A Door Into Hindi is an interactive, multimedia elementary Hindi learning website. We invite you to explore the site and try out the various lessons and learning resources. If you are ready, go to the next tab: “How To Begin.”

About the Project

This Door site is available to anyone in the world at no charge. Whether you are an independent learner or enrolled in a formal Hindi language course, you will find many resources here to enhance your language learning. A Door Into Hindi is designed as a stand-alone, comprehensive language course, but it also complements other Hindi-learning textbooks and curricula.

The site consists of 24 multimedia lessons designed to provide the equivalent of two full semesters of university-level language instruction. By working your way through the materials presented here, you will learn basic spoken and written Hindi.

Each lesson is an integrated module that includes short films, grammar notes, glossaries, cultural notes, “video-professors,” interactive activities, and other learning resources. The lesson movies were filmed in India, Pakistan, and the United States using native speakers and students. Every fourth lesson (i.e. Lessons 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, and 24) is a review lessons which does not include new grammar topics but rather supplementary glossaries and activities. Upgrades to the site are currently in progress, and additional learning resources and exercises are being added periodically.

Because Hindi and Urdu are essentially the same language in their colloquial spoken forms, we have created a parallel Urdu learning site called “Darvazah.” In both sites, we have deliberately combined traditional Hindi and Urdu contexts, much as they overlap in India and Pakistan. Although some words may appear odd when used in the “wrong” context (e.g. “Namaste” in Pakistan), we believe that an attempt to segregate Hindi and Urdu would be misleading and counter to the lived linguistic experience of people in South Asia.

Whether you are a student or teacher of Hindi, your input is welcome in the form of suggestions, questions, or comments. We envision this project as collaborative and adaptive, so if you would like to share your own Hindi teaching materials, we would be happy to add links to this site. Every student has a different learning strategy. If you have never studied a foreign language before, you will have to discover what learning strategy works best for you.

“A Door Into Hindi” contains twenty-four lesson units as well as a Hindi alphabet (Devanagari) learning module. Most Lesson units are integrated modules that consist of:

• A Lesson Movie with subtitles
• A transcript of the Lesson film dialogue
• A Lesson glossary
• A set of Lesson grammar topics
• Culture Notes
• Interactive language-learning activities

Every fourth lesson (i.e. Lessons 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, and 24) is a review lesson that does not include new grammar information but rather supplementary glossaries and activities.

Lesson Media

Each Lesson contains links to media resources mounted on YouTube. You will need a reliable broadband internet connection in order to access the media. The Lesson movies include optional subtitles in Hindi and Urdu. You may use the tools provided by YouTube to pause, rewind, and slow down the films. Each Lesson unit also contains a transcript of the film dialogue with links to the Glossaries, Grammar units, and Culture Notes.

The Lesson Activities active the expressions and vocabulary words contained in the lesson. These may be attempted orally or in writing. Some activities are designed for use with conversation partners or small groups. We encourage you to undertake the written activities by hand rather than trying to learn how to type in Hindi.

The Hindi Writing System

While it is possible to learn Hindi without learning the Hindi writing system (Devanagari), this site assumes that you will learn how to read and write in tandem with learning how to speak and understand. We have created a simple Alphabet Module to guide you through the writing system. You should try to write the Lesson 1 written homework assignments in the Hindi script. In Lessons 1, 2, and 3, each glossary word is linked to an animated spelling movie. Click on the word to see and hear how the word is spelled. By Lesson 3 you should be comfortable reading and writing in Hindi.

Learning a new alphabet requires using visual memory for shapes, which is another skill that many of do not use regularly. We highly recommend that you make flash cards for yourself: each card should have one Hindi letter or vowel matra on one side, and on the other side, something that will help you remember the sound of the letter. Beware of online flashcard apps that generate the “sound” of the letters: most of these are not correct.

The Hindi Devanagari fonts used in this website are Unicode based, which means that they should display correctly in all platform and browser environments. Most devices should be able to display the Hindi alphabet without any special apps or settings. Please see the table below to check whether the operating system and browser combination on your computer is displaying the Hindi font properly. The word in the left column [text in Unicode font] should match the word in the right column [image].

Many students prefer to begin by watching the Lesson 1 movie. We have intentionally not provided English translation in subtitles. You can use the YouTube “Playback Speed” feature to slow down the dialogue, and you may wish to turn on the Hindi subtitles to see what you are hearing. After watching the Lesson Movie, you may refer to the Movie Script, the Glossary, the Cultural Notes, and the Grammar section before watching the movie again. After you feel that you understand most of what is going on in the Movie, you may begin trying the activities. If this approach works well for you, you should use it for each new lesson. It is also possible to approach the modules in a different order, depending on your learning style.

Learning a new language requires using aural memory, a skill which many of have not used since we learned our first language. Try to memorize words and phrases by sound, before writing them down. You can hear the words in the Lesson Glossaries by click on the Ear Icon next to each word. Once you have the words and dialogue “in your ear” you should then look at the Alphabet Module. Go back and forth between the Lessons and the Alphabet Module so that each reinforces the other.

हम सभी का जीवन संघर्षों से भरा होता है। सभी को अपने छात्र जीवन में और उसके संघर्षों के बारे में अवश्य पता होगा। सभी छात्र अपने स्कूल के दिनों में अच्छा मार्क लाने का उनपर बहुत अधिक दबाव होता है। सभी चाहते है की एग्जाम में उनके मार्क अच्छे आये, और इसके लिए वो कड़ी मेहनत भी करते है। सभी छात्रों के जीवन में होमवर्क बहुत ही आवश्यक होता है। रोजाना के स्कूल समाप्ति के बाद अध्यापकों के द्वारा हर बच्चे को होमवर्क दिया जाता है। कभी-कभी छुट्टियों के दिनों में भी छात्रों को होमवर्क दिया जाता हैं। कोई भी छात्र छुट्टी के समय में पढ़ाई नहीं करना चाहता है। हर छात्र को और उसके परिवार को होमवर्क की आवश्यकता क्या है और यह छात्रों के लिए कितना जरूरी और महत्वपूर्ण है यह जानना बहुत आवश्यक है।

होमवर्क क्या है ?

स्कूल के घंटों के बाद जो कार्य, प्रोजेक्ट या अभ्यास अध्यापकों द्वारा छात्रों को विषय के कुछ कार्य घर से करके लाने को कहां जाता है, उसे ही हम गृहकार्य या होमवर्ककहते है। यह कार्य स्कूल में उस विषय या पाठ्यक्रम के लिए मिलें कम समय छात्रों को अभ्यास करने के लिए दिया जाता है। इस कार्य में बच्चे अपने माता-पिता, बड़े या किसी और की सहायता ले सकते है। किसी भी छात्र को खुद के लिए यह सीखने का एक अच्छा तरीका है। इस कार्य को उसे अन्यथा नहीं लेना चाहिए, और हर किसी को खुद के भविष्य को ध्यान में रखकर इसमें रूचि और कार्य को कड़ी मेहनत से करना चाहिए।

होमवर्क की आवश्यकता क्यों है ?

निरंतर अभ्यास और कड़ी मेहनत ही सफलता की निशानी है। यही बात छात्रों पर भी लागू होती है। हर किसी छात्र को सफल होने के लिए कड़ी मेहनत और अभ्यास की जरुरत होती है। इसलिए उसे स्कूल के घंटों के समय के बाद भी घर पर निरंतर अभ्यास की आवश्यकता है। छात्र जो कुछ भी कक्षा में पढ़ता या सिखाता है उसका अभ्यास घर पर अवश्य करना चाहिए, ताकि वह विषय आपके दिमाग में बैठ जाए। इसलिए अध्यापक होमवर्क का कार्य छात्रों को देते है।

कक्षा में विद्यार्थी जो कुछ सिखता है तो वह कुछ समय के लिए उसके दिमाग में रहता है, यदि इसका अभ्यास वह घर पर कर ले तो वो चीज लम्बे समय के लिए दिमाग में बना रहता है। यदि वो अभ्यास न करे तो बाद में वो इसे भूल जाता है। उन सभी बातों और तथ्यों को अच्छे तरीके से याद रखने और परीक्षा में अच्छे अंक प्राप्त करने के लिए इसका अभ्यास करना बहुत ही आवश्यक है। कक्षा में पढ़ाये गए सभी विषयों को लम्बे समय तक याद रखने और उसका अभ्यास करने के लिए होमवर्क एक अच्छा तरीका है। इसलिए अध्यापक छात्रों को होमवर्क देते है। हर छात्र इस बात को समझे और होमवर्क को गंभीरता से उस विषय का अभ्यास करें।

छात्रों को हर दिन कुछ नया सीखने और सिखाई गई चीजों का अभ्यास करने के लिए अध्यपक के द्वारा होमवर्क का कार्य दिया जाता है, और अगले दिन इस कार्य को करके लाने को कहा जाता है। इस कार्य को करने के लिए छात्रों को कड़ी मेहनत और अभ्यास करना पड़ता है। छात्रों पर होमवर्क का कुछ सकारात्मक तो कुछ नकारात्म प्रभाव भी होता है, आइये इसके बारे में जानने की कोशिश करते है।

सकारात्मक प्रभाव :

• जो भी पढ़ा उसकी पुनरावृत्ति और संशोधन

कक्षा में हमने जो भी पढ़ा होमवर्क के द्वारा हम उसकी पुनरावृत्ति कर सकते हैं। कक्षा में ऐसा हो सकता है कि जो कुछ भी हमने पढ़ा उसे कम समय के कारण अच्छे से समझ नहीं पाएं। लेकिन हम होमवर्क से उस विषय को संशोधन कर अच्छे से समझ सकते है। इससे हमारा अभ्यास और मन की शंका दोनों दूर हो जाती है, और इस पुनरावृत्ति से हम उस तथ्य के मतलब को लम्बे समय तक के लिए याद रख सकते है।

• परीक्षा के लिए अभ्यास

रोजाना के होमवर्क से हमने जो भी कक्षा में पढ़ा, उसका अभ्यास हो जाता है, और हम उसके मतलब को भी आसानी से समझ सकते है। यदि हमें किसी भी चीज को समझनें में कोई समस्या होती है, तो जब हम होमवर्क करते है तो हमें कक्षा में बताई गई सारी बातें याद आ जाती है। जिसे हम होमवर्क के द्वारा याद करके उसे समझकर उसका अध्ययन कर उसे दिमाग में बिठा लेते है। इसके कारण परीक्षा के दौरान हमें पढ़ाई के दबाव से हमें थोड़ी राहत मिलती है, और फलस्वरूप हमारे अंदर परीक्षा का डर काफी काम हो जाता है। होमवर्क करने के दौरान हम अपने सारे उलझन और आने वाली समस्या को अभ्यास करके सुलझा लेते हैं। इससे परीक्षा में हमें अच्छे अंक लाने में भी मदद मिलती हैं।

• समझने की क्षमता बढ़ता है

होमवर्क के द्वारा हमें रोजाना पढ़ाई और बताई गई सारी बातों से एक या अधिक बार गुजरना पड़ता है। होमवर्क के कार्य में लिखना और पढ़ना दोनों प्रकार के कार्य आते है, जिससे हमें लिखने और पढ़ने के तरीकों से हमारा अभ्यास होता है और उससे हमारी समझने की क्षमता भी बढ़ती हैं।

• अध्यापकों को मूल्यांकन करने में सहायक होती है

कक्षा में हमारे अध्यापक बच्चों को उसके सवालों, जबाबों कार्यों और उनके नए प्रोजेक्ट के तरीकों से उनके मूल्यांकन करने में मदद मिलती है। होमवर्क छात्र के सभी उलझनों को खत्म करके उस विषय के बारे में अलग तरीके से सोचने, समझने, और उसको अपने ढंग से नया रूप देने की कोशिश करते हैं। जिसके कारण उनके माता-पिता और अध्यापक को उनके मूल्यांकन और अंक तालिका में अच्छा करने का भरोसा भी दिलाती है।

• समय का प्रबंधन करना सिखाती है

होमवर्क के द्वारा छात्र अपनी कड़ी मेहनत और लगन से अपनी प्रगति का रास्ता बनाते है। इसके द्वारा छात्र अपने समय का विश्लेषण कर उसे प्रबंधित करता है। इससे छात्र अपने होमवर्क को समय से करने, खेलने, टी.वी. देखने, अपने दोस्तों से मिलने, इत्यादि के लिए अपने समय को प्रतिबंधित करता है। आगे चलकर भविष्य में वो इसमें निपुण हो जाता है जो उसे भविष्य में सफल बनाने में मदद करता है।

• जिम्मेदार बनाता है

रोजाना और छुट्टी के दिनों में होमवर्क के द्वारा ही छात्र अपनी एकाग्रता को बढ़ाता है। अपने होमवर्क से वह अपनी सोच, याद करने की शक्ति, अपने कौशल को और बेहतर बनाने में मदद मिलती है। इसके कारण वह अपने कार्यों के प्रति काफी जिम्मेदार हो जाता है और सारे कार्य खुद से ही करने लगता है।

नकारात्मक प्रभाव :

• अधिक होमवर्क का बोझ

अत्यधिक होमवर्क किसी भी छात्र के लिए बोझ का काम करता है। इसके कारण छात्र का समग्र विकास में बांधा आती है। कोई भी छात्र रोजाना या अत्यधिक होमवर्क के कारण उसके अंदर तनाव और चिड़चिड़ापन आने लगता है, जो उसके स्वास्थ्य को बहुत प्रभावित करता है।

• अन्य गतिविधियों के लिए समय नहीं मिलता

ज्यादा होमवर्क होने की वजह से छात्र को किसी अन्य गतिविधि में शामिल होने के लिए समय की कमी रहती है। वह इसके लिए पर्याप्त समय नहीं निकाल पाता है। जिस कारण उन्हें अन्य लोगों से मिलने और बात करने का मौका नहीं मिलता और वो अपने को एकदम तन्हा महसूस करने लगते है। यह बात आगे चलकर बहुत खतरनाक हो सकती है।

स्मार्ट तरीके से होमवर्क देना

• आसान और अच्छा होमवर्क देना

छात्रों को आसान और रोचक होमवर्क देना चाहिए जिसे वो आनंद के साथ मजे से पूरा करें। ऐसा काम देना चाहिए जिससे उनके सोचने और नए तरीकों का इस्तेमाल हो और उन्हें अपने इस कार्य में आनंद और मजे भी मिले। उनको दिया गया होमवर्क कठिन और बहुत आसान भी नहीं होना चाहिए। उनका होमवर्क ऐसा होना चाहिए जिससे उनकी बुद्धिशक्ति, तरीकों और नई चीजें सीखने का उत्साह उनमें बना रहें।

• दिनों के अंतराल पर होमवर्क देना चाहिए

रोजाना होमवर्क के कारण छात्रों में बोरियत, उदासी, चिड़चिड़ापन, थकान, इत्यादि देखने को मिलता है। इसलिए बच्चों को एक निश्चित अंतराल पर और रोचक होमवर्क देना चाहिए। जिसके कारण उनके ऊपर होमवर्क का कार्य का दबाव कम हो और उनका पूर्ण विकास हो।

क्या होमवर्क छात्रों लिए आवश्यक है ?

सभी माता-पिता, अध्यापक और छात्र यही चाहते है कि वो खुद से अपना अध्याय करें और इसके लिए होमवर्क बहुत जरुरी और महत्वपूर्ण है। छात्र जो कुछ भी कक्षा में सिखते है वो उनके लिए काफी नहीं होता, कहीं न कहीं उनके मन में कुछ शक और संकाएं बनी रहती है। उन्हें इन चीजों का मतलब साफ नहीं मिलता है। इस सब संकाओं को दूर करने और अपने बुद्धि और अपने अंदर की शक्ति को पहचानने के लिए स्व-अध्याय बहुत ही आवश्यक है।

प्रारम्भ में होमवर्क थोड़ा उदास और व्यर्थ लगेगा। हमें होमवर्क के मूल्यों को समझना चाहिए, और हमें स्वावलम्बी बनना चाहिए। इसके द्वारा हमें आपस में एक दूसरे से बातें करने और अपने सवालों के जवाब के लिए अपने गुरु, माता-पिता, सहपाठियों या किसी अन्य से समस्या के हल के लिए बात करने की शक्ति जगाता है। मेरी राय में हर छात्र के लिए होमवर्क बहुत ही जरूरी और उपयोगी है। यह उनके सोचने और कुछ नया करने की क्षमता को बढ़ता है।

थोड़े नुकसान के साथ होमवर्क के अपने बहुत ही फायदे है। इससे छात्र समय का उपयोग, अपनी सोचने की क्षमता, कार्यशक्ति और जीवन में नए कार्य सोच को उत्पन्न करता है। थोड़े कम और रोचक होमवर्क के साथ यह सभी छात्रों के जीवन के लिए बहुत ही आवश्यक है।

Efforts should be made to make homework more creative and interesting so that the students do not feel burdensome while doing the same and the ultimate purpose of providing homework is served.

A survey was conducted through questionnaire prepared by CBSE to collect feedback from parents, teachers, students and other educationists on “Alternatives to Homework at Upper Primary Level” for Class Sixth, Seventh and Eighth so that appropriate strategies and meaningful activities can be designed and suggested to schools. The questions were directed to know the ideal quantity and purpose of the homework, whether homework should be assigned in all the subjects, internet usage should be a part of the homework or not, how homework helps in teaching.

Keeping in view emerging issues, there is a need to think about giving quality homework emphasizing on acquiring applied learning skills. Few points can be kept in mind while designing a quality homework by teachers: 1, Provide students capacity building activities which are followed up and acknowledged like drawing, creative writing, making puzzles, stories, plays, online games, reading online books and craft.

2. Provide them assignment sheets which improve their reading & writing abilities. Homework must enable the student to practice a skill independently. 3. A possible discussion can be held with different children on what they would like to do at home to improve in which ever area they deem necessary. Homework must be designed in a way that maximizes the chances of its completion by the students.

4. Parents should be able to understand the child’s needs and schools suggestions on how to learn mathematics, logical reasoning, etc. by doing puzzles, writing letters, reading to elders from the newspapers, making household lists, recipe making and cooking. 5. Learners who have dyslexia or number difficulty should have practice assignments overcoming their problems.

The child in middle school have a keenness to discover more and prepare for the examination. Learning is about developing new faculties, which become useful as an adult. The years 12 to 15 are years when rules become important, and doing well, excelling are given importance both at home and in the class. As the child grows chronically his/her emotional maturity also grows and there are interests which are beyond just what lessons can give.

The homework assigned should: 1. enhance study habits and practice skills (which learners are able to perform independently) 2. reinforce necessary skills both scholastic and co-scholastic among the learners. 3. enable learners to become independent learners and thinkers and develop among them 21st century skills so that they can participate in Make in India in future. 4. lead to the improvement in the academic achievement of the learner.

5. expand on the existing knowledge of the learners and be a part of the already acquired competencies in the classroom. 6. not put unneeded pressure or stress by including new learning material or difficult material to be worked upon by learners themselves. 7. be CBSE Syllabus based and as per developmental needs of the learners. 8. not require specific resources or technology which is not accessible to all learners. 9. have clearly defined, purposeful, creative and engaging activities.

It is also advised that teachers can refer to Life Skills Manuals, Health Manuals and Environmental Education Manuals which contain age appropriate and interesting activities which can be taken up by the learners individually. These activities can be assigned to learners so as to enhance their life skills, values and make them health conscious.

Homework is needed, and necessary for a teacher to be able to follow up with each child. The correction and feedback on homework is an important input that helps both parents and children to follow up and improve in areas which are needed. The recourse extra classes, can be reduced if the homework is used for learning improvement and acquisition of diverse skills. Note  – गृहकार्य एक अलग (Three in one ) कॉपी में करें। हिन्दी  – 5 पेज सुलेख। विभिन्न जानवरों तथा पक्षियों के चित्र चार्ट पर चिपकाकर उनकी ध्वनियां लिखो। संस्कृत-  पशु व पक्षियों के दस- दस चित्र एक चार्ट पर चिपकाकर उनके नाम संस्कृत में लिखना। पांच- पांच फलों, सब्जियों, वाहनों व फलों व फूलों के नाम लिखना व याद करना। सदाचार-  राष्ट्रीय ध्वज का सुंदर एंव आकर्षक चित्र बनाइये। वन्दना की पुस्तक याद कीजिये। चार्ट पेपर की सहायता से यातायात के साधनो के नियम अथवा दिशा- ज्ञान का सुन्दर एवं आकर्षक चित्र बनाइये। सामाजिक अध्ययन –  रावण के गुणों एवं अवगुणों की तालिका बनाइयें। जब किसी नगर या गांव में आग लग जाती है तो उससे क्या- क्या हानिया होती है। चार्ट पर ‘भारत देश‘ का सुंदर मानचित्र बनाइये। English –  paste picture of 10 actions on a chart. Read chapter 1,2,3 and find 20 difficult words and learn their meanings. Write four words for each alphabet (for ex- A for apple,ant,aunt,able) write 5 page writing. Maths –  write the numbers name from 1- 100. Write the roman number from 1-50 . prepare an abacus by waste materials. EVS-  collect the pictures of animals you have seen in your neighbourhood and paste them in chart. Plant an tulsi in a pot in house and take care of it. Make a chart of food grains also paste some seeds of each. Computer –  learn lesson – 1 and read lesson -2 and 3

Make a chart on poem- lord Ganesh or The little plant or the lion and the mouse. Science  – paste 5 different types of leaves and flowers in your holiday homework copy. Maths-   learn table 2 to 20 and write also. Learn and write 1 to 100 counting spelling and revise chapter 1 and 2. Computer-   make a model of Abacus. Drawing –  make a beautiful things from waste materials. सदाचार-  पुस्तक के पेज न0 52 से मांसाहारी व शाकाहारी पशुओं के नाम लिख कर चार्ट में चित्र बनाएं। हिन्दी-  अ से अः तक मात्राओं के पन्द्रह शब्द कॉपी पर लिखना व याद करना, हिन्दी व्याकरण पाठ 1 से 4 तक पढना, सुलेख पुस्तिका में पांच पेज सुलेख करना। संस्कृत-  गृह उपयोगी कोई 10 वस्तुओं के नाम संस्कृत में लिखकर चित्र बनाना। 1 से 20 तक संस्कृत में गिनती लिखना व याद करना। सामाजिक अध्ययन –  पुस्तक पठ्न, कॉपी में कराया गया समस्त कार्य याद करो। चार्ट बनाए (एक विषय पर ) हमारे प्रतीक, महाभारत पुस्तक, गौतम बुद्ध, समा्रट अशोक, महावीर।

कक्षा 4 (Class 4)

Note – All the work must be done in 3 in 1 notebook. Revise and read all copy works. Use A3 sheet for pasting work. Do all work neat and clean and with the help of your parents. English –  learn ten words from each alphabet and write them with their meaning in a note-book . Learn at least 35 verbs and their forms. Make a chart on any one topic – The God poem( 1-10). The Rainbow poem ( 10 -20). The Sun poem (20-30 ) My Teacher poem (30 to last). Maths-  learn number name from 500 to 1000. learn tables 2 to 30. Do four questions of add and four questions of subtraction daily in holiday home work copy. Make a chart of following topic according to your roll no- 1 to 25 Types of Angles. 26 to 50 Shapes. Science  – 5 types leaves, seeds,  flowers paste in scrap book.  Make a working model from any topic related to science. Make a list of harmful things for our environment in holiday home work copy. Learn all the class work. Computer –  make a chart of any two computer  devices and give them 3D shapes.  Drawing  – Make any object from waste materials. सामाजिक अध्ययन-  गौरव भारत व उत्तर- प्रदेश के पहले दो- दो पाठों को अच्छे से पढे व याद करें। किसी एक विषय पर चार्ट बनायें। महावीर स्वामी व उनके 5 उपदेश (1-10), गौतम बुद्व (11- 20), हमारे राष्ट्रीय प्रतीक (21-30), उत्तर-प्रदेश का मानचित्र बनाकर विभिन्न प्रदेशों व पडोसी देशों को दर्शाते हुए रंग भरे। हिन्दी  – भाषा, व्याकरण, लिपि ,स्वर, व्यंजन, संज्ञा, सर्वनाम , क्रिया, विशेषण की परिभाषाएं याद करना। (सुलेख पुस्तिका) मे 10 पेज सुलेख लिखना, संयुक्त व्यंजनों के पांच- पांच शब्द लिखना । सदाचार –  कोई दो शिक्षाप्रद कहानी सुन्दर लेख मे लिखकर लाना। चार्ट पर कोई पांच महापुरूषों के चित्र बनाकर या चिपकाकर उनके विषय में पांच- पांंच वाक्य लिखना। प्रदेश व उनकी राजधानी लिखना व याद करना । अच्छे बालकों के कोई दस गुण लिखकर लाना । संस्कृत  – ंपाठ 1 से 3 तक अभ्यास कार्य, प्रश्नोत्तर याद करना, अभ्यास में दिये गये शब्दों द्वारा वाक्य रचना करना , पांच फलों सब्जियों , फूलों के नाम लिखना , शब्द रूप देव, पुष्प,बालिका, याद करना, धातु रूप, पठ्, गम् याद करना, पुस्तक पठन का अभ्यास करना ।

कक्षा 5 (Class 5)

Little things poem (R. no 11-20). Work and play (R.No. 20-30). Who seen the wind (R. No. 30- last). Maths-  Learn tables 2 to 30. Do 5-5 questions of multiple and divide daily in holiday home work copy. Make a chart of following topic according to your roll no- (R.NO. 1to 25 fraction). (R.NO. 26 to 50 Roman number). Science  – Any working model related to science topic or make a project file  of cleanlines 10 types of flowers, seeds and  of leaves paste in scrap book. Learn all class work. Computer  – make a model of monitor help of cardboard/ Learning , reading chapter 1 to 3 . हिन्दी-  भाषा, लिपि, वर्ण , स्वर व्यंजन की परिभाषा याद करके लिखे, संयुक्ताक्षरो (क्ष, त्र,ज्ञ,श्र) से पांच- पांच शब्द बनाओं ग्रीष्म ऋतु में घूमने गये यात्रा का वर्णन, सुलेख पुस्तिका के 10 पेज भरना। संस्कृत-  शब्द रूप तत (वह) पुल्लिंग स्त्रीलिंग एवं नपुसकलिंग बालक, देव फल एवं नदी याद करना धातु रूप् गम् , पठ, कृ,नी, हस याद करना एवं कॉपी मे पांच फूलों, फलो, के नाम लिखना एवं कॉपी में करवाया गया समस्त कार्य याद करना। सामाजिक-  गौरवशाली भारत व भारत भूमि के पढाये गये पाठो को समझे व याद करें। महाद्वीप, महासागर व पडोसी देशो के नाम याद करें। ग्लोब का माडॅल (1-10) किसी एक विषय पर चार्ट समाज सुधारक (11- 20) विभिन्न क्रान्तिकारी का चार्ट (21 – 30), विभिन्न साहित्यकारो का चार्ट (31 से 40)। कला-  पेपर किंटंग द्वारा वॉडर तैयार करें। सदाचार –  पाठ 1 से 4 तक का सभी कार्य याद करें। औषिधीय पौधें या स्वदेशी वस्तुओं का चार्ट बनाये। नीति के दोहे , अमृतवाणी , सुभाषित याद करें। सूर्य नमस्कार का प्रतिदिन अभ्यास करे।
