Carryforward Add-on:

The Carryforward add-on allows you to carry your unused local minutes forward for 3 months. This plan is only applicable with Business First Plans.

For example: If you have subscribed to the Carryforward Add-on AED 10/month plan on the 1st of Jan then you will carry over your unused minutes for 3 months i.e. you will able to use the remaining allowances from Jan until 30th April and Feb remaining allowances until 31st May.

Once you have subscribed to the add-on, you will automatically be charged AED 10/month until you choose to unsubscribe. 

Should you migration to Prepaid Plan, you will automatically lose your Carryforward allowances. 

The Carryforward allowances i.e. minutes have 1st priority of consumption.

Penalty Free Service:

Customer can exit the service contract within a maximum period of 5 days from activation without penalty charges (i.e. exit charges) if the service contract was mis-sold or the provided service did not comply with the service terms and conditions.

Q.  How does the Carryforward feature in Business First Plus work?

A. The key advantage of this plan starting at AED 110 is that you can carryforward its benefits for 3 months. This means, if you have subscribed to this plan on the 1st of Jan, you are authorized to carryforward the plan’s benefits to ensure all of the remainder allowances of the current month are used until the 30th of April. Similarly, this would continue for the next month, 1st of February until 31st May.

Q.  Can I downgrade/upgrade between Business First Plus base plans?

A. If you are upgrading or downgrading within the Business First Plus Flavors, no exit charges would apply if the online offer has not been redeemed. 

In the case that the online offer has been redeemed, you can upgrade/downgrade to plans only after the completion of the promotional period of two months with the contract being reset and exit charges being applied.

Q. Can I subscribe to any other add-on with an existing add-on activated?

A. Yes, absolutely. Each of the add-ons are independent in nature and users can pick and choose whichever add-ons they require to tailor their plans to suit their requirements.

Q.  What are the exit charges?

A. Exit charges applicable for device and base plans as per the following:

       (i) Exit from the Base Plan only – 1-month of base plan rental fee.

       (ii) Exit from Base plan with a Device - 1-month base plan rental fee + remainder months of rental for device.

Etisalat, the UAE’s leading telecom services provider, has launched new shared mobile data plans for multiple users, for the first time in the region.

Business DataShare allows businesses to access mobile data over range of devices including smartphones, tablets and laptops. Businesses can enjoy freedom from individual employee subscriptions and choose from smaller data packs such as 5GB and as their business grows, the size of data packs can go up to 30GB per month.

Business DataShare packs facilitate sharing of data among multiple users. Starting at Dh249 per month, the packs are available at a minimal incremental charge per user. Business can choose to link up to eight users to the pool.

Commenting on the new shared data packs, John Lincoln, senior vice-president, Business Marketing, etisalat UAE, said: “We thoroughly understand the communication needs of the business community. Businesses cannot afford to compromise on efficiency while balancing the costs. Access to mobile data plays a critical role and is an integral necessity for successful businesses.

“This is why Business DataShare has been designed in such a way that the dynamic demands and requirements of UAE’s business customers are met by allowing them to share one pool of data with multiple users. The sharable data packs enable business owner to stay online and connected while in the office or on the go.

“They can surf, check emails and download files in real-time to increase productivity and optimise cost of running business. The launch of Business DataShare further strengthens etisalat’s position as a pioneer of innovative business solutions.”

Existing business customers of etisalat as well as new customers with mobile number that start with either 055 or 052 can avail of the offer.

This unique offer is in line with Etisalat’s on-going strategy of offering added value packages for business customers. Etisalat’s 4G LTE network covers 85 per cent of the inhabited area of the country and allows users of 4G devices to connect to the internet at speeds up to 150 Mbps.

Etisalat launches new data plans

Daily unlimited data for only Dh5

Abu Dhabi: Etisalat announced the launch of the UAE’s first ever unlimited daily and 100MB weekly data plans for new and existing Wasel prepaid mobile customers. The new plans, which will be available from today, give more choice and control to mobile Prepaid Internet users. The newly-announced plans are priced at a daily rate of Dh5 for an unlimited data plan and Dh20 for a generous 100MB weekly data plan.

Etisalat has also reduced the monthly plan and pack charges to a lower monthly rate of Dh99 instead of Dh145 for 1GB data and Dh249 instead of Dh295 for 5GB data. Data usage out of bundle rates for 100MB weekly or 1GB/5GB monthly plans are Dh1/1MB.

Designed for customers who want seamless data usage, each of the daily, weekly and monthly prepaid data plans provide customers with auto-renewal feature to save time and effort. Once the initial subscription expires, automatic renewal will occur from the next time the customer accesses the Internet.

Khalid Al Khouly, Chief Marketing Officer at etisalat, said, “People in the UAE are increasingly consuming the internet using their smartphone devices or tablets for surfing the web and staying in touch with friends or colleagues through emails, messengers or social networking sites. The new price points for the daily and weekly plans make data affordable for everyone to use to their desired content. Our customers can conveniently stay connected and download content throughout the day without feeling a strain on their pockets. We are confident that, with our reliable Internet connectivity across the UAE and now these affordable plans, we are greatly improving the value proposition to all of our customers.”

The new mobile Internet plans can be purchased by sending an SMS to ‘1010’ for a cost of 30 fils per SMS. Send “DP” for the unlimited daily plan, “WP” for 100MB weekly plan, “M1G” for the 1GB month plan and “M5G” for the 5GB monthly plan.
