“Got a job, easy to use!”

I loved the easy way the templates laid everything out. It basically fed me what I needed to plug in for strengths, and what I needed for it presentation and content-wise. One word of caution, it seems that no matter how soon you cancel after you access their site, they will allow one billing cycle to go through so you end up paying the $25-ish. To me, I got the job and it was worth it. I'll pay it off my credit card with my first paycheck!

“Not what I wanted”

I searched for a tool that would help me reduce my resume from 2 pages to 1. This site made it seem like they could. Only once I had paid for it did I realise that the resume was still 2 pages. Good luck with trying to delete your account. They will confirm they have cancelled your subscription but that is not what you requested. Deleting an account is not the same as cancelling a subscription.

No pricing is shown until you try to download or review/edit your resume. It is not even clear that I was using ResumeHelp, since I unknowingly entered the site through Indeed. When I called the help number (took me 10 minutes to find one), the agent argued with me that I wasn't speaking to Indeed (didn't think I was). When I got fed up, I asked to have my 14-day user account cancelled at once, because this screen was the first information that I would be charged $24/month once the 14-day period expired. Instead of cancelling my account, the agent signed me up for another $3 offer... for what? When I called to follow up, the new agent told me that the first agent had "put in the notes" that she gave me other offers and I "chose" the one that was charged today. Reporting to my credit card company and to the state attorney general's office on a fraud complaint form.

Tip for consumers: You can't see what they are going to charge you for, so don't spend a lot of time working on your resume before saving it so you can see the associated fees.

An excellent tool

There is a good variety of professional looking templates offered. I was able to easily upload my existing resume. The prompts and suggestions were very useful in helping me make updates. I found the templates a little difficult to manipulate. For instance I wanted to remove certain headings/sections and it took many frustrating attempts before I was successful. I updated and saved new contact information but some of the old information kept appearing in several of the templates. I could not delete the unwanted information so I could not use a number of templates that I liked. Some basic “how to” instructions on the site would be helpful. Perhaps they are there and I missed them. I did read the FAQs but did not find answers to the specific questions I had. I did not ask for further help though, which was offered through pop ups. Overall ResumeHelp was a good resource and I would definitely use it again. Thank you!

Where's My Refund shows your refund status:

• Return Received – We received your return and are processing it.
• Refund Approved – We approved your refund and are preparing to issue it by the date shown.
• Refund Sent – We sent the refund to your bank or to you in the mail. It may take 5 days for it to show in your bank account or several weeks for your check to arrive in the mail.

Before you file a second tax return

Filing the same tax return again typically won't speed up your refund and could cause delays.

You should resubmit your tax return, electronically if possible, only if  all  of these apply:

An excellent tool

There is a good variety of professional looking templates offered. I was able to easily upload my existing resume. The prompts and suggestions were very useful in helping me make updates. I found the templates a little difficult to manipulate. For instance I wanted to remove certain headings/sections and it took many frustrating attempts before I was successful. I updated and saved new contact information but some of the old information kept appearing in several of the templates. I could not delete the unwanted information so I could not use a number of templates that I liked. Some basic “how to” instructions on the site would be helpful. Perhaps they are there and I missed them. I did read the FAQs but did not find answers to the specific questions I had. I did not ask for further help though, which was offered through pop ups. Overall ResumeHelp was a good resource and I would definitely use it again. Thank you!
