How to create and use a Facebook Review Link

If you’re a business owner, you know all about the importance of online reviews. They provide social proof to help attract new customers and boost your bottom line. While there are many review sites out there, one of the most popularly used platforms is Facebook.

As a business owner, you want to make it easy for customers to leave reviews. The best way to do this is by sharing a Facebook review link. This post discusses how you can utilize the functionality available for reviews on Facebook for business and create a review link.

Free Guide: 10 Tips To Get More Customers From Facebook

What is a facebook review link.

A Facebook review link is a unique URL you create to make it easy for customers to leave reviews on your Facebook page. When customers click the link, they’ll be taken directly to the review form on your Facebook page.

Using a review link makes it easy for customers to leave reviews, and it also helps you track how many reviews you’re getting. However, creating a Facebook review link is a slightly tricky task. Unlike Google My Business, you cannot simply copy a direct link.

Before we talk about creating a review link, make sure that there is a Reviews Tab on your business account. If you don’t have it, go to the About tab on the top left-hand side of your page and click on Edit Page Info. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Add a Tab. Then, select Reviews from the list of available tabs.

Now that you have the Reviews Tab, it’s time to create your Facebook review link.

How to create a Facebook review link

The biggest issue with sharing the default Facebook review link is that users need to be logged in to access it. If users click on the link without logging in first, they will be redirected to another page. This can be incredibly confusing and frustrating.

To bypass this issue, you need to modify the review link. Follow these simple steps to see how.

Step 1: Start with the URL for the Facebook login page. This will ensure that the customers are prompted to log in first before jumping to the review page.

You will start with the following URL: https://www.facebook.com/login/

Step 2: We need to ensure that once the customers log in, they are redirected to your review page instead of their Facebook feed. To do this, we need to add the “next” command in the login page URL.

The URL should look like this: https://www.facebook.com/login/?next=

Step 3: We need to add the link for the review page after the “next” command. This will instruct Facebook that the customer should be taken to your review page.

Keep in mind that copying the URL of your Facebook business page after the abovementioned URL will not work. Instead, you will need to convert it into HTML code. Here’s what the final URL should look like for ABC company:

https://www.facebook.com/login/?next=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2F ABC %2Freviews%2F

To create this link for your page, you can simply replace the characters in  bold (i.e., ABC) with the business name listed on your Facebook account. To get this, you will have to go to your Facebook page and copy the URL after https://www.facebook.com/ from the address bar.

For example, the URL for Broadly’s Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/getbroadly .

Therefore, the review link for Broadly’s Facebook page will look like this:

https://www.facebook.com/login/?next=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2F getbroadly %2Freviews%2F

How to use a Facebook review link

Using a review link is very easy. All you need to do is share it with your customers. You can create a template to share it through email, SMS, WhatsApp, social media, or other marketing channels. Once the customers click on the link, they will be taken directly to your Facebook page’s review section.

How to embed Facebook review links

Once you have the review link, you can embed it on your website homepage or blog. This allows your customers to leave reviews without having to go to Facebook.

Here are the steps that you need to follow:

Step 1: Copy the HTML code of the review link and paste it into a text editor such as Microsoft Word or Notepad.

Step 2: Select the text where you want to embed the link, click on Ctrl/Command + K and copy the HTML code.

Once the link is embedded, customers will be able to access it directly by clicking on the text.

Why do i need Facebook reviews?

Here are some reasons why Facebook reviews are essential for your business:

  • Attract more customers: Customers are more likely to trust a business with positive reviews and testimonials. A recent study shows that 92% of customers are more likely to purchase from companies with online reviews than those who don’t.
  • Boost your SEO: Google considers reviews when ranking local businesses in search results. So the more positive reviews you have, the higher you’re likely to rank.
  • Build social proof: Reviews help build social proof, which is the idea that other people’s opinions can influence our own. When potential customers see that others have had a positive experience and left 5-star reviews for your business, they’re more likely to give you a try.
  • Generate leads: Facebook reviews can also act as a lead generation tool. When customers leave positive reviews, their friends and followers will see it and may be encouraged to check out your business.
  • Improve customer service: Reviews can help you identify opportunities to improve your customer service. If you see a trend of negative reviews, it’s a sign that you need to make some changes.

How to get more Facebook reviews

Let’s look at some of the best ways to get Facebook reviews :

  • Email marketing campaign: You can use email to reach out to customers and ask them to leave a review. Be sure to include a link to your review page.
  • Social media: You can also promote your review link on social media. Post it on your Facebook page, share it in tweets and include it in your Instagram bio.
  • Try in-store promotion: If you have a physical location, you can also promote your review link there. Add it to receipts, business cards, and any other marketing materials.
  • Offer incentives: Encourage customers to leave reviews by offering incentives like discounts or coupons. Just be sure that you’re not violating Facebook’s rules by engaging in review gating or offering bribes for reviews.
  • Engage with reviews: One of the best ways to get more reviews is to simply engage with the ones you already have. Respond to both positive and negative reviews, thank customers for their feedback and address any concerns they may have.
  • Use Facebook ads: As reviews directly come from customers, a great way to increase the number of reviews is by growing your customer base. For this, you can use Facebook ads to promote your business. Through Facebook recommendations , you can target people who live in your area and who have recently interacted with your business on Facebook.
  • Try review requests: It is easy to get lost in tricky Facebook marketing activities and forget that you can simply ask customers for reviews. As per available data , about 68% of the customers are willing to leave reviews if asked.

About Facebook recommendations former Facebook reviews

Facebook Recommendations are a feature on Facebook that allows users to provide feedback about their experiences with businesses, services, or products.

Unlike traditional star-rated reviews, Recommendations enable users to simply recommend or not recommend a business to their friends and network. These Recommendations can include written feedback, photos, and tags, creating a more comprehensive and social form of review. This feature integrates directly into a business’s Facebook Page, making it easier for potential customers to see authentic opinions and experiences shared by real users.

Note: Facebook’s ‘Recommendations’ feature is the evolution of the older ‘Reviews’ system, and you can still find it under the ‘Reviews’ tab of Facebook pages. However, instead of using the old star rating system, buyers recommend (or not) a product or a business, share a written opinion, and leave tags and images (should they choose to).

How to get your Facebook Reviews page link?

Google My Business has made getting a  Google review link  easy, but getting a Facebook review link will be a bit different. No worries, we’ll show you two easy ways to do it!

Option 1: Copy the reviews page URL

To get your Facebook Reviews link, you have to follow two simple steps:

  • Log in to your Facebook page —start by logging into your Facebook account and navigating to your official business page;
  • Add ‘/review’ to your page URL —find the browser address bar, click at the end of it, and then simply type ‘/review’ after your page URL;
  • Copy the URL to share it —simply copy the entire string you see in the address bar for future use. For instance, https://www.facebook.com/embedreviews/reviews is EmbedSocial’s Facebook Reviews page link – as shown below:

facebook reviews url

Congratulations, you have it!

Now, share the Reviews link of your Facebook business page across the internet, such as on your website, in emails, in your newsletters, or on your social media platforms, i.e., anywhere you see a chance to invite your customers to review you.

Note: When sending the link, also add a brief explanation on  how your customers can leave you a Facebook review for your product and services.

Option 2: Build your own direct Facebook review link

What if your customers are not logged into their personal or business accounts? If you send them the above link, they’ll be asked to log into Facebook first, which may discourage them from reviewing your business. No worries, here’s a solution to that:

  • Utilize the Facebook login URL ->  www.facebook.com/login/
  • Put a redirect to your reviews page by adding “next” ->  www.facebook.com/login/?next=
  • Convert your page URL into the corresponding equivalent in HTML and add it after the “next” component ->  https://www.facebook.com/login/?next=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fembedreviews%2Freviews%2F

As you can see, it’s not complicated at all! Just replace the colon (:) with %3A and the slash (/) with %2F. That way, whenever the customer logs in to their account, they’ll be redirected to your reviews page. Works like a charm every time!

How can your customers leave you Facebook reviews?

Since the introduction of the ‘Recommendations’ review system, your clients will no longer have to select a number of stars to describe your products and/or services. They only have to navigate to your page’s ‘Reviews’ tab or follow the above ‘Reviews’ link.

write facebook review

Once there, they only have to tap ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ under the ‘Do you recommend [your business name]’ message. Then, the ‘Recommendation’ box will open and prompt users to share their thoughts about your business. They’ll have to write at least 25 characters.

As users leave you new reviews, they will start appearing at the top of the ‘Reviews’ tab feed of your Facebook business page.

How to respond to your Facebook reviews?

You must respond to all (or most of) your Facebook reviews, both positive and negative. That’s the best way to maintain a strong online presence and build trust with your customers.

To respond to Facebook reviews, you will typically get a notification on Facebook or via email , and when you click on it, it will take you directly to that review, so you can check out the review, and provide your reply—it’s as easy as writing a comment on a Facebook post.

Here are some practical  review reply templates  for review responses:

How to get new reviews for your Facebook business pages?

The fun part starts here: finding cool new ways to motivate your customers to leave you positive Facebook recommendations.

These are some of the strategies you can try out include:

  • Adding a physical ‘Review’ sign at your place of business— you can edit and place the official ‘ Facebook Review Us ‘ stickers anywhere from your counter to your tables, walls, shopping windows, or any other prominent sections of your premises;
  • Use the Facebook Wi-Fi feature— set up Facebook Wi-Fi in your business location to get more customer reviews, which will allow your visitors to hook up to your guest Wi-Fi for free once they check in to your Facebook business page and leave you a review;
  • Embed a digital ‘Review us on Facebook’ button— you can place this button anywhere from your homepage to your blog and social media sites;
  • Create a Facebook contest —you can always stage a discount contest for your customers, who will be able to participate if they leave you a Facebook review;
  • Asking your regular customers— you can always ask for a review outright, especially your regular visitors, which will be included to help you out. You can either ask them in person or send them an email such as this one, along with the promise of a discount:
“Thanks for stopping by again [customer name]”.  “Do you use Facebook? The reason I ask is that we have a Facebook Reviews section that we use to collect our customer’s comments. Would you be interested in posting one?”   Here is our link (link to Facebook reviews section) Thank you so much. [Your Name] [Your Company Name]

FAQs about Facebook reviews

Yes, Facebook reviews still exist, but they have evolved into a new format called ‘ Facebook Recommendations ‘, which no longer uses the previous star-based system. Users now recommend (or not) a certain business or product and leave a text-based review. They also have the option to add various tags and relevant images. This new format allows for more context and encourages users to provide more valuable feedback for potential customers.

To see the reviews of your or other businesses, you will have to navigate to the official page and click on the ‘Reviews’ tab underneath the profile image. If the tab is not there, the ‘Reviews’ feature has to be activated through the page’s ‘Privacy’ section.

No, Facebook reviews are not private. When a user leaves a review on a business Page, it is publicly visible to anyone visiting said Page. This allows potential customers to read about the experiences of others, which can influence their decision to engage with the business.

As a business owner, you cannot directly delete Facebook Reviews left by users. However, you can report a review if it violates Facebook’s Community Standards or contains spam. Then, if Facebook determines the review is inappropriate, they may remove it. Alternatively, you can disable the ‘Reviews’ tab on your business Page, which will hide all reviews from your Page, but this will make it harder for potential customers to learn more about your business.

While you cannot directly remove a bad review on Facebook, you can take steps to address it. First, respond to the review professionally and empathetically, offering to address the issue and rectify the situation. If that doesn’t work and you believe the review is from a fake account, spam, or violates Facebook’s Community Standards, you can report it to Facebook for review.

How to get Facebook Review Links for Improved Feedback in 2023

facebook reviews and likes

Table of Contents

In today’s digital age, having a strong online presence is crucial for businesses of all sizes. One of the key elements of a strong online presence is having a positive reputation. One way to establish and showcase a positive reputation is by having a link to your Facebook reviews. These reviews provide potential customers with valuable insights into the experiences of past clients and can be a powerful tool for building trust and credibility for your business. In this article, we will discuss why it’s essential to have a Facebook review link and how it can benefit your business. Having reviews on your Facebook business page is a must to build credibility and broaden the reach of your brand. Plus, these ratings can boost search engine rankings too – Google values feedback from its users!

This post is going to go into detail about how you can get Facebook reviews link for your business pages easily.

Let us dig in.

How to get Facebook review links

We will follow a 9-step process that can help you get invaluable feedback from your customers on Facebook.

Step 1 – How to Create Review Links for Sharing

Establishing a straightforward connection with your current customers, website visitors and email subscribers is effortless. There are numerous ways to accomplish this; however, the most convenient route would be providing them easy access to use.

If you possess tech skills, yet don’t use WordPress; then creating a redirection in the .htaccess file on your server can be of great help. This line of code will direct people who visit yourdomain.com/facebook to the review tab on your Facebook business page – further cementing customer reviews and trustworthiness!

If you do know how to make use of WordPress, here’s how you can create review links:

Yoast Tools

  • To set up a redirect with Yoast’s convenient tools, simply hover over the SEO tab in your WordPress admin panel and click Tools. Navigate to this handy feature for easy implementation of redirection for improved website performance.
  • Move to the next page and select File Editor.
  • Now you will need to edit a file (same as before). Editing the .htaccess file is a breeze with Yoast, as it simplifies the whole process and allows you to easily access your server’s file.
  • To increase your visibility and drive more traffic to your website, use a redirect like this:

Redirect 301 /Facebook/

  • Drive more reviews and increase credibility for your business by linking to your review page URL on all of your online platforms.
  • Hit ‘Save’ and your shortened, memorable URL will be ready for you to share with others.

Pretty Links

  • Make your website more efficient and user-friendly by installing Thirsty Affiliates. With this tool, you can create short links that track click stats and make it effortless to swap multiple URLs on your site with minimal fuss.
  • Please insert the URL of your Facebook review page here. It should look similar to this example: https://www.facebook.com/pg/yourcompanyhere/reviews/
  • Now make a brief URL like facebook-reviews or just simply use ‘facebook’ to easily generate the link.
  • The URL should appear like this: https://yourcompanyhere.com/facebook

Share the link!

Step 2 – Include Review Links with Email

Make sure everyone you message has the opportunity to review your business by including a link in your email footer. Here’s an example:

Martha Wayne

YourCompanyHere.com

Like what we got? Review us on Facebook https://yourcompanyhere.com/reviews

Using Review Grower can promote your review links through email.

Step 3 – Promote The Review Link on multiple channels

Be sure to have the review link readily available for customers when you chat with them online. At the end of a conversation on your website, Facebook, WhatsApp, Slack or any other communication channel don’t forget to ask your clients for their opinion and include the relevant link in your message.

Step 4 – Get Likes, Follows & (Hopefully) More Reviews

Increase your page’s likes and followers for improved visibility. Brand trust is created through multiple touchpoints, meaning the more someone sees your company name, the higher their confidence in you will be. When people follow or like a business’ social media accounts, they are much more likely to keep up with what it posts – this establishes an essential connection between them and your brand that encourages future loyalty.

If you are running ads or boosting posts on your business page, take a look at the list of people that liked the post. Why not issue an invitation to all those who aren’t already fans? Bear in mind: If they have engaged with your content previously, it is likely that they’ll like your page too!

Establishing familiarity and trust with consumers can make acquiring reviews that much simpler.

Step 5 – You can Embed Review Widgets On the Website

Posting affirmative reviews of your business on your site not only provides invaluable social proof but can also significantly boost other aspects related to the success of your venture.

Embed a review widget into your website to make it easier for people, especially those who are intrigued by the idea of clicking on something related to Facebook, to give you reviews. By making this process simpler and more accessible, customers will be more likely to provide feedback.

It is possible that adding reviews and comments to your site could improve its rankings on search engines. While there is some debate over how much-embedded content on a website can be read or crawled by search engines, user-generated content such as reviews and blog post comments have been known to positively affect the ranking of that page.

Step 6 – The Right Template for the right occasion

Determine the best template for your business type with this guide:

  • To make adjustments to your business page, navigate to the Settings section and select the ‘Edit Page’ option located on the left of your screen.
  • To edit the current Template, simply click on the “Edit” button.
  • Local companies should select the Business Template to ensure their business operations are running smoothly. Selecting the template that is most appropriate for your company will streamline both internal and external functions.

Step 7 – Does Your Facebook Page Have A Review Tab?

Unfortunately, many people overlook this simple step; if you have set up your business page as a generic-type page, then the review tab will likely be hidden from view.

To make the reviews tab appear on your Page, start by clicking “About” on the left side. Then locate and click “Edit Page Info” which is right below either a Message Us or Contact Us call to action button.

If you’re reluctant to include your full address information (which is understandable for businesses that only operate online), then adding the city will suffice.

The Reviews tab should appear, although this isn’t a guarantee. Facebook is notoriously opaque and no reliable solution exists for this issue. To make matters worse, the support forums are staffed by inexperienced personnel who only add to the confusion.

Experiment with the templates and address settings until you can get a view of the reviews tab. Additionally, make sure to include as much information in this page as possible – it will help optimize results!

Step 8 – Nudge Users into Giving Reviews

Instead of providing incentives to customers for checking in with Facebook when they visit your business, create visibility around the “check-in” feature. Easily hang signs near reception or waiting areas so that guests can easily spot it and take advantage of this offer!

Foursquare may have been the first to introduce a check-in option, but Facebook has something even more powerful in its hand.

After someone visits a location, Facebook will often send out an invitation to review the business. Though this is not always effective, it offers owners of businesses a way to prompt customers for reviews without disregarding Facebook’s regulations. Nevertheless, one must be cognizant that there are laws in place (including FCC and Google guidelines) concerning incentives for positive reviews – Facebook’s rules on this matter remain opaque as with other policies.

Step 9 – Use Facebook Messenger to Ask for Reviews

Inviting customers to review your services and products using a Facebook Messenger chatbot is the most intuitive way of collecting reviews. Customers won’t be caught off-guard, as they are already occupied on that platform. As soon as you remove any potential friction involved in submitting a review, you will undoubtedly see improved results!

What to do if I get a negative review on Facebook?

Rather than attempting to erase unfavorable reviews that don’t violate any laws or policies, use them as an opportunity. Professionalism is paramount when facing and responding to these critiques; they can even improve your profile by demonstrating engagement, providing content, and showcasing your ability to respond promptly and with poise!

3 Steps To Creating A Facebook Review Link

To get reviews on Facebook , you need to make sure your customers know where to write a review by sending them a review link.

It’s easy enough to get your Facebook review link. Just open your Facebook Business page in a desktop browser, click on the “Reviews” tab, and copy the URL.

The problem with this, however, is that this review link won’t prompt customers to log in. This means an extra action some customers will have to complete, which can, believe it or not, discourage them.

The key is to make the review process as quick and easy as possible for your customers. This, in turn, will increase the likelihood of them posting a review.

You can do this by creating a Facebook review link with a login prompt . It’s not as hard as it sounds, as we break it down in just three steps.

Why It’s Important To Get Reviews For Your Business

Facebook reviews (Facebook Recommendations) have more benefits than most business owners realize.

And knowing these benefits is important as it will help you understand how Facebook reviews work and, as a result, how you can use them to your advantage.

Facebook reviews are social proof . And with more first-hand endorsements of your products and services, more customers will trust your business.

As it turns out, 88% of customers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations.

So it’s about building a reputation (through positive reviews and a high star rating) that customers can trust. This will increase your search visibility as well as increase the chance Facebook recommends your business in users’ Feeds.

What’s also worth knowing is that Facebook reviews can appear in search engine results. And if your reviews are positive, this will draw more traffic to your Facebook page.

How To Create A Facebook Review Link: 3 Steps

To get more reviews on Facebook, it’s vital to make writing reviews as easy as possible for customers. In other words: reducing the steps it takes for customers to write a review.

This is why creating your own Facebook review link (with a login prompt) is better than simply using the URL of your Facebook Business review page, as the latter will require some customers to log in first.

There are three steps to creating a Facebook review link:

  • Create a Facebook login URL
  • Modify the URL to redirect customers after login
  • Add your business name to the URL

It sounds technical, but it’s not. You’ll see as we explain each step below.

Step 1: Create A Facebook Login URL

Customers can’t post a Facebook review for your business without logging in to Facebook first.

Most Facebook users will know how to log in if needed, but, again, we’re trying to make it as easy as possible by assisting customers through the process.

All this step requires is adding “/login” to the end of the Facebook homepage URL, so that it looks like this: https://www.facebook.com/login/.

Step 2: Modify The URL To Redirect Customers After Login

After the customer logs in, you want to make sure that the customer is taken to your Facebook Business page – not to the Facebook News Feed.

This ensures the customer won’t have to search for your business or enter your Facebook URL a second time.

To do this, add “?next=” to the end of the Facebook login URL made in step 1, so that it looks like this: https://www.facebook.com/login/?next=.

Step 3: Add Your Business Name To The URL

The final step is to add “https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fyourbusiness%2Freviews%2F” to the URL made in step 2.

However, you’ll need to replace “yourbusiness” with your business name as it reads in the URL of your Facebook page.

Once you have made the change and added it to the URL made in step 2, the final URL—your Facebook review link—should look like this (except with your business name): https://www.facebook.com/login/?next=https://www.facebook.com/yourbusiness/reviews/.

How To Request A Review On Facebook

3 Steps to Creating a Facebook Review Link (1)

Creating your Facebook review link is only half the work, unfortunately. You’ll need to send the review link to customers, needless to say, but you’ll also need to use best practices for your review request to be effective.

This involves two things:

  • Sending your Facebook review requests using the appropriate channels
  • Including a message that encourages the customer to click the link to write a review

The key to creating an effective review request message is to be direct yet friendly while expressing why their feedback is valued.

You can send your review requests using email, SMS, and Facebook messages, but, in general, email is more recommended. Customer emails are easier to collect than phone numbers, and emails are less personal than Facebook messages.

How To Enable Facebook Reviews

It’s no good to send Facebook review request links to your customers if your reviews aren’t turned on. While Facebook reviews are enabled by default, it’s worth checking to make sure!

Thankfully, enabling Facebook reviews takes just five simple steps:

  • Log in to your Facebook Business page
  • Click on “Settings” (located at the top right-hand corner)
  • Click on “Templates and Tabs” (located in the left-hand sidebar)
  • Scroll down to “Show Reviews” (in the “Reviews” section) and click the toggle “On”
  • Click “Save” to confirm the change

Remember: Facebook reviews are enabled by default. So if you find that your Facebook reviews are enabled (the toggle will be green/“On”), make sure not to change the setting.

How To Increase Engagement On Facebook

Your customer reviews are the most important factor determining your business’s reputation on Facebook.

How you interact with customers on Facebook is also important, however, with the potential to increase page traffic and encourage sales.

There are countless ways to engage and interact with your Facebook audience. But to help you out, we’ve listed three key strategies below.

Share User-Generated Content

User-generated content that promotes your business is essentially free marketing. And like customer reviews, it’s more social proof that you can leverage to build your reputation and increase audience engagement on Facebook.

This includes any kind of Facebook content a customer has posted that endorses your products or services. You’ll get notified when it happens, as a Facebook user will tag your business, check-in to your location, or include a hashtag of your business name.

It’s a great way to showcase more positive feedback on your Facebook Business page that followers and new page visitors will see.

Reply To Facebook Reviews

Did you know that 56% of consumers say that the way businesses respond to reviews matters ? This makes it important to respond to Facebook reviews as it can influence customers to trust and use your business.

Most businesses do not respond to reviews. This provides a chance for your business to stand out, however, so it’s worth responding to as many of your Facebook reviews as you can – even the positive reviews.

There are best practices for responding to reviews, and these include responding punctually, professionally, and transparently.

Your responses should always be appreciative, as this will demonstrate that your business cares for its customers and values their feedback – good or bad.

Share Google Reviews On Facebook

Sharing Google reviews on Facebook is more social proof you can use to back up what your positive Facebook reviews are saying.

The good thing about this is that it’s easy to do and provides more engaging content for your Facebook page that users can interact with.

Using Google’s free Marketing Kit , sharing your positive Google reviews on Facebook is as simple as it gets. You can even customize the review as it will appear in your post (such as themes and fonts), which will make the content more visually appealing.

All you need to share Google reviews using Google’s Marketing Kit is a verified Google Business Profile. Google Business Marketing Kit also gives you the ability to create other marketing materials, so it’s a free tool that’s well worth using.

How To Get More Reviews (On All Review Sites)

It isn’t difficult to create a Facebook review link, but there is an easier and more effective way to get reviews for your business – not just on Facebook, but on Google, Yelp , and more.

Having a review link is only half the work, as mentioned. You need to write a persuasive review request to get your customers to click the review link, which you’ll also have to send to all new customers your business deals with.

The easier and more effective method is to automate the process . And it’s the reason why thousands of businesses use ReputationStacker – a tool that will automatically send review requests to your customers using a proven approach to get more reviews.

Ultimately, it’s not necessary to create review links or even put time and effort into a long-term review marketing strategy – not when ReputationStacker will handle all of it for you.

If you’re not telling fans on other social media platforms that they can leave reviews on Facebook, they might never find out.

So it’s crucial that you cross-promote your Facebook page on the different social channels you own, including Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube .

It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. You can simply promote your page or group on other social platforms and ask people to join you.

follow us on facebook for more

That way, interested people can follow your brand on Facebook, where they can leave reviews and testimonials.

Want to kickstart your social media following on all these platforms?

4. Add a Facebook Review Widget

Another way to convince people to leave reviews is to embed a Facebook review widget.

That means anyone browsing your feed only needs a click to visit your Facebook business page and leave a review.

For instance, you can easily add your Facebook reviews feed to your sidebar or footer areas using Facebook Feed Pro .

Then, you just need to edit the Facebook feed header to something that will encourage your site visitors to review your business, like this:

Using Reviews Feed Pro, you can even embed review widgets to show reviews from other major platforms like Tripadvisor, Yelp, and Google Reviews.

The best part is that you can do this for your own website — even if you’re a WordPress newbie. Check out how to add a social media review widget to your website for more information.

5. Send Email Invitations to Recent Customers

Email marketing can be a fantastic way to promote your brand, convert visitors, and get reviews.

If you want to get started with email marketing, here are some great ways to grow your email list .

6. Write a Facebook Post Asking for Reviews

Sometimes, satisfied customers on your Facebook page might have just forgotten to leave a review.

To fix this, you can create a new post on Facebook and remind your customers to leave a review.

You can also add an engaging image to the Facebook post so you’ll have an easier time grabbing people’s attention.

review request for facebook

As a bonus, you can also use Facebook Feed Pro to embed photos and remind website visitors to leave reviews.

7. Set Up a Chatbot on Facebook Messenger

Chatbots are getting more attention as technology improves. And as they continue to make inroads in the customer service and marketing industry, they’re proving pretty valuable.

The fact is, messages sent by chatbots tend to have higher open rates, and with customers getting used to them, they’re tools worth utilizing.

Asking for a review using a Facebook Messenger chatbot can help you reach lots of new people easily. And that means more reviews for your business.

If you think a chatbot can be helpful, check out our full list of the best Facebook marketing tools .

8. Send SMS Messages Asking for Feedback

Did you know the majority of all searches for local businesses nowadays happen on mobile devices?

The truth is, much of the online world is navigated by mobile now, so collecting reviews in this way makes it super convenient for your customers.

You can use the power of mobile to get more Facebook reviews by asking customers to leave a review via SMS.

If customers have opted in to receive updates via text message, send them a short message containing a link to leave feedback on your Facebook page.

Text message review request

Just make sure you keep your messages short and to-the-point, so people are more likely to read through them.

On top of Facebook pages, you can use SMS messages to grow your Instagram account , Facebook group, Twitter page, and more.

9. Enable Notifications for New Reviews

If you aren’t notified when people leave new reviews, you can’t respond to them or share them with others.

The easiest way to solve this is to enable notifications for new reviews. That way, Facebook will let you know whenever someone leaves a new review.

To enable notifications for new Facebook reviews, follow these steps:

  • Go to your Facebook page
  • Click Settings on the left column
  • Click Notifications
  • Next to New Page review, click Turn On

facebook notifications enable for reviews

Once that option is activated, you’ll be notified whenever someone leaves feedback on your Facebook business page.

And if you get negative Facebook reviews , you can now respond to them immediately.

10. Respond To Negative Reviews

While bad reviews can harm your brand, there are ways you can turn them into positive reviews.

Here are the steps you can take when faced with a negative Facebook review:

  • Respond to the review as fast as you can
  • Start by politely apologizing for the problem
  • Offer them ways to reach out to your support team
  • Remind them to change the review score if you helped solve the issue

example of facebook review response

By helping a customer with a problem like this, you can improve your brand’s reputation and encourage others to leave their feedback as well.

We’ve got a full article on how to handle negative Facebook reviews here that you can check out.

11. Answer Comments and Questions From Fans

Following on from responding to negative feedback, you should also reply to comments on your Facebook page and questions from potential customers.

If people see your page is busy with activities and conversations about your product, they’re more likely to ask their own questions.

interact with fans to get more reviews

Plus, answering questions removes obstacles that prevent people from shopping with you.

Even better, if customers have a great experience with the buying process, they’re much more likely to leave a review describing that positive experience.

You can also embed Facebook posts on your website to show these interactions to your visitors.

12. Promote Stand-Out Reviews on Facebook

Actively highlighting the feedback you receive on Facebook is another way to draw attention to your reviews tab.

You can make it a regular feature to promote the best reviews on your page to celebrate your customers and add a call to action for others to leave their own feedback.

promote postive review example

Why not run a Facebook Live stream where you read out your recommendations, making it an event your fans can rally around and engage with?

Pro-tip : Are your reviews presented as videos? You can also use Custom Facebook Feed Pro to embed Facebook videos on your website .

13. Encourage Facebook Check-Ins

The likes of Foursquare made virtual check-ins to business locations a viral trend.

Facebook took that functionality and added it to business pages where customers can check-in, notifying friends of their location.

facebook checkins example

Facebook’s check-in functionality also has a nifty feature to help you collect reviews. After someone checks in, they receive a message from Facebook afterward, asking them to review the business.

For a lot of business pages on Facebook, it’s another excellent way to get more reviews for your Facebook page.

On top of getting new reviews, you can also get tons of Facebook likes for your page this way.

14. Remember to Ask for Reviews in Person

Most of the tips in this article focus on getting Facebook reviews online.

But if you have a physical business, you have a great chance to remind them to leave a review on your Facebook page.

You can do that verbally or with reminders around your store. For instance, you can add the review URL on your receipts, hang up signs in your store, and so on.

We’ve got a list of the best visual content creation tools to help you design beautiful signs with ease.

15. Offer Discounts and Rewards

You can also give out discounts or rewards to people in exchange for Facebook reviews.

Here are a few examples to help you get started:

  • Offer a discount coupon
  • Enter people into an online giveaway
  • Give out free product samples
  • Offer a free trial of new products

Hi Joanna, thanks so much for your question.

That picture is a screenshot from an email newsletter. You can recreate it by adding individual call to action buttons in the body of the email, or, depending on which email provider you use, they may have social media buttons you can embed.

Hope this helps! 🙂

So you want to get more Facebook recommendations , huh? Whether you’re using a review generation tool like Starfish Reviews or sending a message on Facebook messenger, posting on Facebook, or sending out an email to all your clients or subscribers, it’s simple, right? You just send them to the reviews tab like this: https://www.facebook.com/StarfishWP/reviews/ , right?

Facebook’s Review Linking Problem

Not so fast! Unfortunately, Facebook hasn’t made it super simple as Google My Business has . If you send them a link like the example above, users who are logged out of Facebook won’t arrive at the right place! Check out what they’re going to see:

facebook recommendations reviews leave review login

It’s confusing, right? Not only that, using either of those options will not take them back to your reviews page after they log in. Another Facebook failure…. ?‍ Here’s where they will be taken:

  • If they use the normal, top-right login (#1), they’ll just end up on their normal feed, with nothing to do with your page at all!
  • If they use the “Log In” button at the bottom (#2), they’ll be taken to your page, but  not the Reviews section, where you want them to be!

Outsmarting Facebook’s Issues

It turns out that Facebook does have a way to redirect people to wherever you want after login though. That means we can construct a URL that will redirect people to the reviews section of your Facebook page. This link works great for logged-in users and will take logged-out users to the right place as well, no matter which of the above login options they use.

It’s a little complicated, so we created two methods for you. For both methods, you’re going to need to know your page’s “slug,” aka the part of the URL that designates your page. To get your page’s “slug”, go to your page, look in the address bar of your browser and get the part that’s between two forward slashes: / following “facebook.com”.

Constructing the Facebook Recommendations Link

Method 1 – the easy way.

The easy way is to use our Facebook Reviews link generator below. Just input your Facebook page’s “slug” and your email address, and we’ll email you the very best link for your Page’s reviews. NOTE: it’s not the whole Facebook page’s URL. Just the “slug” is the part between the first two slashes (“/”) as shown in the demo animation below.

Facebook Reviews Link Generator

" * " indicates required fields

Copy your Facebook page's slug, like this:

For Example: The Facebook URL for Starfish Reviews is:

https://www.facebook.com/ StarfishWP /reviews/

The Slug would be StarfishWP ; this is what you enter into the form below.

Paste the slug into the field below, then add your email in the other.

Answer this question, then click the "Generate URL!" button.

Hi Eric! We’ve had a few people report this. But it works every time we try it. You have to ensure you just enter the “slug” of your Facebook page’s URL. So based on the Facebook link in the footer of your website, you’d just put in “brockway.production”. If you do that, it’ll work. I already did it and will have it send you the resulting email. If you don’t see it, try checking your spam/junk. Thanks!

Richard Sui

Works like a charm, however, is there a way that I can get it to open up the Facebook App instead of the mobile browser. Thanks

Hi Richard! The link should open in whatever is the default for Facebook links, on the device where the link is clicked/tapped. So for example, on my Android phone I have the Facebook Lite app. Android previously asked me if I wanted to open Facebook links in Chrome browser or in the Facebook Lite app. I told it the Facebook Lite app, so that’s now the default on my phone. If I tapped your link on my phone that’s where it would open. So this same link should work for any device, but it’s up to the user and the OS to decide if it gets opened in the app or browser. Does that make sense?

Sean Craig

As of Nov 2020 on Android it will open in app. On iOS browser will open and user needs to log into FB in the browser.

Vin M

Hi Tevya! Awesome article. Works like a charm! You really saved me a headache. You will get SuperMan Mega Bonus Points if you happen to know of a way to modify the URL link format you recommended so it also forces “Most Recent” reviews to display first by default rather than the current and only apparent default “Most Helpful.” I’ve looked everywhere but can’t seem to find anything on it in terms of a special parameter or way to manage it in Facebook page settings. For record, its not that the review that shows up in “most helpful” is negative, but rather this issue is its in Spanish and from a vendor in Spain not a customer (which are primarily based in North America). More importantly, with “Most Helpful” as the default it only shows a review or two I think instead of the full list. Whereas, most recent shows them all and chronologically. Thanks again for the article and thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

Hey Vin! Thanks for the compliments. So glad it’s helpful for your review marketing.

I looked into selecting the Most Recent tab as you’re hoping for. I’m not sure it’s possible. It appears that Facebook controls those through Javascript, as they don’t actually link anywhere in the HTML. So unfortunately, I’m not sure there’s much we can do, unless there’s some way to control the aria-selected state in the URL. But I’m not aware of anything like that.

Turisno_rop

Make the process as easy as possible. Whether you’re emailing customers directly or asking for their reviews with a call-to-action on your website, the most important thing is to make the process super simple for your customer. Provide the link to your Facebook page, and give clear directions on how to leave a review.

Karmen K

Thank you! Just what I needed!

JoAnne

Thank you for this link build. What I’m finding with this link is that the user is taken to the reviews section of my page but there is no button for them to actually review my business. The only way to get them there is to take them to the actual Yes / No boxes option that seems to only appear in the Feed of my business’ home page. And the only way to get them there is to just link them to the business homepage and give them directions to scroll and click yes. This is not as effective as a direct link to that yes button. When I try that – it doesn’t work. What am I missing?

Hi JoAnne, this is a great question! The problem is that you can’t see the Recommendation box when you view your own page’s Reviews tab. You can’t recommend your own business/product/etc so Facebook doesn’t give you the option if you’re an admin on the page. But others will see a box that says “Do you recommend [page name here]?” Followed by a “Yes” and “No” button. If they click either of those, they’ll be prompted for more information to leave their recommendation and review. But this isn’t as visible (have to scroll usually) on the main page as it is on the Reviews tab, where our generator’s link will take people.

GlenH

This is great – Works perfectly and it’s just what I was looking for.

marcus

works great.. is there a way to create a link search Facebook?

Steve

Great resource. Thanks a bunch

Wuhan

Nice , very useful .Thanks a bunch !!

Pedro

Can I make the URL more “friendly” – it’s rather long. Would a ‘tiny url’ or ‘bit url’ also work?

JESSE J

It works on the old Facebook, but not the new one that I updated to a few weeks ago

Matt Galloway

Jesse, Could you explain further what your issue is exactly and we can assist you? You can submit the details here: https://starfish.reviews/contact . Thank you!

Dan

This works and was fantastic! Thanks!

Lucy

worked for me! What a great resource thanks very much for your free information

Todd

Works a treat, I put it through a url shortener as well so now I just copy and paste it into a text

Adrian

This is great! Thanks a lot for this. You made my life that much easier!

Kieran

It’s still working, but not as good) Now, even if you’re logged into Facebook, Facebook will display a message “The page you are trying to visit requires you to re-enter your password.” It’s a bit of a pain, but still the best way I’ve found, thank you for sharing.

Natalia Golenkova

does not work on mobiles. Only on desktops

Christopher Hundley

nice no method 2

Idan

Thanks for the explanation, but it doesn’t work when I share the URL on mobile apps like Whatsapp. It leads to a “page not found”. On desktop it works fine.

What is a Google Review Link?

A Google review link is a direct link your customers can use to write a review on your Google My Business page. With a direct link, customers will only need a minute to write a review. But without one, they'll need to follow a six-step process. That's a major turn-off to many customers.

Why is a Google Review Link Important?

Here are the main reasons why getting a google review link is important.

  • Favorable ranking in the search engines - The number one priority of Google is to provide the best experience to searchers. It focuses on the relevance and quality of products to its searchers. This means having many positive reviews can improve your ranking.
  • Increased visibility - If you want to be more visible on Google, you need better reviews. The only way to do that is to receive more of them.
  • Google is likely the first contact with your prospective customers - Therefore, having positive reviews helps establish trust with your customers even at the first interaction stages.

How to Get Google Review Link

Now that we are on the same page about what and why a google review link is important to your business, it's time to learn how to generate one. Here are a few effective tips on how to get a Google review link in a few clicks.

How to Generate a Review Link From Your Google My Business Account

Here are the simple steps to follow:

1. Go to your Google My Business account.

Once you sign up on your business listing account, open the listing you'd like to create a review for.

2. Scroll to the "Get more reviews" box.

Go to your homepage on the listing you're generating a review link for. You'll notice a "Get more reviews" box. Click the box and copy the generated link.

How to Send a Google Review Link

Having your Google review link won't yield any results unless you learn how to share it and convince your customers to write reviews. Here are a few ideas on how to send a Google review link to your buyers to get the desired results.

1. Create a post-purchase campaign.

One way to send a link without being pushy is to send a post-purchase email campaign to your customers after they purchase. If your business is new, you might have to come up with an incentive to motivate your customers to write reviews.

2. Include your Google review link in your email signature.

This is a long shot, but it's still worth trying. Create a signature with a call to action (CTA) like, "Share your feedback on Google" or "Review us on Google."

Pro tip: You can create email signatures using HubSpot's free email signature generator .

3. Send your customers an SMS.

This may come as a surprise, but SMS marketing is still very much alive. Statistics show that 90% of messages are read in three minutes.

Take advantage of these numbers and send your customers a message with your Google review link requesting them to review your business.

Start sharing a Google review link for more reviews.

Google reviews are critical to your business. What your customers say about their experience with your business determines whether or not your new prospects trust you.

One way to make this happen is learn how to generate a Google review link and share the link with your customers. This eliminates the six steps that customers have to go through to leave you a review.

How Taylor Swift inspired a new generation of singer-songwriters, in their own words

  • We're living in the era of musicians raised by Taylor Swift.
  • Gayle, Maisie Peters, Baby Queen, and Gus Dapperton told BI about her impact on their songwriting.
  • Stars like Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, and Troye Sivan also count Swift as an influence.

Sabrina Carpenter said working with Swift is "a childhood dream come true."

how to share facebook review link 2022

Back when Sabrina Carpenter was 9 years old, still years away from becoming a Disney Channel star, she uploaded a video of herself singing Swift's country hit " Picture to Burn " on YouTube.

Now, at 24 years old, Carpenter said she thinks of Swift as an "older sister" after opening for her monumental Eras Tour, playing international shows from Mexico City to Melbourne.

"That is one of my main inspirations ever since I was a little girl," Carpenter also told Billboard of Swift. "Watching her in and of itself is how you learn. I admire her work ethic and her talent and she's just so amazing."

Gayle was greatly influenced by "Picture to Burn" and "I Knew You Were Trouble."

how to share facebook review link 2022

Gayle, 19, shot to fame with her viral hit "Abcdefu" and earned a Grammy nomination for song of the year .

During a 2023 interview with Business Insider, she reminisced about growing up with Swift's "iconic" songs, specifically citing "Picture to Burn," which was released when Gayle was just 2 years old.

"Some of her music videos when I was younger, she looked like a fairy princess to me," Gayle said. "Oh my gosh, she is, wow. Just fangirling here."

The singer-songwriter also said Swift's hit single "I Knew You Were Trouble" is associated with one "very big core memory"  after watching the music video "every day" at summer camp.

Taking notes from Swift's hit songs eventually led to a cosign from Swift herself; Gayle joined The Eras Tour last year as a supporting act , opening several shows ahead of Paramore and Haim.

Gracie Abrams described Swift as "one of the blueprints for vulnerability as a young woman."

how to share facebook review link 2022

Abrams, a longtime admirer of Swift, recently began working with the superstar's "Folklore" and "Evermore" collaborator Aaron Dessner. She has repeatedly covered Swift's songs , including "You're On Your Own, Kid" from "Midnights" and the revered 10-minute version of "All Too Well."

"I just respect the shit out of her with everything that she does," the 23-year-old singer-songwriter told Teen Vogue . "I've always been so inspired at every stage of my life as a fan of hers."

In fact, the respect is mutual. Abrams appeared as the opening act for dozens of stops on The Eras Tour, and in 2021, Swift publicly praised Abrams' haunting single "Rockland."

"I definitely don't believe that happened. I had a crazy physical reaction," Abrams said of the praise. "I don't know how to operate, or function ever again. But I'm her biggest fan. Everything that she does is fucking unbelievably inspiring, motivating, it makes me want to do better and be the best version of myself as a writer and a person."

Abrams will return to The Eras Tour stage when Swift returns for the second North American leg this year, playing a string of shows in New Orleans, Toronto, and more.

Phoebe Bridgers praised Swift as "an incredible businessperson and an incredible writer."

how to share facebook review link 2022

Bridgers, who was also tapped to open for Swift on The Eras Tour, said it was a "dream" to collaborate on "Nothing New," one of the vault tracks released on " Red (Taylor's Version) ."

"I just am so excited to have people take it at face value the day that it comes out, because I got teary recording it. I just couldn't be more excited," she told Billboard last October.

"She is an incredible businessperson and an incredible writer," Bridgers continued. "What she's been able to build just from writing adeptly from a young age is insane."

Upon the song's release, the 28-year-old Grammy nominee took to Twitter to express her gratitude and disbelief.

"I was 18 when red came out," she wrote . "How is this real."

Maisie Peters has described herself as "the biggest Swiftie ever."

how to share facebook review link 2022

Maisie Peters, 23, told BI that Swift is "formative to everything I make."

"I remember listening to 'Back to December' for the first time and just being like, 'This is incredible,'" Peters said.

Asked if it gets tiresome to field questions about being a Swiftie, Peters responded with a definitive, "No."

"With somebody like Taylor, there's so much you can draw on," she continued. "She's so inspiring in so many different aspects of what she's done. So I'm here to talk about Taylor Swift all day."

Although said she Peters hadn't met her idol just yet, she did sign to Gingerbread Man Records , the label run by noted Swift pal Ed Sheeran. He also cowrote three songs on her debut album, "You Signed Up for This."

"I've never met Taylor Swift and everyone always goes, 'Oh aren't you so excited?' And I am so excited, but also it's going to be crazy because she's been so important to my life that it's sort of like meeting an otherworldly being," Peters said.

Read our full interview with Maisie Peters here .

Baby Queen was inspired to pursue a career in music after seeing the "Love Story" music video.

how to share facebook review link 2022

"I just decided from the age of 12 after discovering Taylor Swift," Baby Queen told BI. "I was like, 'This is what I'm doing.'"

The pop-rocker, 26, whose birth name is Bella Latham, also revealed that her brutally honest single " These Drugs " was partially inspired by Swift — namely the gut-punch bridge, a craft that Swift is famous for mastering.

"It's like where you put all the emotions, what Taylor does. She puts all the emotions into the bridge," she said. "You hear the story and then the bridge comes and it's like, 'OK, I know Taylor's going to shoot me through the heart and she's going to kill me.'"

Read our full interview with Baby Queen here .

Gus Dapperton has also cited "Love Story" as a major influence.

how to share facebook review link 2022

Gus Dapperton, 27, told BI that his music is heavily inspired by artists like Odd Future and King Krule — fellow skater kids who had "weird voices" and no inhibitions — as well as supermassive stars like Britney Spears and Swift.

"When I hear my sister sing those big pop songs, it's impossible to deny how beautiful they sound," he said. "My family would all be in the car chanting Taylor Swift songs and stuff. I think 'Love Story' by Taylor Swift is one of my favorite songs of all time. My dad would just turn up the volume as loud as possible."

"That's why I never denied the pleasures of pop music growing up," he added.

Read our full interview with Gus Dapperton here .

Troye Sivan has long been inspired by Swift's songwriting prowess.

how to share facebook review link 2022

Troye Sivan, 27, has been naming Swift as his ideal cowriter since 2016.

"I really, really, really want to write with Taylor Swift," he told Billboard . "I'm sure that everyone would say that, but for me… as a student of pop music, I feel like I have so much that I could learn from her."

Two years later, when asked about his "dream duet partner," Sivan said Swift again, joking that he "may as well reach for the stars."

"We [already] performed live," he told Variety , referring to his cameo appearance on her "Reputation" tour in 2018 . "I admire her so much as a writer. So even if we didn't duet and we just wrote together, I would be totally into that idea — so I could watch her work. She's a master of pop."

More recently, Sivan listed "This Is Me Trying," "You Are In Love," and "Clean" as his top three favorite songs by Swift.

"When she hits that stride, I get so jealous, and I just want to listen to the song over and over and over again," he told Jared Frieder for Interview magazine . "I'm always like, 'Damn, Taylor Swift is so good.'"

Clairo said she "cried uncontrollably" when she met Swift.

how to share facebook review link 2022

Clairo, 25, managed to team up with Swift's longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff to create her 2021 album "Sling." However, the year prior, she was "shocked" when Swift initiated contact with her at the 2020 NME Awards.

"I crouched down with her, so we were both on the floor talking to each other," the celebrated indie songwriter later told NME . "It looked so ridiculous. No one could talk to me after that happened, I was crying so much."

Indeed, the year before their meeting, Clairo had made a bold declaration on Twitter : "I would let taylor swift punch me any day."

According to Conan Gray, Swift "raised an entire generation of songwriters."

how to share facebook review link 2022

Back in 2020, Swift shared Conan Gray's debut album "Kid Krow" on her Instagram story, praising the track "Wish You Were Sober" as a "masterpiece."

The duo's mutual respect is so well-documented that Swift enlisted Gray, 25, to help promote the release of her first rerecorded album, "Fearless (Taylor's Version)," in 2021.

"I've never met her, but she's been kind to me," Gray later told GQ . "Taylor raised an entire generation of songwriters. She taught a lot of people how to write pop songs."

The " Superache " singer also revealed that "Teardrops on My Guitar" was the first song he heard by Swift that changed his outlook on songwriting.

"It was one of the first YouTube videos I ever watched too. I remember that day so vividly," Gray said. "My family had one computer that we all would use and I remember we all huddled around it and watched together. I remember thinking, 'Wow, Taylor Swift is the coolest person on the earth.'"

Olivia Rodrigo hailed Swift as her "all-time idol" and "the best storyteller of our generation."

how to share facebook review link 2022

These days, Olivia Rodrigo, 21, is taking more cues from rockers like No Doubt , The Breeders, and The White Stripes .

But during her breakneck rise to fame, Rodrigo gushed about Swift on countless occasions and even sampled Swift's music on her acclaimed debut album "Sour."

Rodrigo even received a "really sweet" handwritten letter from her idol  after the success of her single "Drivers License."

"I don't want to divulge too much because it's really sweet and personal," Rodrigo told Billboard .

"But she talks a lot about how, I think, you make your own luck in the world. And when you do kind things to others, good things come your way," she added.

Indeed, Rodrigo has already taken some of Swift's career advice: She previously told The Guardian that  she has retained control of her master recordings  because she was inspired by Swift's public battle to own her music.

Griff said there's "a new wave of young pop musicians" that evoke Swift in their songwriting.

how to share facebook review link 2022

"She's probably one of the No. 1 people that I look up to in terms of being a songwriter and being a top female in the music industry and being so consistent and coming back, time after time after time, with incredible songs," Griff, 23, told Nylon . "I even said that to her."

Griff met her hero at the 2021 Brit Awards , where she received the annual rising star award and performed her single "Black Hole."

"Taylor sent flowers, which was really nice. And we got to hang out after the show in her dressing room, so that was pretty crazy," she told Billboard .

Griff also told Harpers Bazaar that Swift gave her advice about handling the "pressures of industry and business and writing my next album — just [to] take my time and do it on my own terms."

Swift even gave Griff a shout-out when she accepted the global icon award that evening. More recently, Swift shared Griff's song "Vertigo" on Instagram, writing, "I love this one."

THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WCTV) - A father and son were both sentenced to life with the possibility of parole plus five years to be served consecutively on Tuesday for the 2022 death of Andrew Hill.

That’s according to recent court documents and a Thomas County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson.

Anthony Ralph Hires Sr. (Tony) and his son Anthony Ralph Hires II (Seth) were both found guilty of one count of murder, one count of aggravated assault and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

The two were both convicted of those charges earlier this year in connection to Hill’s death.

Their sentencing stems from an incident involving Hill being shot and killed in the 300 block of Martin Road in Boston, Georgia in August 2022. Hill’s body was found the following day in Brooks County, according to investigators.

The father and son were both arrested in September 2022.

Two other family members of the Hires were also arrested in September 2022 in connection to the incident.

KYTC: Highway fatalities hit seven-year high, up 9% from 2022

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s Office of Highway Safety says 813 people died on Kentucky highways in 2023, up from 744 the year prior.

Their data shows it was the deadliest year on the Commonwealth’s roadways since 2016.

“These numbers tell us we need to get serious about being safe in our vehicles,” said Lori Weaver Hawkins with AAA of the Bluegrass.

“It’s an astronomical number. I couldn’t imagine,” said Richmond Police Chief Rodney Richardson. “They leave for work one day, or they leave to go to the store...and then the next visit you get is from a coroner’s office or a police officer.”

Chief Richardson feels for the hundreds of families left with hearts hurting.

“We need to be careful - and we don’t need to be distracted,” Chief Richardson said. “Put our cell phones down.”

Driver distractions became so prevalent, having been involved in 20% of all fatalities, that it surpassed drunk driving in this year’s data (16%). KYTC says a third of the fatalities involved aggressive driving or speeding.

But perhaps the most staggering statistic is that 51% of those fatalities, or more than 400 people who died, weren’t wearing seatbelts.

That’s why Weaver Hawkins says it is so important to buckle up every time you hit the road.

“I think a lot of people just don’t realize that that seat belt is your first line of defense in a crash,” Weaver Hawkins said.

Chief Richardson believes that with simple steps like clicking in your seat belt, giving distance to drivers in front of you and paying attention, it can save lives.

“We can reduce that number quite significantly,” said Chief Richardson. “We can actually do better. We just need to be vigilant when we’re driving.”

Cam Jurgens has big shoes to fill after Jason Kelce’s retirement: ‘I’m just trying to be me’

Jurgens, a 2022 second-round draft selection, moved over one spot to take over the locker that once belonged to Kelce.

Cam Jurgens has big shoes to fill after Jason Kelce announced his retirement in March.

Cam Jurgens has a new challenge ahead of him this season and, in turn, a new home base in the Eagles’ locker room at the NovaCare Complex.

The 24-year-old offensive lineman arrived for the start of the offseason program Monday and learned he had been assigned Jason Kelce ’s former stall. The relics that the veteran center accumulated ( and accumulated, and accumulated ) throughout 13 seasons with the Eagles were replaced by Jurgens’ belongings. His new stall is just one spot over from his previous one, but Jurgens said his new digs are still a bit unfamiliar.

“I went to the wrong locker a couple times,” Jurgens said on Wednesday. “I’m like, ‘Oh, man. This isn’t mine anymore.’”

Jurgens has big shoes to fill — and a big stall to fill, too — as Kelce’s prospective replacement at center. Since the Eagles selected Jurgens in the second round, No. 51 overall in the 2022 draft out of Nebraska, he has been billed as the heir apparent to Kelce . The Beatrice, Neb. native started at center for three years in college and displayed similar athletic traits as Kelce did throughout his Eagles career.

Now, after Jurgens served in a depth role in his rookie season and earned the starting right guard job in his second, he has an opportunity to fill the vacancy left by Kelce after his retirement in March. Still, Jurgens isn’t trying to be anyone else but himself as the offensive line transitions to life after Kelce.

“I’m not trying to be somebody’s replacement or somebody’s next person,” Jurgens said. “I’m just trying to be myself. Can I be the best football player I can be in wherever position they put me? That’s what I’m gonna do.

“I think when you start putting it in those perspectives and those terms and people like to compare, and then you put different things on your shoulders that you need to carry. Really, it’s like, what can I do today? What can I do to learn? What can I do to get better? And how can I be the best football player I can be? And not, how can I be what he was?”

The walk to his new stall may be unfamiliar to Jurgens, but the responsibilities of the center position are not. Throughout his college career, Jurgens learned the ins and outs of setting protections and blitz pickups, which were responsibilities formerly held by Kelce. Jurgens said there are some similarities between the approaches he was taught at Nebraska and with the Eagles, so he said he feels comfortable handling that aspect of the job.

He also isn’t concerned about developing chemistry with quarterback Jalen Hurts .

“I mean, if the snap’s good, he’s catching it,” Jurgens said bluntly. “Shouldn’t be too much of a transition.”

But Jurgens isn’t walking into this opportunity alone. He said he has “constant support” from Kelce and Jeff Stoutland, the Eagles’ offensive line coach for the last 11 seasons. Their message to him now as he eyes the starting center role hasn’t changed since he was a rookie, encouraging him to take a day-by-day mentality as he works toward self-improvement.

Jurgens also had the benefit of learning from Kelce for the past two seasons while starting alongside him for one. His impact on his teammates, according to Jurgens, transcended his performance on the football field.

“Just in general, how he carried himself,” Jurgens said. “How you can go about your day and how to work out, how to take care of your body and how to juggle so many different things. That man had a lot of stuff going on. It was impressive to see how he could juggle and manage his time and still be there for his teammates, be the ultimate teammate and captain for us.”

While Jurgens is getting used to his new stall, his old one isn’t sitting vacant. Second-year offensive lineman Tyler Steen has moved in next door, which suggests that he could have the edge in the competition for the starting right guard job in training camp. The starters on the offensive line typically sit next to each other in the back corner of the locker room.

Steen, the Eagles’ third-round pick in the 2023 draft out of Alabama, served in a depth role at right guard during his rookie season. But when Jurgens dealt with injuries throughout the season, the Eagles primarily turned to backup Sua Opeta over Steen to replace him. The rookie earned one start at right guard while Opeta had five (six total, including a start at left guard).

The Eagles are just three days into the offseason program and training camp is still months away, so Jurgens and his teammates aren’t looking too far ahead to the season and the depth chart. Regardless, Jurgens said that Steen knows he can come to him for help whenever.

“We have a really good O-line room in that fact that everybody’s willing to help and nobody’s too big,” Jurgens said. “It’s fun being in that room because nobody’s afraid to ask for help and nobody’s too big to give it. It’s fun being in a selfless room. We’ve got a lot of really good dudes in there.”

Whether Steen, a rookie, or someone else starts alongside him at right guard, Jurgens now has the opportunity to be a mentor in his own unique way given his familiarity with the position. New position and locker-room stall aside, Jurgens manages to keep his career to this point in perspective.

“There’s a sense of excitement that I’m here playing football with these guys and under these coaches,” Jurgens said. “I don’t think it matters where I’m at. I’m just glad I’m on this team.

“I’m pretty fired up to be playing a sport for my job. That’s pretty awesome.”
