Out of all the Quincy Weapons in Type Soul , only a couple aren’t that good at the moment. Each weapon has its own unique playstyle, so you may want to try each one out until you know which is best for you. Here are all Quincy Weapons in Type Soul :

• Antithesis – Decent crit-weapon but with a lacking stun proc.
• Cang Du Claws – Cang Du Claws is a strong weapon, but falls short of Warden.
• Cutlass – The Cutlass is a solid fast-attack weapon, but not quite as good some other Quincy weapon choices.
• Glock – This used to be one of the best weapons in Type Soul , but recent nerfs have made this gun not too practical for actual use.
• Quilge – The Quilge weapon has some very powerful M1s, making it a solid choice for any Quincy.
• Schwert – The Schwert is a ranged crit-based weapon.
• Warden – This high-chaining weapon is arguably the best in Type Soul at the moment, and all Quincy players should probably be using it. Best Hakuda weapon in the game.

Fans are left with a lot of questions about Uryu Ishida's shocking decision to join the deadly Yhwach and become a Sternritter. Of Ichigo Kurosaki's many friends, Uryu is among the most powerful and the most intriguing. The series shows his tremendous growth in every arc, making him all the more likable. In terms of strength, Uryu is Ichigo's only friend who can regularly fight side-by-side with him.

Ishida's Betrayal in Bleach Was Neither Random Nor Unexpected

Uryu Ishida begins acting uncharacteristically right at the start of the "Thousand-Year Blood War" arc, and Bleach drops a few hints that something will happen between him and Ichigo. Orihime, for example, points out that she's glad Ichigo and Uryu are close friends now. During his battle with one of the Quincy, Ichigo himself remarks that he hasn't been attacked with Uryu's arrow for a long time, setting the possibility for a future clash between the two. However, Uryu suddenly declines to go to Hueco Mundo to help Dondochakka, saying that the Quincy exist to defeat hollows.

Considering Uryu didn't hesitate to work with Hollows in the past, this rejection seemingly comes out of nowhere. He'd also previously fought alongside Pesche, Dondochakka, and Nel to save Orihime. Despite how much he loathed the Soul Reapers in the "Soul Society" arc, Uryu was genuinely worried about Nemu being mistreated by Mayuri Kurotsuchi. The young Quincy has always tried to help those in a weaker position, therefore it was all the more confusing to see him refuse to help a former comrade.

Uryu never previously distinguished among races and, despite being rather aloof, always did his best to help those in need. Why Uryu Ishida Betrays His Friends in Bleach

After his separation from the group, Uryu insists on learning about the history of the Quincy — despite his father's countless efforts to stop him. His research turns up a rather shocking piece of information regarding his mother's death. Though she supposedly died from some sort of illness, she actually passed away because of Yhwach's Auswählen (Holy Selection). Incredibly, Ichigo and Uryu both lost their mother on the same day because Yhwach decided to steal their powers for himself.

As a result, Masaki Kurosaki died from a lack of power in her fight with Grand Fisher. Kanae Katagiri, who always had a weak body, died from her sudden loss of energy. Therefore, Uryu joined the Sternritter and even became Yhwach's successor in a plot to infiltrate the Wandenreich Empire and act as a double agent for the Soul Society.

To prove he really was on Yhwach's side, Uryu attacked his "former" friends head-on, declaring he would deal with them before Yhwach woke up. In truth, Uryu had deduced a key weakness in Yhwach and learned the villain is not invincible as everyone had believed. As long as Yhwach shares his Almighty ability with Jugram, he could potentially be defeated. Through this discovery, Uryu did achieve the initial goal behind his supposed betrayal.

Why Yhwach Chose Uryu as His Successor

Yhwach choosing Uryu as his successor was even more surprising to Bleach fans than the latter joining him in the first place. The mighty villain is a shrewd character who thinks of his subordinates as mere tools, never trusting anyone except his right-hand man Jugram Haschwalth . By many counts, Jugram — the strongest Sternritter and the one who shares Yhwach's ultimate power — should be the successor. Yhwach is impressed by Uryu as well, however, especially considering he's the only "impure" Quincy to have survived the Holy Selection nine years prior.

Therefore, Yhwach declares Uryu as his successor in front of his entire army and even bestows the letter "A" on him, giving immeasurable powers to the young Quincy. The letter stands for "Antithesis," which literally translates to "Perfect Anti-Setup". With this power, Uryu can reverse anything that happens between any two targets. For example, if he is injured by an opponent in battle, he can easily transfer his condition to that person, simultaneously healing himself.

Though Yhwach never outright explains why he chose Uryu as his successor, Jugram is perceptive enough to see his intentions. He explains that Uryu only received the honor so he'd be in a position where everyone else could keep an eye on him. Yhwach is by no means a gullible individual, so he probably saw through Uryu's "betrayal" from the start. Instead of directly killing his descendant, however, Yhwach decides to put him on a pedestal and give his subordinate Jugram a chance to deal with him. In the end, however, Uryu didn't betray Ichigo.

Since his anime debut in 2004, Ichigo Kurosaki has faced a plethora of foes, such as Hollows, Soul Reapers, Arrancars and Fullbringers. Now, after a decade long hiatus, fans of Bleach will finally be able to watch as the Soul Society faces off against their sworn enemies, the Quincies.

After the decimation of the Quincies by the Soul Reapers, they were thought to be extinct, but now the Quincies are back and have formed the Sternritter, an organization whose goal is to purge the world of Soul Reapers. Under the command of the original Quincy, Yhwach, the Sternritter have been gifted additional abilities through Schrifts given to them by Yhwach. These abilities are powerful enough to rival even the most powerful Soul Reapers.

"Z-The Zombie"

The Schrift of Giselle Gewelle "The Zombie" grants her the ability to create and control, as the name suggests, zombies. Anyone who comes into contact with her blood runs the risk of falling under her influence. Additionally, Giselle also has the ability to heal herself and her zombies making her nearly impossible to kill.

The only limitation of "the Zombie" is that, in order to control more powerful foes, Giselle needs to use more of her own blood. But her ability to heal herself using pieces of dead corpses nullifies this weakness, allowing her to take over the bodies of powerful captains and lieutenants of the Gotei 13 and repurpose the carnage that they cause to heal herself and control more zombies, creating a vicious cycle.

"X-The X-Axis"

There are some people who would say that a gun doesn't belong in a world of magic and swords. Those people haven't heard of Lille Barro, "The X-Axis." Lille's skill with his rifle coupled with the Schrift gifted him by Yhwach make him a considerable foe on the battlefield.

Lille has no need for bullets, instead it simply penetrates anything and everything between the muzzle and the target. This attack is impossible to block and Lille's skill as a marksman makes it nearly impossible to dodge. However, his secondary ability is even more terrifying. "The X-Axis" allows Lille to "pierce" his enemies attacks, essentially keeping him from being hit at all. Luckily, Lille's pride prevents him from using it because it would be "unfair.

"V-The Visionary"

Of all of the Sternritter, Gremmy Thoumeaux ranks as one of the most powerful. His Schrift, "The Visionary," allows him to make whatever he can imagine into a reality. He can use this power to create or destroy matter, transform his opponents or even create entire beings.

As powerful of an ability this is, Gremmy is limited in what he can create and has to be extremely careful. If he imagines something dangerous that may benefit him without also imagining safeguards to protect himself, the results may be catastrophic. For example, imagining that he has incredible strength, without imagining bones strong enough to use those muscles can cause his bones to break.

"S-The Superstar"

While he may seem to be a simple brute with immense physical strength, Mask De Masculine has one of the most unique powerset of all of the Sternritter. His Schrift "The Superstar" grants him even more power when he has an audience cheering for him.

This boost can be negated by destroying his audience, but that might prove to be difficult given that Mask's No. 1 fan, James, is immortal as long as Mask is alive. If ripped into multiple pieces, James can reconstitute his body from each of the individual pieces. Each of those James clones add to Masks audience, increasing his strength exponentially with each clone.

"L-The Love"

While there are multiple Quincy who have the power to manipulate their foes, only one can do so with the power of love. PePe Waccabrada, designated with the Schrift called "The Love" has the capability to make anyone fall in love with him to the point where they will follow his every order.

PePe's abilities aren't limited to just living breathing creatures, but anything that has a soul. While this may seem like a strange caveat, the danger of this statement becomes much more apparent when one remembers that Zanpakuto possess souls of their own. By causing an opponents Zanpakuto to fall in love with him, PePe can turn a Soul Reaper's most trusted ally against them.

"E-The Explode"

In the world of Bleach, nearly every ability can cause some sort of explosion, but none in quite the same way as Bambietta Basterbine. After receiving her Schrift, "The Explode," Bambietta gained the ability to transform anything that comes into contact with her reishi into a bomb.

Because of her unconventional explosives, Bambietta's attacks can't be blocked. If someone attempts to deflect her reishi, the object used will simply turn into a bomb and explode. If the target dodges the reishi but doesn't get out of the blast radius quick enough they will be caught up in the explosion. In spite of this, the Explode is not unbeatable. Bambietta's explosions can be delayed if intercepted by an object that can suspend reishi, if only momentarily.

"D-The Deathdealing"

Potentially one of the most intelligent and terrifying Sternritter, Askin Nakk Le Vaar has the potential to end even the most powerful captains of the soul society. His Schrift, "The Deathdealing," grants him the power to alter the lethal dose of a substance in his, or his enemy's body by ingesting the substance himself.

This may seem like a somewhat niche power that would be great if used for covert assassinations and poisonings, but too much of any substance can become a "lethal dose." So, if Askin were to ingest some of someone's blood and then use the Deathdealing to lower the amount of blood that his opponent can healthily have in their body, they will overdose on their own blood.

"B-The Balance"

As Yhwach's right hand man, Jugram Haschwalth was gifted one of the most poweful Schrifts to help maintain balance in his master's domain. "The Balance" alters the fortunes of all of those in Haschwalth's vicinity. Those who have misfortune are granted fortune and those that are fortunate receive terrible misfortune.

While this may seem like it would cause all battles to end in a stalemate, Haschwalth has an ace hidden up his sleeve that will almost guarantee his victory. When the Balance would cause misfortune to befall Haschwalth, it is instead absorbed into his Freund Schild. As if that wasn't enough, he can that take that misfortune and deal it to opponent, dealing massive damage.

"A-The Antithesis"

When Yhwach gave Uryu Ishida his Schrift, he declared that Uryu would succeed him as the ruler of the Sternritter. His Schrift, "The Antithesis,"(the same letter as Yhwach's own Schrift) is meant to symbolize this and give Uryu an edge when dealing with other Sternritter that might attack Uryu before his actual purpose is fulfilled.

The Antithesis reverse events that have already happened between two points. For example, if Uryu is wounded, he can reverse events and cause his opponent to be wounded instead. Yet because this power reverses events and not attacks, Uryu has the potential to steal events that benefitted his foes or even grievously wound himself and then reverse events with a foe whose defenses are too strong for Uryu to penetrate otherwise.

"A-The Almighty"

As the leader and progenitor of all Quincy, it is no surprise that Yhwach has what is possibly the most powerful ability in the Bleach canon. "The Almighty" gives Yhwach the deadly combination of omniscience and nigh omnipotence.

Unlike many characters that see one inevitable future, Yhwach sees all possible futures and by extension, all incoming attacks. He uses this knowledge to get an advantage over his opponents by setting traps and attacking where he knows that they will be. But the greatest power of the almighty is the power to actually re-write the future and erase his own death. With this power, Yhwach posses a massive threat to Ichigo and the Soul Society .

15 Quilge Opie

Quilge has an authoritative and unforgiving personality, showing no mercy in battle to those who dare defy him. The schirft which was bestowed upon him by Ywach is the letter J which stands for “The Jail,” and it granted him the ability to create Reishi cages that are almost impossible to escape from once trapped inside, he can also create constructs that are capable of closing down portals and gateways that connect different dimensions.

The trapped individual’s presence and reiatsu are also sealed off from the outside. The cage is nigh impenetrable and will still continue to exist even after Quilge’s death. It is so strong that even a point-blank bankai Getsuga Tensho from Ichigo did not get it to budge.

14 Bambietta Basterbine

Bambietta is a very sadistic person, who derives joy in the screams of her enemies, she also does not fight people who have forfeited their lives, seeing as it won’t be as satisfying as plunging them into despair. She possesses the schrift E called “The Explode,” which allows her to create reishi that turns anything they come in contact with into bombs.

She can also create an explosion around herself which can level the environment around her. She can also enhance her schrift ability when using Vollstandig, making a single bomb explosion strong enough to injure Shinji Hirako.

13 Meninas McAllon

Meninas can summon a great amount of strength by using the schrift P she was bestowed with, known as “The Power”. She has demonstrated incredible feats of strength, such as effortlessly overpowering Ichigo, even if it was for a short period, lifting entire buildings, smashing through barriers, and delivering devastating blows in combat.

She also possesses enhanced durability in addition to her raw strength, capable of withstanding powerful attacks and injuries that could decapitate weaker individuals, which makes her a formidable adversary on the battlefield. She can also drastically increase her muscle mass for a more dramatic effect.

12 Giselle Gewelle

Giselle is a goofy character outside of battle, but that personality can quickly change when she is in battle, becoming very cruel and sadistic even though she denies it. Her schrift Z for “The Zombie” allows her to control the bodies of whoever she gets her blood on. She can order them to do anything she wants, as shown when she took over various Death Reapers and made them attack each other during the Sternritters’ siege of Soul Society.

The amount of blood required depends on the reiatsu level of the victim. She can also heal herself and her comrades by replacing their flesh with the flesh of the deceased. She can even replace lost body parts too.

11 Gremmy Thoumeaux

Gremmy is a prideful Sternritter who believes that he is the strongest of them all. He is confident in his abilities, and rightly so, his shrift V for “The Visionary” allows him to turn his imagination to reality, enabling him to create and manipulate anything he can imagine.

His power extends to altering the fabric of reality itself, enabling him to materialize objects, manipulate the environment and conjure powerful weapons at will. He can clone himself and even go as far as creating sentient life. He is strong enough to keep up with the monstrous Kenpachi Zaraki, and that in itself is a very great feat.

Given the special title “The Heat,” Bazz-B possesses abilities related to powerful flames that can overpower the strongest of opponents. His fire is strong enough to counter that of Captain-Commander Yamamoto Genryusai , though he was still visibly affected. On the other hand, he was able to overpower the combined force of Rangiku Matsumoto and Tōshirō Hitsugaya, two captain-level shinigami, though the latter had lost his bankai.

He has a wide range of abilities, most of which are fire-based and denoted by the number of fingers he employs. They provide a decent amount of utility and usually increase in power with the more fingers he uses.

9 Äs Nödt

Äs Nödt’s title is “The Fear.” It represents not only the nature of his abilities but also the emotion that constantly plagued him before he joined Yhwach. His spirit weapon allows him to manipulate thorns and can induce a fatal amount of fear into opponents upon contact.

During the first invasion of the soul society, he stole Captain Byakuya Kuchiki’s bankai and inflicted him with fear using the thorns of his spirit weapon. As a result, he was able to defeat the powerful captain, crushing him both physically and mentally. During the second invasion, however, he was confronted by Rukia Kuchiki, and due to the nature of her bankai and ice powers, she emerged victorious.

8 Royd Lloyd

Possessing the title of ”The Yourself,” Royd has the ability to perfectly replicate the appearance, personality, and memories of other beings, allowing him to assume their identities flawlessly. This ability saw most of its use during the first invasion of the soul society, where Royd assumed the identity of Quincy King Yhwach.

Despite only being able to replicate appearances, Royd effortlessly defeated 11th Division Captain Kenpachi Zaraki, a shinigami considered one of the Special War Powers. He was consequently able to hold his own against Yamamoto Genryusai and weakened him enough for the real Yhwach to arrive and dispatch the Captain-Commander.

7 Pernida Parnkgjas

Pernida was granted the title "The Compulsory," but it is truly the left hand of the Soul King . Before joining the ranks of the quincy, it already possessed special abilities, making it one of the only two of its kind. It also belongs to a special force within the Sternritter known as the Schutzstaffel, serving as one of Yhwach's most powerful officers.

Pernida's main ability allows it to manipulate matter, inorganic or organic, by extending its nerves towards its target. Using this ability, it forced Kenpachi Zaraki to tear off his arm and drove 12th Division Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi into a corner. Had it not been for the erratic nature of Mayuri's abilities, Pernida would have been an even more troublesome opponent.

6 Askin Nakk Le Vaar

Askin’s special title is ”The Deathdealing.” It allows him to manipulate the lethal dose of any substance or attack as long as he has been exposed to it at least once. This ability can be used in various ways, in one case granting him an impressive healing factor, and in another granting him immunity to otherwise powerful attacks.

He was able to partly incapacitate powerful figures such as Ichigo Kurosaki and Yoruichi Shihouin , using his deathdealing on both occasions. It ended up taking the combined might of Yoruichi, Kisuke Urahara, and Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez to finally defeat him.

5 Lille Barro

Despite his perpetually closed left eye, Lille Barro is an excellent marksman. He was given the title of “The X-Axis” and he has the power to hit anything within his rifle's line of sight with unfailing accuracy. This power is further aided by the fact that it does not require tangible ammunition and cannot naturally be blocked by any defense.

He is the leader of the Schutzstaffel and possesses strength expected of one with his rank. During his fight against the new Captain-Commander Shunsui Kyōraku, he masterfully combined his different strengths and significantly injured the Gotei 13 commander . However, after the intervention of Nanao Ise, he was partly defeated and proceeded to clone himself, spreading his offshoots across the area.

4 Uryu Ishida

Uryū Ishida is the quincy that Bleach fans are most familiar with. He went through a lot of different changes throughout the series, but his most significant change arguably occured after he joined the ranks of the Sternritter. Becoming one of Yhwach’s subordinates, his successor, and a member of the Schutzstaffel. Uryū was given the title of “Antithesis.“

Uryū was originally one of Ichigo’s most powerful comrades, being able to manifest his own spirit weapon and fighting alongside him in difficult battles. However after receiving his new powers, he became capable of even more. His title grants him the ability to swap the current state of two selected targets , a power which allowed him to overpower grandmaster Jugram Haschwalth even if only momentarily.

3 Gerard Valkyrie

Along with Pernida Parnkgjas, Gerard is also a being with powers that precede his involvement with the quincy. He is the heart of the Soul King and holds the title of “The Miracle.” This ability allows him to overcome hopeless situations, granting him the power to manifest miracles which usually serve to augment his physical state.

He simultaneously fought against some of the series’ most powerful captains for an extended duration, relying on his miracle ability which enabled him to grow larger. He was eventually overpowered by a bankai-form Kenpachi but activated his Vollständig soon after. In an astounding display of strength, his solo battle against the multiple captains did not end in a loss. However, he ended up being recalled by Yhwach, signaling an end to the confrontation.

2 Jugram Haschwalth

Haschwalth is the second in command of the Quincy after Yhwach, acting as his advisor and commonly being referred to as the Sternritter Grandmaster. He was bestowed the title and ability of "The Balance," holding the power to transfer misfortune between individuals within a specific area.

In addition, he gains a fraction of Yhwach's power while the Quincy King is asleep, making him a much more formidable opponent during this period. In the final battle against Ichigo, he is seen using it several times to wound the unsuspecting protagonist, going as far as breaking his sword immediately after he achieved true bankai .

Yhwach had the ability to share part of his soul with other Quincy to empower them from when he was born. [3] At some point in his later life, Yhwach discovered how to improve upon this ability and thus grant unique powers to other Quincy. [4] Lille Barro was the first Quincy to ever be bestowed a Schrift by Yhwach. [5]
