آج ہم اُردو میں  شیر اور چوہے کی کہانی  فراہم کرنے جا رہے ہیں۔ یہ کہانی یاد رکھنے میں بھی آسان ہے کیونکہ اس کہانی کو آسان اور سادہ الفاظ میں لکھا گیا ہے۔

شیر اور چوہے کی کہانی

ایک دفعہ کا ذکر ہے کہ شیر جنگل میں سو رہا تھا، اسی دوران ایک چوہے کا بھی یہاں سے گزر ہوا۔ چوہا اپنی موج مستی میں مگن تھا۔ چوہا چلتے چلتے اچانک سے شیر کے اُپر چڑھ گیا اور اپنی  اُچھل کود کرنے لگا۔ اسی دوران شیر کی آنکھ کھل گئی اور اس نے جب محسوس کیا کہ اس کے اُپر کوئی چیز ہے تو شیر غصے سے دہاڑتا ہوا کھڑا ہوگیا۔ جب شیرکھڑا ہوا تو اس کے اُپر موجود چوہا نیچے آ گرا اور شیر نے اسے اپنے پنجے میں دبوچ لیا تاکہ وہ اسے مار ڈالے۔

” مجھے بخش دیں، مجھے بخش دیں بادشاہ سلامت!“  چوہے نے روتے ہوئے شیر سے درخواست کی۔

شیر نے غصے میں کہا کہ  ”کیا تمھیں معلوم نہیں اس جنگل کا بادشاہ آرام کر رہا ہے؟ “

چوہے نے کہا کہ بادشاہ سلامت مجھے نہیں معلوم تھا کہ  ”آپ آرام فرما رہیں ہیں مجھے معاف کر دیں میں کبھی یہ غلطی دوبارہ نہیں کروں گا۔ اگر آپ مجھے مار دیں گے تو آپ کی پورے جنگل میں بدنامی ہوگی کہ ایک بادشاہ نے ایک چھوٹے سے چوہے کو مار دیا لیکن اگر آپ مجھے معاف کر دیں گے تو میں آپ کا یہ احسان یاد رکھوں گا اور ایک دن ضرور آپ کو اس کا بدلہ بھی دوں گا۔ “

شیر یہ سن کر بہت زور سے ہنسا اور کہنے لگا کہ  ”جو چوہا اپنی جان نہیں بچا سکتا وہ مجھے کیا صلہ دے گا لیکن شیر نے رحم کھاتے ہوئے چوہے کو معاف کردیا۔ “

کچھ دنوں بعد، جنگل میں اپنے شکار کا پیچھا کرتے ہوئے، شیر ایک شکاری کے جال میں پھنس گیا۔ اس نے بہت کوشش کی پر اس جال سے نہ نکل سکا، شیر نے غصے سے دہاڑنا شروع کر دیا ۔ چوہا اس آوازکو پہچانتا تھا اور اس نے جب اس آواز کا پیچھا کیا تو اس نے دیکھا کے وہی شیر جال میں پھنسا ہوا تھا جس نے کچھ روز پہلے اس کی جان بخش دی تھی۔ چوہا یہ دیکھ کر فوراً جال کی طرف بھاگا اور اپنے تیز دانتوں سے اسے کاٹنے لگا۔ کچھ دیر گزرنے کے بعد چوہے نے شیر کو اس جال سے آزاد کرا لیا۔

شیرنے باہر آ کر چوہے کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور کہا کہ  ”تم نے اپنا کہا سچ کر دکھایا اور میرے احسان کا بدلہ مجھے دے دیا۔ “

اس کہانی سے ہمیں یہ سبق ملتا ہے کہ:

1) احسان کا بدلہ ضرور ملتا ہے۔

2) کسی بھی چیز کو حقیر نہ سمجھیں۔

چڑیا گھر پر مضمون

دنیا کی طرح طرح کی مخلوق کو دیکھ کر انسان کا دل باغ باغ ہو جاتا ہے۔ رنگوں سے بھرے پھول٬ درخت اور جانور٬ پرندے یہ سب ہماری زندگی کے بہترین حصہ ہیں۔ انسان دنیا کی ہر چیز دیکھنے کے لئے اور اس کے بارے میں جاننے کے لئے ہر وقت تیار رہتا ہے۔

ہمارے ملک اور غیر ملکوں کی طرح طرح کی مخلوق جانور٬ پرندوں کو کار کردگی کے لئے ایک جگہ پر رکھا جاتا ہے۔ ایسی جگہ کو چڑیا گھر (zoo) کہتے ہیں۔ چڑیا گھر میں طرح طرح کے جانور، پرندے ہر طرح کی مخلوق کو رکھا جاتا ہے اور انہیں کی پسند کے حساب سے جگہ دی جاتی ہے اور اس کے علاوہ ساری مخلوق کو ان کی پسند کے حساب کا کھانا بھی دیا جاتا ہے۔

چڑیا گھر بچوں کی تفریح کے لئے بہت ہی زیادہ اچھی جگہ ہے۔ اور بڑے بچوں کے لئے یعنی جو شاگرد ہیں ان کے لیے تو علم (General Knowledge) کا بہت بڑا باغ ہے۔

متھرا روڈ کے اندر دہلی کا چڑیا گھر بہت ہی اچھا اور مشہور ہے۔ یہاں کا ماحول بہت سکون سے بھرا ہے۔ یہاں کے جانوروں اور پرندوں کو قدرتی ماحولیات دینے کے لیے یہاں جنگل٬ گھنے درخت٬ پہاڑیاں اور کھلا میدان سب کچھ موجود ہے۔

دہلی کا چڑیا گھر دیکھنے کے لئے پورا ایک دن لگتا ہے۔ کیونکہ یہاں جانوروں اور پرندوں کی تعداد بہت ہی زیادہ ہے۔ ملک اور غیر ملک کے جانوروں اور پرندوں کو الگ الگ پنجرے میں رکھا گیا ہے اور سب کے نام کے ساتھ ساتھ ان کی پیدائش کی جگہ اور ان کے کھانے پینے کی عادتوں وغیرہ کے مضمون میں معلومات دی گئی ہے۔

اندر جانے کے دونوں طرف کے راستے میں تالاب میں بطخیں٬ سارس٬ پانی والی مرغیاں وغیرہ پانی کی خوبصورتی بڑھاتے ہیں۔ سیکڑوں رنگ برنگی چھوٹی بڑی چڑیاں٬ طوطے٬ مور٬ کبوتر اور اُلّو وغیرہ چڑیا گھر کے پنجروں میں دیکھے جاتے ہیں۔

شیر کے پنجرے کو بہت ہی کھلے ماحول میں بنایا گیا ہے۔ دیکھنے والوں کی حفاظت کے لیے شیر کو رکھنے کی جگہ کی چاروں طرف گہری کھائی بنائی گئی ہے۔ شیر اور شیرنی کو ٹہلتے دیکھ کر دل خوش ہو جاتا ہے۔ سفید شیر چڑیا گھر کی خوبصورتی کو دوگنا بھڑھاتا ہے۔ کھلے میدان جیسی جگہوں میں ہرن دوڑ لگاتے ہیں۔ کنگارو٬ نیل گائے٬ زیبرا٬ شترمرغ وغیرہ سب یہاں موجود ہیں۔

یہاں پر انسان کے دیکھنے کے لیے بہت کچھ موجود ہے لیکن سب سے زیادہ مزہ بندروں کو دیکھنے میں آتا ہے۔ کالے لنگور اور چمپینجی سبھی کو دیکھنے کا اپنا ایک الگ ہی مزہ ہے۔ دریائی گھوڑے٬ مگرمچھ٬ گینڈے سب یہیں پر موجود ہیں لیکن سب ایک ہی دن میں نہیں دیکھے جا سکتے۔ کچھ نہ کچھ چھوٹ ہی جاتا ہے۔ اس لئے انسان کی یہاں پر دوبارہ آنے کی خواہش بنی رہتی ہے۔

چڑیا گھر کے باغ میں جانوروں اور پرندوں کے ساتھ چھیڑ کھانی کرنے اور انہیں کچھ بھی کھلانے پلانے کے لیے سخت منع کیا گیا ہے۔

Allama Iqbal was our great National hero. He is the poet of East. He was born in Sialkoat on November 9, 1877. He received his early education in Sialkoat. He passed intermediate examination from Murrey College Sialkoat. Then he went to Lahore for higher studies.

After that, he went to England and Germany. He got Ph.D. in Philosophy. He wrote many poems in praise of the Muslim culture. He reminded the Muslims of their glorious past. The names of some of his books are Bang-e-Dara, Bal-e-Jibril, Payam-e-Mashriq and Asrar-e-Khudi. He gave the idea of Pakistan. He requested Quaid-e-Azam to accept the leadership of the Muslims. He was, indeed, a great leader. He died on April 21, 1938. He was buried near the Badshahi Mosque in Lahore.
