    We can compare the proportion of research types obtained in the current review with results from Sheppard's (2016) review of articles from 2005 to 2014 published in BJSW and EJSW. Whilst 14.3 percent (132) of all articles published in the BJSW from 2005 to 2014 took a quantitative perspective, that amount increased to 20.5 percent (121) in the years 2016-2020.
