect primarily. It is celebrated on the 10th of October.

Mental health conditions can have a negative impact on all areas of life, irrespective of age, profession, or even in relationships with family and friends. Depression and anxiety cost the global economy US$ 1 trillion each year.

In recent years, there has been increasing acceptance of the important role mental health plays in achieving set goals. Sadly, Depression is one of the leading causes of disability. Suicide is the fourth leading cause of death among youths. Most People with severe mental health conditions die prematurely – as much as two decades early – due to preventable physical conditions.

To bring down the fatality of mental health-related cases, WHO began the WHO Special Initiative for Mental Health (2019-2023): Universal Health Coverage for Mental Health to guarantee access to quality and affordable care for mental health conditions in 12 countries, covering 100 million people.

The agenda of this scheme is that an additional 100 million people get access to quality and affordable mental health care by the year 2023. The Initiative will be implemented in these 12 countries, whereas Eight have already been identified. They are Bangladesh, Ghana, Jordan, Nepal, Paraguay, the Philippines, Ukraine, and Zimbabwe. These nations have already initiated a survey to get the bigger picture of mental health needs, services that need to be made available, opportunities, and main challenges.

The policy being developed are dependent on the results of the initial assessments. The assessment indicates the following: include improving mental health policy, and advancing services in both community-based general health settings and specialist settings.

But, after all the awareness and programs, mental health issues are still considered a stigma, and discrimination continues to be a challenge to social involvement and access to the right care.

Lastly, the pandemic has and continues to, take its toll on everyone’s mental health, but the ability to reconnect through World Mental Health Day 2022 will give us the platform and provide an opportunity to rekindle our efforts to protect and improve the mental health of all beings.

Celebrated on 7 th  April every year, the World Health Day is a global health awareness day celebrated under the funding and the support of the World Health Organization (WHO) and other similar organizations. We all know that health is the real wealth without which we cannot accomplish our goals in life; therefore the day is celebrated to highlight its importance.

However, it’s often observed that people face problem in delivering a speech on world health day, may be due to lack of information or inability to frame a coherent speech. But don’t you worry as you can go through our samples and examples on the world health day speech. We keep the language very simple yet standard; our short speech on world health day and long speech on world health day help students (may also help doctors/medical professionals, if required) to deliver speech on world health day.
